    Long text incoming:

I'm looking to read manga about adult couples dating, cohabiting or leading a harmonious married life. Primary focus should be on the relationship dynamics and not on something other like, say, food/cooking. Preferably josei or seinen but good shoujo is also welcome. If it's about a couple in the dating stage, I'm hoping for those where they start going out with each other relatively early in the series. Must be a healthy, wholesome relationship b/w mature leads where any misunderstandings arising get resolved quickly through proper communication. Smut is also fine.

No yaoi, yuri, gender-bender/swap, plz. No abusive, toxic relationships, dubious consent or manipulative (male) leads with dodgy agendas. Only modern day setting without any heavy drama aspect or angst. And preferably ones which do not focus on any sort of extreme fetish like hard BDSM, femdom, etc. I'd also prefer the leads not act like middle school kids or have one one half of the couple actually be a minor or right out of high school.

BTW, here's some manga I enjoy:
    • Ase to Sekken
    • Futari Ashita mo Sorenari ni
    • Sesame Salt and Pudding
    • Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu
    • First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage
    • Three Years Apart
    • Tsun-Ama na Kareshi
    • Honnou Switch
    • Renai Gokko Sayokyoku
    • We May Be an Inexperienced Couple but...
    • Boku no Kanojo wa Saikoudesu!
    • Kawaii Hito
    • Karakai Jouzu no (Moto) Takagi-san (tho Nishikata still acts like a middle schooler at times)
    • A Rare Marriage: How to Grill Our Love
    • Bonnouji
Prolly missed some, but that's it for now.

Also some exceptions (leads yet to reach dating phase) included simply because I love the ambience of the story:
    • Kinyobi wa Atelier de
    • Asoko de Hataraku Musubu-san
    • Kimi no Okaasan wo Boku ni Kudasai!

Not exactly the kind I'm looking for but might be convinced to give a try, anyway:
    • I'm Nearly 30, but This Is My First Love (main couple too immature, side ship are great tho)
    • Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii (again prefer Kabakura x Koyanagi tho they really need to open up to each other more)
    • Tonari wa Nani o Kuu Hito zo - Horoyoi
    • Tonikaku Cawaii (losing interest)
    • Kawaii Joushi wo Komarasetai (same as above)
    The types I dislike:
    • Fechippuru ~Our Innocent Love~ (Great art, great expressions, but became plain dumb after some point, fetishization out of control)
    • Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte Kara (focus more on cocktails than relationship)
    • Living, Eating and Sleeping Together (necessary communication/understanding lacking to such an extent as to make one wonder how they managed to stay together that long)
Plz only include titles with active translations or completed status. I wanted to be even more specific, but realized my readers' patience must be already running thin... :sweating_profusely:

P.S. Am running out of adult romance. Plz help! :blobsob:

Even though the ratings told me I had a high chance of liking it, for some reason, I came away unimpressed. And IIRC, it wasn't only due to the tragedy tag but due to the other story elements and structure. Still, thanks.

Edit: Remembered now. It was due to over-dramatization to the point of cheesiness.

Read it. Better than I expected (tho I don't hv high expectations of Chinese josei in general) but not quite up to the mark. That said, thanks for the rec. :blobsmilehappyeyes:

    A happy Couple * [reading]
Chicchai kanojo senpai ga kawai... [read]
Jishou Akuyaku Reijoi na.... [had read a bit, but not interested in otome for now]
Kijima-san to Yamada-san [Liked the author's other work, but for some reason this one didn't quite impress]
Love of the second and fourth Tuesday * [reading]
    My Company's small senpai [reading]
The story of a gloomy systems engineer who gets married .... [looks interesting, will be sure to try]
Though we're a married couple [will try]
Uchi no Danna ga Kawaisugiru... * [reading, had actually forgotten the title and was looking for it]
Boku no Tsuma wa kanjo ga nai * (super recommended) [the premise doesn't sound like something I'd read, but will def. give a try]
    Furare Girl * [reading]
Hokuou Kizoku to Moukinzuma *(a fantastic adaptation of the fluff) [the novel bored me to tears; doubt the manga will be any better]
    Kannou Sensei * [:notlikeblob:]
Kano kaisha ni suki na hito ga Imasu * [reading]
Photo kano - memorial pictures [:notlikeblob:]
She was a little older than me [minor X way older adult :notlikeblob:]
Yubisaki to Renren * [had forgotten all about it; will read]
    Taisho Otome Otogibanashi [read]

Thank you. Found some I had forgotten (but wanted to continue reading) and a couple I'd love to try. As you might hv noticed, this time around, I'm primarily looking for modern day manga with adult leads who are already in a relationship or about to enter into one. If you come across any other good ones of that kind, feel free to hit me up. :aww:

Have read Orange Yane. Annoying Alice and Chiisakobee are looking nice! Will try Bokutachi remake. Rest I have either read (or tried to) or don't feel like trying. Thank you! :aww:

Will try. Tho it appears to be very cliched, the high ratings tell me I should give it a chance. Thank you!

Will try. Thanks for the recommendations. :blobsmilehappyeyes:

Will keep in mind for when I feel like reading historical themed fantasy. Thank you for suggesting it. :blobsalute:
