Just and afterthought as I'm playing dissidia and 012 does anyone still use this, and if so on what server other than coldbird are you on. Because I wish I could do some online dissidia.
Wut? PPSSPP can be online? I used to play patapon and mhfu on it for nostalgia. Didn't know that it can be online.
I remember they were trying to add that functionality a couple years ago, looks like they might have succceeded.
From what I've read they had it as far back as 2014? If I remember seeing. ......go on the play store, it's been there
Last time I used it(not sure how many years but 2+) they "had" it. But only in the sense it was optional to enable it. Using it with any semblance of stability was not quite a viable choice, glad to know they got it up and working.
Are the controls for MHF/U like an analog on the screen or is it mouse + keyboard? I tried using this emulator before and I uninstalled it the moment I saw the controls converted to PC but still analog. Do tell me ifs the latter, because there might still be hope for me to play for nostalgia!
I played it using controller for pc. It was good enough. You will be frustrated with keyboard. Especially when playing action games like mh or god eater.
Camera angle and view, movement, attack/block and item usage are all in keyboard? Not mouse with keyboard but all keyboard?
That I am in the middle of finding p it, had to completely reset my pc along with my drivers, so yeah.
Oh boi, you both will have fun with games similar to Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 4. About PPSSPP, it isn't that difficult to get used to full keyboard (I don't think it took me more than 1 hour). Default mappings are shit tho.
Oh, I still use it, but I only play single player games... Good luck in finding people to play online with! ^^)/ Isn't the default mapping of every single emulator absolutely terrible? The first thing I do in any emulator is to reconfigure the mapping.
Probably. The only other emulator I've tried is VisualBoyAdvance (for GBA) and it was like more than a decade ago, so I can't say for other emulators.
I already an adept at DMC PC games, but DMC games don't have camera angles, item changing while information logging, and most of all, it's just movement and combo spams. Hey, I'm not saying it's very easy but MH doesn't rely on spam but on quick reactions using the weapons you're equipping. With also running or walking around in or out fight while mixing items via inventory, including a 360 degrees camera view spin to avoid obstacles. I don't want to tire out my fingers on the keyboard just to do all that. There's also rolling and throwing.
Well, Monster Hunter is literally the only game I play in PPSSPP (both MHFU and MHP3rd). I adapted to PPSSPP playing MHFU. I had already played MHF and MHFU in the PSP (until it died :c), so maybe that made it easier.
