Discussion Pokemon sword dlc causing drift

i have started getting joy con drift right after it installed and i already had it but switched the analog stick a while ago,do you think its my controller acting up again or the dlc that messed up my controller

 

Its probably the controller acting up again if the drift occurs outside of the game.

 

I haven't experienced any drift in the Pokemon DLC (whether using a third-party controller or the joycons), so it's probably your own joycons starting to drift, at a very coincidental time.

 

The Switch joycons are known to be extremely shitty. Probably a coincidence.

 

But while im playing i check the settings and they dont act up there but when i play they do

 

I've noticed that joycon drift tends to be more noticeable in games than out of it. For instance, I was playing Overcooked at a friend's house and using her joycons, and I didn't even notice there was drift until we got to a water stage and I kept slipping and falling into the water. It might just be light drift that's exacerbated by the game itself.
