Recommendations Please, can anyone recommend any book/ online novel/ thread story with a competent and strong male

Please help me recommend books with a male mc that is competent, smart, snarky and has the power to back it up and a bonus if he has a healthy dose of apathy, i like jaded personalities that are cool and respect themselves but when pushed too far can react with extreme prejudice , like imagine a batman like persona but when vexed he'll show you that he can be just as vicious as the joker.

Some of the books I've read that ticked most of the boxes: forgotten conqueror, kings dark tidings, contractor, brimstone fantasy, demon accords, fimbulwinter, malazan, unordinary, those who aspire to become gods, until death?, the witcher, zero sight...

Please don't mention these ,as i already know of them: first law, acts of caine, dresden, Prince of thorns, the darkness that comes before,codex alera, super powered, salvage, memories of creature 88, croatan,conan the barbarian.



* No harems or genderbender.
* No xianxia/wuxia or anything eastern
* Looking for character traits : character that is strong, smart, apathetic, and can kick ass against anyone who annoys him.


So please if you know any good ones out there, no matter the location, be it amazon, kindle or someone obscure blog you stumbled on , just point me in the right direction and I'll give it a go. Thanks in advance.

I Can understand your conundrum. All i can say is that its time to go back and reread some of the good stuff you havent touched in a long time

 

The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks is fairly close. The MC isn't overly snarky, but he is pretty much everything else.

 

Void domain isn't a male mc? And thanks but I've already been through the night angel trilogy.
