    Because the original tler didn't join them and thus they didn't have the legal permissions to use the translations. So they had to start over from the beginning.

    Hmm. Another 6 months and I can probably start reading the novel again as it has finally passed the previous translation. 6 months hopefully give me a good binge reading stash

    Well I'm already reading the MTL and its already not up to Mortal's Journey and Demon's Diary standard. I think i'm salty about just reading last chapter of Demon's Diary and then trying to read this. So I probably got a grudge against Wang Yu atm. lol

    Ah, how far in are you? I MTL'd this for a while, then let the chapters grow and never get back for the end, but I liked it quite a lot.

    Yan Luo is basically the best.

    Something that has bothered me for a while is...
    How are the barbarians able to compete with their lands being a super poor wasteland lacking in resources? They shouldn't be able to afford to train up as many cultivators of each rank. Yet they are stronger than mainland cultivators because of their tattoo totems.

    This to me indicates that tattoo totems are vastly superior cultivation method. And the regular cultivators are idiots for not using them. Instead using the very expensive and impractical methods that don't involve totems.

    Moreover, the totems are 100% compatible with the mainstream cultivation methods so you could easily have both with no issue.

    It was lacking for me. I wanted him to question her a bit. Like hey you could’ve told me this was your plan. Why say come propose when you didn’t really mean it. Or I wanted him to say I made a vow. I will come after you.

    That would be mainstream in Martial Arts genre. I remember some novels used it often. Respecting decision is also a good trait.

    He could do both~ anyways since the weak male mc fell for a stronger female character, it’s already following a mainstream.
