I would just Yuusha ga Shinda my way out of it no matter how strong he is, death would be eminent

 

Cast an illusion magic that will make the hero think that his lover is getting NTR'ed by a group of demons. When he is in low spirits cast water magic on his feet and freeze them to make sure that he doesn't get away. Finally, cast a shadow magic that will throw him into his own shadow and seal him from the world forever.

 

step 1: create a water clone
step 2: escape with a shadow gate
step 3: use illusion magic to disguise you and charm hot girls...
step 4: live happily ever after............ until you blow it up get discovered and get killed.....

I would side with him and help him to kill the other Heavenly Kings and the Maou-Sama and when he was weak for the battle cast a ilusory magic trapping hin and stab him to death. So I kill the hero that wanna kill me and the damn Maou who send me to death and go live my free life.

act like a good demon and wait for the hero to die of old age.

 

Ambush on the path of the hero:
1- Trap the hero in an illusion formation array
2- Make him fight an illusion of himself, draining his mana and stamina
3 A - He lose and his mind is broken
3 B- He wins, but is still in the illusion believing he is moving forward
While he is in the illusion, he is slowly being poisoned with poisonous gases/spores/vapor with differents effects
4- By the time he breaks out of the illusion it's already too late, as he is too low on mana, stamina, suffer from poison, paralysis, blindness, muteness (sorry for my english), deafness (sorry for my english), confusion and charm

I could also fake my death and help him defeat the others from the shadows with my illusions, then make him and the final boss kill each other and be the big winner

 

I would go to the hero and ask him why he wants to kill me (assuming he'll just attack when he sees me), use my water magic to brew some rad tea and we spend a quaint evening discussing why the universe exists and what life actually is. Then when I got him as chilled as he can be I create an illusion where first I bid him farewell and good luck on his journey and then die due to a remote poison that the demon king supposedly placed inside me that activates when I fully go against his wishes. Thinking I'm dead the hero goes to avenge me, whilst I go on legendary journeys meeting people as we trip the f*** out on some awesome illusions, until I become the illusion master .... and ill occasionally use my water magic for some pool parties but mostly i'll use it to slip important looking people up as they attempt to look fancy, as for shadow magic it must be used for pranks (scaring the living hell out of people), heck i'll use magic for pranks so often i'll be master of pranks and reach a high level in both as a sloth my way through life.

 

1 - trap him in hole.
2 - hide myself in another hole. No one will think there are two holes in the same place.
3 - wait until he kill everyone else. Use illusion magic and profit.

 

Just Make an Illusion you died... Freedom is the Best after all...
