Heya~ this is also gonna be a looooong read, because there’s no action or though without meaning in this arc, it’s so dense, many things are happening and it's real interesting aaah <3 I'm trying to make it shorter but I just can't, I wanna share eveything XD

Anyway, part 1 for now, enjoy~

Leah lost her memories, she's now "in love" with Blaine as all of her happy times with Ishakan are remplaced by the same happy times with Blaine. Still, she feels that something's strange about her memories.

Blaine's an a** and Serdina a b*tch, basically. XD

There are hints given that she might be pregnant, she doesn't stand some smells and foods anymore and has nausea.

She meets Ishakan again in Estia, and the Kurkans are trying to bring back her memories of them.

　。When Leah opens her eyes again, she’s back in Estia’s Royal Palace, in front of Serdina, and Blaine’s sitting on the throne behind her. She immediately tries to kill herself by stabbing the dagger holding at her waist in her neck, but Blaine jumped to block the blade. She tries to bite her tongue, but he also puts his finger in her mouth so that she doesn’t manage to kill herself. Blaine then tries to make her drink something, but as she struggles, Serdina takes control of her body and makes it so she cannot move. They force the potion in her throat, and she can feel the memories disappearing, reminiscing them one by one and seeing them being locked behind an iron door. She gradually stops crying and doesn’t even remember why she was crying in the first place. She sees Blaine in front of her, asking her to smile and she starts to laugh. He then asks her if she loves him, she can feel a slight discomfort in her heart but still answer as if it was obvious that yes, she does. (that broke my heart ugh, ch93).

　。Approximately two months have passed, and Leah is preparing for the royal wedding, Blaine wants it to be huge so he’s asking for an enormous budget, lots of guests (foreign ones included ofc) and she has to take care of all the preparations according to his demands. Lots of time, while interacting with the nobles or the people in the palace, Leah feels that something’s weird, but she doesn’t understand why she thinks that way. When she looks at the garden, that is now all withered with only thorn bushes, she thinks about how it would always be full of beautiful flowers before and doesn’t understand what made it change that way.

She finishes a meeting, and someone reports to her that Blaine’s back from hunting. She goes to greet him but when she arrives, he’s already with a gorgeous woman with blonde hair. We learn that she’s Lady Mirael, Blaine’s favorite “concubine” (I don’t really think the terms fits, but it’s more like he’s having a love affair before his wedding with Leah, so it would be more like a second/secret lover ahaha we have real nice word in French for this which is “amant”). Leah greets him and think that she can’t do anything about him having a woman on the side because she herself cannot fulfill her bridal duties yet, so she just let it go without saying anything. Blaine doesn’t seem pleased, he asks her to laugh and she just laugh mechanically upon his order. He then tells her that they’ll have dinner together later and goes back to the palace with Mirael.

Leah goes back herself and thinks about how she has to do all the work while Blaine enjoying hunting and reminisces about her past. She’s sure to be in love with Blaine since long ago and still remember when she confessed. She did it holding a pink peony in front a field in full bloom, and that he was happy to hear her confession and told her that they should marry.

During the dinner, Blaine asks her why she’s not jealous about Mirael, but Leah can’t really answer. He then gifts her a wedding ring, but as she doesn’t genuinely seem happy, he asks her she would like as a gift. She tells him that she would like to get a quill and tells her that she remembers him trimming quills himself. He suddenly becomes really angry and order her to come to his bedroom during the night, which seems to frighten Leah a lot.

She later goes to his bedroom and even before entering she can hear moans and harsh breathing sounds. She enters the room and Blaine order her to sit on a chair while watching him have sex with Mirael. During intercourse, he’s keeping his eyes on Leah and finishes on Mirael’s belly, not inside her. He goes down the bed, comes standing in front of Leah and blandly order her to suck him off. (EWWWWWWWWWW)

We learn that Leah’s unable to have any kind of relation with Blaine, she can’t kiss him, touch him or even imagine having sex with him, and feels disgusted each time she has to think about it. He once tried to deepen their relationship by force, almost raping her, but seeing Leah crying make him stop (hopefully, a**hole). Each time after that, when he wanted to have sex, he would call Leah to his room and make her watch him have sex with Mirael.

Disgusted, she leaves his room after having been slapped by Blaine and goes to the garden, to a fountain in a place where not many people come. A man that she doesn’t recognize comes to her
“Who are you? Identify yourself!”

But the man did not answer. His gaze touched Leah’s cheek. She hurriedly covered it. The pain was overwhelmed by the embarrassment. The man, who had only looked at her for a long time, slowly pulled down his robe’s hood. Revealing golden pupils, he said.

“Your husband.” (ch95, Leah’s reaction is real fun, she finds him incredibly rude ahaha)

Ishakan notices the ring on Leah’s hand and embrace her even though she’s trying to resist. He calls her name and kisses her. Then he tells her things she doesn’t understand, how he seems to be deeply attached to her. She misunderstands, thinking that he’s a man having lost his wife and tells him that she’ll forgive him for his rudeness, as she realizes his mistaking her with someone. Knights start to come their way, so Ishakan decides to go back, leaving Leah telling her as a first hint that he’s Ishakan, the King of the Kurkans and that she has to remember him. Leah’s left alone to think, she’s disturbed by the fact that she couldn’t even imagine having a physical relationship with Blaine while she didn’t hate the contact with Ishakan, and even felt her body heat up to his touch. When she’s brought back to the palace by the knights, Blaine’s waiting for her, he hugs her when she comes in and ask her again to tell him that she loves him, which she does. When going further into the palace, she can’t help but look back at the garden, thinking of golden eyes. (ch96)

　。POV Blaine : We learn about his past, that he’s not the child of the king and originally has blond hairs. Serdina’s been giving him potions in order to make his hair silver all the time. We see the day when he met Leah for the first time, she was playing under a peach tree covered with pink flowers and he though that her round cheeks looked like peaches. She gave him a small branch with peach flower, that never left his pocket until it became completely dried. After throwing the dried branch, that’s when he decided to tell Serdina that he wanted Leah, and when she told him that he should become king in order to get her.

Back to the present, we see him going to Serdina’s room, furious because he knows that even now, he doesn’t have Leah’s heart. When Leah came back, he was satisfied for a week, but after that week, he realized that something was wrong. She would tell him she loved him, smile and laugh when he asked, but he knew that her love was based on what happened with Ishakan. The sorcery just made it so that Ishakan would be replaced by Blaine in her memory, and he couldn’t be satisfied with that when she kept reminding him of things that happened with Ishakan and not him (like when she asked for the quill). Serdina then tells him that during the wedding, she’ll enchant all the foreign envoys and that they should simply kill the kurkans.

　。POV Leah : The day after meeting Ishakan, she wakes up after thinking about it all night and Serdina comes to her room for breakfast. In her memory, Serdina had always been kind to her, but this time she was scared and uncomfortable having to deal with her. During breakfast, Leah notices that there are some foods that she can’t stand the smell anymore and doesn’t want to eat, but to not make a mistake in front Serdina she forces herself to eat. Serdina then leaves after observing her, her room, and giving her a kind of herbal tea that should help relief stress and headache, telling her that she has to drink the tea 3 times a day. Leah then goes into the garden with Melissa (she’s bewitched ofc btw, my poor Melissa :’( ), ask her to fetch something from her room so that she can be alone, and throw up everything she ate during breakfast. There is a though in her head, telling her that she shouldn’t let anyone know about her nausea, but she doesn’t understand why.

Times pass, Leah is less and less able to tolerate different kinds of food and she’s loosing weight. Envoys start arriving for the wedding and Blaine forbids her to greet them as she looks sicker every day. She insists to go with him, she heard that the kurkans envoys also arrived, so she wanted to make sure that the man she met in the garden was truly the king of kurkans, so she convinces him to let her go greet the guests with him. Leah and Blaine arrive in a hall, and when the kurkans see them, they all look at her in a fierce manner. Ishakan comes forward, greeting them, and Blaine hold her by the waist and kiss her cheek while introducing Leah as his wife to Ishakan. (ch98) Ishakan and the Kurkans with him seem even more agitated.
Ishakan glanced for a moment and then slowly opened his mouth.

“I heard that in Estia, thieves would get their hands cut of.”

He looked down at Blaine and asked.

“How do you deal with those who have coveted another’s wife?”

“I don’t know. I wouldn’t know as it never happened to me.”

Blaine laughed ridiculously.

“She was my wife from the beginning.”

In response to Blaine’s answer, Ishakan also laughed. The golden eyes turned to Leah. He whispered while looking at her, standing like a doll in Blaine’s arms.

“The Kurkans are the same…when mates are bonded, they will chase each other for life.”

Blaine takes Leah to the banquet hall and forbids her to greet more guests. Serdina comes again, checking if Leah’s taking the medicine (=the tea she brought). After a while, feeling sick, Leah decides to go in a break room after asking Blaine’s permission ofc. When she enters the break room, she meets with a kurkan woman and Ishakan, and is then left alone with him in the room. They talk, she takes in his smell, his voice, his appearance, she feels is body heat (he kabe-don her haha), but she still can’t remember him. He then gives her a second hint by giving her dried dates, that she eats immediately. She’s amazed by the fact that she doesn’t feel sick at all with this, and that she enjoys the taste so much. She asks him to give her more dates, but he gives her condition : A kiss. She wonders a bit, but she wants to eat so much and doesn’t feel disgusted by the thought of kissing him, so she makes the first moves, which surprises Ishakan. He deepens the kiss, and when she’s trying to push him back, he asks her what Blaine’s love is like to her because he doesn’t seem to treat her right. She tells him that she’s the one who confessed first, that she did it in front of a pink peony flower field. Ishakan becomes furious, telling her that in the past she hated this place and asking her if he should just kill them all and bring her back to the desert. (ch100) He then apologize when hearing that Blaine’s coming, and ask her again to remember him before leaving. Blaine comes in the room, takes Leah back, telling her he’ll gift her with a peach orchard, a villa etc anything she wants… but she keeps thinking about Ishakan and starts finding the ring on her finger really heavy.

　。POV Kurkans : Morgan’s not sur if he can heal Leah, make her remember them, but he suggests that if Leah becomes aware of the wrong memories by herself, they might be able to help her. They decide to do everything they can to stimulate her memories. They set the wedding as a deadline, and even if she’s still not able to remember them to this day, they’ll bring her back to the desert. Genin, Havan and Morgan are all aware of how Ishakan’s slowly falling apart and reaching his limits. They think about someone that knew Leah before but might not be brainwashed as she left the palace and could thus help them in stimulate Leah : Lady Cinnael.

(Ok so ! Short review on Lady Cinnael that I didn’t really introduce before, as I thought it wasn’t necessary ahaha serves me right. She is the maid that stole the purple kurkan dress in Leah’s room and gave it to Serdina before the luncheon. She was controlled by Serdina at the time, and decided to quit working for Leah soon after, or maybe Melissa told her to not come anymore I’m not sure, but anyway, the thing is that when she quit, Leah went to see her one last time, telling her that she didn’t blame her and gifted her a property to retire in. That’s what made Leah realize that Serdina already had control over all of her maids. Back to the story… XD)

　。POV Leah : Over the next few days, Leah’s thinking a lot about Ishakan, about of the palm dates, the fact that she knew the taste and enjoyed it even though it should be her first time eating some etc etc

Comes the day when she has to try wedding dresses, she vaguely remembers having already worn a white dress on a meaningful day and she realizes that this time, she’s not thrilled to marry Blaine.
Mirael comes in uninvited and suggest giving Leah tips on how pleasuring Blaine (ewww) but Leah doesn’t feel afraid in front of her anymore and answer back coldly to her. Blaine also comes in a bit later and grabs Mirael by the hair furiously. Leah tells him to stop and that he’s the one to blame if Mirael came to see her like this. He shouts for everyone to go out and Leah tells him that he’s changed compared to the past she knows. He goes back himself, and Leah starts questioning her memories, wondering if the thing she remembers really happened as she remembers them. (ch103)

At night, being unable to sleep and wanting to eat palm dates, she goes outside on the balcony of her room, and there notices Ishakan smoking a tabacco leaf, sitting on a tree in front of her balcony (hahahaha dude plz)
Leah wanted to get some fresh air, so she opened the glass door and went out the balcony. When she put her hand on the railing while looking at the royal palace, she could smell something. Leah turned her head toward the smell, and almost screamed. It was because of the eye contact she made with a man sitting on the other side, on a tree, and smoking a leaf. The gold eyes shimmered with amusement.

“Oh, you caught me.”

When he gets down to her balcony, she starts crying, telling him that she wanted more dates but he didn’t give her any yet (she’s so cute <3 ). He immediately gives her boxes of dates he brought, and she eats them quickly. He asks her if they should go out for a night walk together and tells him that she’ll come if he gives her more dates. Then he tells her that he’ll give her something even more delicious ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

He asks her to call him by his name when they’re together, and then they talk a bit about her lost memories as she wants to get more explanations. They go outside the royal palace again; he brings her to the city where they went together before and brings her in a shabby inn. There Ishakan calls Havan and Mura (Leah doesn't remember them, but she feels familliar with them), they bring Kurkans food to feed Leah. They also bring in Cinnael. She shows Leah the property deed she received from her, letters written by Leah etc… which makes Leah have a sharp headache. She still can’t remember, and Ishakan decides that Leah needs to rest, so he takes her upstairs, in a room at the end of the hallway. (If you didn’t get it, it’s the inn where they spent Leah’s first night, the same room, they sat at the same table downstairs… x’) )

Ishakan lays Leah down on the bed and lays next to her. She thinks for a while and realizes that she wants to touch him and do even more. She kisses him and Ishakan immediately hugs her as if he had been waiting for this. Bit of a smexy time, they don’t go all the way tho, ofc. He removes her ring and tells her that he knows about Blaine having sex with other women, so why couldn’t Leah do the same (that’s right uh ! I swear Ishakan’s gonna be the death of me ahaha )
He moved a bit and put something in Leah’s hand. She grabbed it casually but was quickly surprised. Ishakan burst into laughter as she looked astonished. But Leah was serious.

God, what is this ?! Is it a snake … ?? (she's thinking, not saying it aloud)

The only thing she saw was Blaine’s penis. Considering the way Mirael was moaning when they had sex, she thought that Blaine’s was on the big side. But Ishakan was different. He was hiding a beast between his legs. Ishakan rubbed himself with the palm of Leah’s hand, while she looked at it as if it was a poisonous snake, and shook his head.

“It’s yours. You liked this.” (AHAHAH I CAN’T § HELP PLZ)

Anyway, they enjoy their time together, but in the middle, Leah’s feeling conflicted and tells Ishakan that she feels guilty, doing something like this even though she’s supposed to get married to Blaine. Ishakan gets a bit rougher, telling her that she’s wrong, that she can’t even recognize her real husband yet so she shouldn’t care about this for now. They continue and Leah faints at the end. (end of ch105 to 107)

　。POV Ishakan : there’s half a chapter of his inner thought while he’s taking care of Leah post-sex, we see how much he’s hurt while watching Leah not remembering him, thinking about Blaine instead of him. It’s a pretty hard part imo, the feelings are really well transmitted, poor baby :’( We can strongly see how much he cherishes her and how much he’s enduring his pain trying not to get crushed.

Also btw, I catched up with the last chapter available (118), we're not fully there yet but it's looking good ladies It's gonna be the end of Serdina and Blaine pretty soon I hope

Omg!! You're amazing! Thankyou so much for the reunion chapters I was going crazy thinking why Ishakan hasn't come to take Leah yet and that disgusting Blain will r@pe Leah with his jangling banana but thank god he hasn't. And OMFG!! ISHAKAN MY LOVE IS BACK! And with all his charisma He's the death of me! I cannot just not love him with his carefree machoism dude! And the way they recreate their first date out of the palace and his Palm dates! Omg! My heart is throbbing Leah your husband's here just drown into that Golden eyes and go with him back to desert. And Ishakan please crush those disgusting mother-son duo already!

　。POV Serdina : She meets with Mirael and tells her that she’ll help her get it on with Blaine and sends her away. In fact, she doesn’t plan to help her at all, because she wants Blaine to treat women like object, for him to take them and throw them out as he wishes. She’s furious each time she sees how much Blaine loves Leah, still she has to make it so that Leah submit her heart to him. She admits that it seems difficult to completely control her.

We learn that the potion she made Blaine drink and the one they gave to Leah when she was brought back were love potions. Blaine drank one with Leah’s hair, and Leah drank one with Blaine’s hair. That should have been powerful enough to make Leah submit, but it didn’t. Serdina then considers that Leah might be pregnant, because as the kurkans have better resilience to gypsy sorcery, if Leah’s pregnant with a kurkans’ child, that would explain why it’s difficult to make her submit. She still believes that Leah’s infertile, but just in case she gave her a kind of herbal tea that would induce miscarriage.

　。POV Leah : She’s dreaming about being chased by someone and running in direction of a huge iron gate, locked with a chain and a large lock. When she tries to open it, she can’t. She then hears a voice from behind the door, urging her to open it, warning her about being caught up by Serdina, that she’s going to kill her if she finds out.

Then she wakes up, with a stinging pain in the stomach. After a while, she calms down and touch her stomach again. She realizes that she felt something moving but doesn’t imagine what it could be.

(Btw I forgot to mention before, but when trying the wedding dresses, the tailor tells Leah that her waist size slightly increased. She also feels heavy from her belly, and she noticed that in the last two month or so she didn’t get her periods, but as it was irregular from the start, she doesn’t think more about it either.)

She thinks about Ishakan and Lady Cinnael, that something’s definitely wrong with her and that she has to figure it out. For now, she feels trapped and wants to go outside her room, but when trying to open her window, she finds out that she’s locked inside. Melissa tells her that Blaine ordered not to let her go outside anymore.

　。POV Mirael : We see the b*tch with a guy from the royal palace, telling her that Leah’s gonna be moved this day to a villa Blaine bought outside the city, and that she’ll be locked here until the wedding. She’s left, wondering and plotting something.

　。POV Leah : Blaine sends Leah forcefully to the villa, which is surrounded by a beautiful peach orchard. She feels frustrated because there are still many things to prepare for the wedding, but also fears that maybe Blaine noticed the change in her, and that’s the reason he sent her away. She throws her wedding ring on the bed, and starts thinking about lots of thing : Blaine’s attitude, her recent stomachaches that started after Serdina gave her herbal tea, the Kurkans…

After being locked up in the villa for a few days, she decides to write a memo in the middle of the night that she puts on the windowsill of her room, believing that Ishakan would be watching her and asking him for help. The next morning, the memo’s not there anymore, so she knows that he took it. She spends her day “as usual”, still drinking Serdina’s tea, and waits patiently for the night. As the night comes, while hopping that Ishakan would come, she suddenly hears noises and voices coming from the mansion. She gets that the maids or knights wouldn’t make such noise, neither would the kurkans, so she decides to flee from her room by the window, even though it’s the second floor. When standing on the windowsill, she sees Ishakan waiting under her window, looking up at her. She jumps in his open arms (I wish we could see that scene in a manhwa aww), just before people come into her room.

She tells him that she keeps thinking of him, every day, all day long and he tells her he’s the same. There’s a bit of sweet time, while the guys are supposed to come after her ahah x’)

She realizes that she might be in love with him, then calls him Isha, and tells him she wants to run away with him. (ch110) He tells her that he would do anything for her, he’s so desperate that even if she was to say that she loves someone else, he would take her with him. The next moment, she tries to hug him but suddenly grabs her stomach instead, feeling a sharp pain, like if someone was slicing her open. She feels and sees blood flowing down her legs and faints in Ishakan’s arms.

　。POV Mura, Havan, Genin : We see them killing the intruders in the mansion and they try to find a reason for why they were here. They hint that someone might have intended to hurt Leah so much that she would be ashamed to tell anyone (like you know, in Estia the bride’s chastity is very important, so Leah wouldn’t have been able to admit that she wasn’t a virgin anymore in case someone forced himself on her or sth like this… :/) They then reunite with Ishakan and when they see him in panic with Leah in his arms, they also start to panic as they see the blood flowing from her legs. Havan quickly goes to fetch Morgan while Mura takes care of stopping the blood first.

As Morgan examines Leah, he tells them that the cause of the bleeding could be a miscarriage, surprising everyone as they realize that Leah was pregnant, but scaring them more that she could have lost the baby. Hopefully, he finds that both Leah and the baby seem to be safe. (I legit shed a tear before reading that the baby was safe. THANKS AUTHOR ILY <3 )

He suggests that Leah’s body might have instinctively tried to protect the baby when drinking Serdina’s poison. As it’s considered a miracle that she became pregnant, and another miracle that the baby survived, they decide that they should do their utmost to protect her from now on, never leaving her future to chance again and not hoping for any more miracle. They will also keep it a secret from Leah, as her body’s in a bad condition and they don’t want to shake her anymore than she already is, dealing with her memories and stuff.

　。POV Leah : Again, she’s dreaming and finds herself in front of the iron door. She pushes hard, trying to open it, and the voice behind the door tells her she’s doing good, but she doesn’t manage to open it in the end. The door then disappears and she now finds herself in a desert and sees a small wolf covered in wounds and stained with blood all over his body. She runs to him and embrace him, seeing he’s still alive and breathing hard. When the cub opens his eyes, she sees his bright golden eyes. Chains start coming from the ground, trying to attack her and she tries to take the wolf away from danger by holding him up in her arms. When the chains wrap around her, the cub jumps from her arms and get in between the chains and her, protecting her but getting more wounds. When they disappear, Leah goes to the wolf crying. She a small voice in her head telling her that he would protect her, before waking up from the dream.

She wakes up crying, thinking about the small wolf and faces Ishakan’s golden eyes. She realizes they are the same. Bit of sweety hugging/kissing time, and she decides to tell Ishakan about the dream, about the small wolf that came in her dream, the fact that he protected her, that he had the same eyes as him, and that his fur, under the wounds and blood, was a bright silver fur. While Leah’s still worried about the wolf, Ishakan tells her not to worry with confidence. He hints that his blood is strong and that thanks to that, the wolf in her dreams is not going to die easily.

Ishakan then asks her about her health, if she has any idea of why she would be sick like this, and about the guys that came to the mansion. Leah tells him that she was given tea by Serdina, and that the mercenaries that came to the villa might be sent by Mirael.

After sleeping for a bit, she wakes up with Mura bringing her tons of food while Ishakan isn’t there anymore. When asking where he went, Mura’s quite evasive in her answer and tells her that she just has to eat well and wait for his return x’)

　。POV Morgan : Poor Morgan decides to eat a cow heart in order to gain more power to save Leah, such dedication :’) He even asked for Mura to season the heart with lots of spice, hoping that it would hide the taste a bit XD

Usually Kurkans don’t eat raw hearts, because it’s used for dark sorcery, but Morgan faced the truth and realized that Serdina was too strong for him. He didn’t want to depend on a possible third miracle and needed to strengthen himself.

We then see that he’s with other Kurkans, but also with Genin and Ishakan, in front of a beautiful mansion. Mirael’s mansion (This part is reaaaaal satysfing) Mirael’s feeling cold in her room, so she calls her maids to ask for a blanket, but no one comes in. She starts wondering why the mansion is so quiet and opens the door to the hallway. When seeing the scene in front of her, she stumbles back, falls down and faint. Only beheaded corpses remained in the hallway, blood drenching the floor and walls. Havan comes and put her in a bag. (ch114)

　。 POV Serdina : She’s drinking in her room, thinking about how neither Blaine nor Leah move as she intended. She then feels someone coming from behind her, and when looking back realizes that it’s Ishakan. She makes some disgusting allusion about why a man would visit a woman in her room in the middle of the night and tries to seduce him (what a wh*re XD) but Ishakan simply hits her when she comes to him ahaha She tries to use sorcery on him but it doesn’t work. He grabs her by the hair and pulls her up so that she doesn’t touch the ground and threaten her to not upset him anymore. He tells her he sent a nice gift to Blaine already but that it’s not the end, and she should look forward to the future. After he left, she runs outside of her room to Blaine’s room, seeing only beheaded gypsies on the way there. 　。POV Leah : She wakes up, Ishakan’s next to her but he smells of blood, so she asks if he’s hurt, which makes him laugh, as she’s the only one who would worry about him being hurt x’) He just tells her that he went and scolded the bad guys x’) He the suggests that they take a bath together :3 Ofc at first Leah’s embarrassed, she doesn’t get in and only put her legs in, but as Ishakan removes his clothes fully, she can’t help but stare at him ahaha It’s again a pretty sweet time, because of course, Ishakan manages to reach her and pull her with him in the bath x’) he also tells her happily that they will be going back to the desert the next day, and talk a bit about how she lost her memory under Serdina’s spell.

When they wake up the next day, Havan comes to tell them that Blaine has come to the villa with knights, and that he set fire to the whole orchard, encircling the villa with flames, letting only one path of exit. At first Ishakan tells Mura to take Leah somewhere safe. When Leah sees all the kurkans in front of the manor, facing Blaine and his knights, she decides to come back to them. Ishakan and Blaine taunt each other, and when Blaine can’t take it anymore, he calls for two ministers that were working with Leah before (the two were the only ones knowing and helping Leah about her plans with the slaves stuff) and hurts them in front of Leah. He threatens her that if she doesn’t come back, he’ll kill her ministers first, then the knights and finally kill himself in front of her. (I hate that f*uckin’ prick uuugh yeah go ahead, just kill yourself then §§§ )

Blaine : “The last thing I’ll do is take my life.”

He wasn’t lying. To Leah, who was white as a ghost, Blaine showed his bloody sword. His crazy voice echoed in her head.

“The one you love is dying, Leah…”

At that moment, a strong piercing sound rang in her ears. The sound of chains was followed by a headache, like her head was splitting. Leah covered her ears and shook her head painfully. Someone caught her as she was having a seizure. She lifted her head, tears rolling down her cheeks because of the pain and called the name of the man who seemed to suffer as much as herself.

“Ishakan…”

She thinks back on her action, her thought, her memory, and comes to the conclusion that if she ran away, she would never be able to break free from the chains, she would never be able to open the iron door in her dreams.

Leah : “If I leave Estia, can I get my memories back?”

Ishakan was silent. His golden pupils were dyed with dark emotions. Leah’s heart tightened. What was his relationship with her like? Why was she so attracted to him, like a burning flame? The name of a princess and her long love…

“You are in the memories I lost.”

Leah stood up straight. She got up on her own and looked at him.

“I will come back. I will definitely come back to you, so, for now…”

Ishakan was silent again for a long time after her words. When he finally opened his mouth, his voice was terribly low.

“I won’t give you much time. I will take you back on the wedding day.”

When he said he would let her go, Leah opened her eyes wide. But Ishakan’s words were not over.

“This time, it’s not a predatory marriage... I’m taking my wife back. “

His big hand hold Leah’s chin.

Blaine then drags Leah back with him. He tries to ask her what Mirael did to her, that made the kurkans kill her savagely, but she doesn’t answer and fight back. She’s going back to the Royal Palace for now but is still determined to return to Ishakan when everything’s over.

　。POV Kurkans : They look at Leah leaving with Blaine. Everyone is waiting for Ishakan to tell them to go back, even thought they know that they have to hurry, they simply wait for his words. Havan comes to him and instead of telling him that they should move, he asks Ishakan if he knew that Leah would go back. He did, and that’s why he didn’t kill Serdina and Blaine at the same time as Mirael and all the other gypsies. He knew that she would go back, wanting to get her memories back and save her country if possible. At the same time, he just wanted to take her back to the desert, for her to give birth safely to their child and live happily, but he knew it wasn’t possible.

Once again, we have insight from Ishakan’s mind, that show how much he’s devoted to Leah, that hurts :’(

He then tells the kurkans to move and go back to the royal palace.

As it was planned, they were going to help Leah regain her memories as much as possible. Looking at the orchard burning to ashes, Ishakan said.

“I let her go once…that doesn’t mean I will let her go twice.”

We learn that the potion she made Blaine drink and the one they gave to Leah when she was brought back were love potions. Blaine drank one with Leah’s hair, and Leah drank one with Blaine’s hair. That should have been powerful enough to make Leah submit, but it didn’t. Serdina then considers that Leah might be pregnant, because as the kurkans have better resilience to gypsy sorcery, if Leah’s pregnant with a kurkans’ child, that would explain why it’s difficult to make her submit. She still believes that Leah’s infertile, but just in case she gave her a kind of herbal tea that would induce miscarriage.

　。POV Leah : She’s dreaming about being chased by someone and running in direction of a huge iron gate, locked with a chain and a large lock. When she tries to open it, she can’t. She then hears a voice from behind the door, urging her to open it, warning her about being caught up by Serdina, that she’s going to kill her if she finds out.

Then she wakes up, with a stinging pain in the stomach. After a while, she calms down and touch her stomach again. She realizes that she felt something moving but doesn’t imagine what it could be.

(Btw I forgot to mention before, but when trying the wedding dresses, the tailor tells Leah that her waist size slightly increased. She also feels heavy from her belly, and she noticed that in the last two month or so she didn’t get her periods, but as it was irregular from the start, she doesn’t think more about it either.)

She thinks about Ishakan and Lady Cinnael, that something’s definitely wrong with her and that she has to figure it out. For now, she feels trapped and wants to go outside her room, but when trying to open her window, she finds out that she’s locked inside. Melissa tells her that Blaine ordered not to let her go outside anymore.

　。POV Mirael : We see the b*tch with a guy from the royal palace, telling her that Leah’s gonna be moved this day to a villa Blaine bought outside the city, and that she’ll be locked here until the wedding. She’s left, wondering and plotting something.

　。POV Leah : Blaine sends Leah forcefully to the villa, which is surrounded by a beautiful peach orchard. She feels frustrated because there are still many things to prepare for the wedding, but also fears that maybe Blaine noticed the change in her, and that’s the reason he sent her away. She throws her wedding ring on the bed, and starts thinking about lots of thing : Blaine’s attitude, her recent stomachaches that started after Serdina gave her herbal tea, the Kurkans…

After being locked up in the villa for a few days, she decides to write a memo in the middle of the night that she puts on the windowsill of her room, believing that Ishakan would be watching her and asking him for help. The next morning, the memo’s not there anymore, so she knows that he took it. She spends her day “as usual”, still drinking Serdina’s tea, and waits patiently for the night. As the night comes, while hopping that Ishakan would come, she suddenly hears noises and voices coming from the mansion. She gets that the maids or knights wouldn’t make such noise, neither would the kurkans, so she decides to flee from her room by the window, even though it’s the second floor. When standing on the windowsill, she sees Ishakan waiting under her window, looking up at her. She jumps in his open arms (I wish we could see that scene in a manhwa aww), just before people come into her room.

She tells him that she keeps thinking of him, every day, all day long and he tells her he’s the same. There’s a bit of sweet time, while the guys are supposed to come after her ahah x’)

She realizes that she might be in love with him, then calls him Isha, and tells him she wants to run away with him. (ch110) He tells her that he would do anything for her, he’s so desperate that even if she was to say that she loves someone else, he would take her with him. The next moment, she tries to hug him but suddenly grabs her stomach instead, feeling a sharp pain, like if someone was slicing her open. She feels and sees blood flowing down her legs and faints in Ishakan’s arms.

　。POV Mura, Havan, Genin : We see them killing the intruders in the mansion and they try to find a reason for why they were here. They hint that someone might have intended to hurt Leah so much that she would be ashamed to tell anyone (like you know, in Estia the bride’s chastity is very important, so Leah wouldn’t have been able to admit that she wasn’t a virgin anymore in case someone forced himself on her or sth like this… :/) They then reunite with Ishakan and when they see him in panic with Leah in his arms, they also start to panic as they see the blood flowing from her legs. Havan quickly goes to fetch Morgan while Mura takes care of stopping the blood first.

As Morgan examines Leah, he tells them that the cause of the bleeding could be a miscarriage, surprising everyone as they realize that Leah was pregnant, but scaring them more that she could have lost the baby. Hopefully, he finds that both Leah and the baby seem to be safe. (I legit shed a tear before reading that the baby was safe. THANKS AUTHOR ILY <3 )

He suggests that Leah’s body might have instinctively tried to protect the baby when drinking Serdina’s poison. As it’s considered a miracle that she became pregnant, and another miracle that the baby survived, they decide that they should do their utmost to protect her from now on, never leaving her future to chance again and not hoping for any more miracle. They will also keep it a secret from Leah, as her body’s in a bad condition and they don’t want to shake her anymore than she already is, dealing with her memories and stuff.

　。POV Leah : Again, she’s dreaming and finds herself in front of the iron door. She pushes hard, trying to open it, and the voice behind the door tells her she’s doing good, but she doesn’t manage to open it in the end. The door then disappears and she now finds herself in a desert and sees a small wolf covered in wounds and stained with blood all over his body. She runs to him and embrace him, seeing he’s still alive and breathing hard. When the cub opens his eyes, she sees his bright golden eyes. Chains start coming from the ground, trying to attack her and she tries to take the wolf away from danger by holding him up in her arms. When the chains wrap around her, the cub jumps from her arms and get in between the chains and her, protecting her but getting more wounds. When they disappear, Leah goes to the wolf crying. She a small voice in her head telling her that he would protect her, before waking up from the dream.

She wakes up crying, thinking about the small wolf and faces Ishakan’s golden eyes. She realizes they are the same. Bit of sweety hugging/kissing time, and she decides to tell Ishakan about the dream, about the small wolf that came in her dream, the fact that he protected her, that he had the same eyes as him, and that his fur, under the wounds and blood, was a bright silver fur. While Leah’s still worried about the wolf, Ishakan tells her not to worry with confidence. He hints that his blood is strong and that thanks to that, the wolf in her dreams is not going to die easily.

Ishakan then asks her about her health, if she has any idea of why she would be sick like this, and about the guys that came to the mansion. Leah tells him that she was given tea by Serdina, and that the mercenaries that came to the villa might be sent by Mirael.

After sleeping for a bit, she wakes up with Mura bringing her tons of food while Ishakan isn’t there anymore. When asking where he went, Mura’s quite evasive in her answer and tells her that she just has to eat well and wait for his return x’)

　。POV Morgan : Poor Morgan decides to eat a cow heart in order to gain more power to save Leah, such dedication :’) He even asked for Mura to season the heart with lots of spice, hoping that it would hide the taste a bit XD

Usually Kurkans don’t eat raw hearts, because it’s used for dark sorcery, but Morgan faced the truth and realized that Serdina was too strong for him. He didn’t want to depend on a possible third miracle and needed to strengthen himself.

We then see that he’s with other Kurkans, but also with Genin and Ishakan, in front of a beautiful mansion. Mirael’s mansion (This part is reaaaaal satysfing) Mirael’s feeling cold in her room, so she calls her maids to ask for a blanket, but no one comes in. She starts wondering why the mansion is so quiet and opens the door to the hallway. When seeing the scene in front of her, she stumbles back, falls down and faint. Ishakan then asks her about her health, if she has any idea of why she would be sick like this, and about the guys that came to the mansion. Leah tells him that she was given tea by Serdina, and that the mercenaries that came to the villa might be sent by Mirael.

After sleeping for a bit, she wakes up with Mura bringing her tons of food while Ishakan isn’t there anymore. When asking where he went, Mura’s quite evasive in her answer and tells her that she just has to eat well and wait for his return x’)

　。POV Morgan : Poor Morgan decides to eat a cow heart in order to gain more power to save Leah, such dedication :’) He even asked for Mura to season the heart with lots of spice, hoping that it would hide the taste a bit XD

Usually Kurkans don’t eat raw hearts, because it’s used for dark sorcery, but Morgan faced the truth and realized that Serdina was too strong for him. He didn’t want to depend on a possible third miracle and needed to strengthen himself.

We then see that he’s with other Kurkans, but also with Genin and Ishakan, in front of a beautiful mansion. Mirael’s mansion (This part is reaaaaal satysfing) Mirael’s feeling cold in her room, so she calls her maids to ask for a blanket, but no one comes in. She starts wondering why the mansion is so quiet and opens the door to the hallway. When seeing the scene in front of her, she stumbles back, falls down and faint. Only beheaded corpses remained in the hallway, blood drenching the floor and walls. Havan comes and put her in a bag. (ch114)

　。 POV Serdina : She’s drinking in her room, thinking about how neither Blaine nor Leah move as she intended. She then feels someone coming from behind her, and when looking back realizes that it’s Ishakan. She makes some disgusting allusion about why a man would visit a woman in her room in the middle of the night and tries to seduce him (what a wh*re XD) but Ishakan simply hits her when she comes to him ahaha She tries to use sorcery on him but it doesn’t work. He grabs her by the hair and pulls her up so that she doesn’t touch the ground and threaten her to not upset him anymore. He tells her he sent a nice gift to Blaine already but that it’s not the end, and she should look forward to the future. After he left, she runs outside of her room to Blaine’s room, seeing only beheaded gypsies on the way there. When she enters his room, she finds several men’s head placed on the bed, and in the middle rests Mirael’s head. Blaine calls to her, screaming and asking what it is that she did that made this happen, but she doesn’t answer anything.

　。POV Leah : She wakes up, Ishakan’s next to her but he smells of blood, so she asks if he’s hurt, which makes him laugh, as she’s the only one who would worry about him being hurt x’) He just tells her that he went and scolded the bad guys x’) He the suggests that they take a bath together :3 Ofc at first Leah’s embarrassed, she doesn’t get in and only put her legs in, but as Ishakan removes his clothes fully, she can’t help but stare at him ahaha It’s again a pretty sweet time, because of course, Ishakan manages to reach her and pull her with him in the bath x’) he also tells her happily that they will be going back to the desert the next day, and talk a bit about how she lost her memory under Serdina’s spell.

When they wake up the next day, Havan comes to tell them that Blaine has come to the villa with knights, and that he set fire to the whole orchard, encircling the villa with flames, letting only one path of exit. At first Ishakan tells Mura to take Leah somewhere safe. When Leah sees all the kurkans in front of the manor, facing Blaine and his knights, she decides to come back to them. Ishakan and Blaine taunt each other, and when Blaine can’t take it anymore, he calls for two ministers that were working with Leah before (the two were the only ones knowing and helping Leah about her plans with the slaves stuff) and hurts them in front of Leah. He threatens her that if she doesn’t come back, he’ll kill her ministers first, then the knights and finally kill himself in front of her. (I hate that f*uckin’ prick uuugh yeah go ahead, just kill yourself then §§§ )

Blaine : “The last thing I’ll do is take my life.”

He wasn’t lying. To Leah, who was white as a ghost, Blaine showed his bloody sword. His crazy voice echoed in her head.

“The one you love is dying, Leah…”

At that moment, a strong piercing sound rang in her ears. The sound of chains was followed by a headache, like her head was splitting. Leah covered her ears and shook her head painfully. Someone caught her as she was having a seizure. She lifted her head, tears rolling down her cheeks because of the pain and called the name of the man who seemed to suffer as much as herself.

“Ishakan…”

She thinks back on her action, her thought, her memory, and comes to the conclusion that if she ran away, she would never be able to break free from the chains, she would never be able to open the iron door in her dreams.

Leah : “If I leave Estia, can I get my memories back?”

“…”

Ishakan was silent. His golden pupils were dyed with dark emotions. Leah’s heart tightened. What was his relationship with her like? Why was she so attracted to him, like a burning flame? The name of a princess and her long love…

“You are in the memories I lost.”

Leah stood up straight. She got up on her own and looked at him.

“I will come back. I will definitely come back to you, so, for now…”

Please let me go.

Ishakan was silent again for a long time after her words. When he finally opened his mouth, his voice was terribly low.

“You always tested my patience…You did it before. There was never an easy way to catch you.”

Ishakan caressed Leah’s face. His fingertips rubbed her lashes and cheeks, wet with tears.

“I have never been defeted…”

He said bitterly.

“But I can’t win this time”

The man speaking of defeat was unfamiliar. Perhaps he was also speaking like this for the first time in his life. The cool golden pupils stared at Leah.

“I won’t give you much time. I will take you back on the wedding day.”

When he said he would let her go, Leah opened her eyes wide. But Ishakan’s words were not over.

“This time, it’s not a predatory marriage... I’m taking my wife back. “

His big hand hold Leah’s chin.

“It’s useless to say no when the time comes. I won’t hear your crying or begging, Leah.” (end of ch117)

Blaine then drags Leah back with him. He tries to ask her what Mirael did to her, that made the kurkans kill her savagely, but she doesn’t answer and fight back. She’s going back to the Royal Palace for now but is still determined to return to Ishakan when everything’s over.

　。POV Kurkans : They look at Leah leaving with Blaine. Everyone is waiting for Ishakan to tell them to go back, even thought they know that they have to hurry, they simply wait for his words. Havan comes to him and instead of telling him that they should move, he asks Ishakan if he knew that Leah would go back. He did, and that’s why he didn’t kill Serdina and Blaine at the same time as Mirael and all the other gypsies. He knew that she would go back, wanting to get her memories back and save her country if possible. At the same time, he just wanted to take her back to the desert, for her to give birth safely to their child and live happily, but he knew it wasn’t possible.

Once again, we have insight from Ishakan’s mind, that show how much he’s devoted to Leah, that hurts :’(

He then tells the kurkans to move and go back to the royal palace.

As it was planned, they were going to help Leah regain her memories as much as possible. Looking at the orchard burning to ashes, Ishakan said.

“I let her go once…that doesn’t mean I will let her go twice.”

　。POV Serdina : She’s in a really bad state ugh, wandering in the palace and as she realizes Ishakan’s insensitive to her sorcery, she decides to eat all of the dead gypsies’s heart to obtain more power, in order to kill him. (end of ch118)

　。POV Serdina : She meets with Mirael and tells her that she’ll help her get it on with Blaine and sends her away. In fact, she doesn’t plan to help her at all, because she wants Blaine to treat women like object, for him to take them and throw them out as he wishes. She’s furious each time she sees how much Blaine loves Leah, still she has to make it so that Leah submit her heart to him. She admits that it seems difficult to completely control her.

We learn that the potion she made Blaine drink and the one they gave to Leah when she was brought back were love potions. Blaine drank one with Leah’s hair, and Leah drank one with Blaine’s hair. That should have been powerful enough to make Leah submit, but it didn’t. Serdina then considers that Leah might be pregnant, because as the kurkans have better resilience to gypsy sorcery, if Leah’s pregnant with a kurkans’ child, that would explain why it’s difficult to make her submit. She still believes that Leah’s infertile, but just in case she gave her a kind of herbal tea that would induce miscarriage.

　。POV Leah : She’s dreaming about being chased by someone and running in direction of a huge iron gate, locked with a chain and a large lock. When she tries to open it, she can’t. She then hears a voice from behind the door, urging her to open it, warning her about being caught up by Serdina, that she’s going to kill her if she finds out.

Then she wakes up, with a stinging pain in the stomach. After a while, she calms down and touch her stomach again. She realizes that she felt something moving but doesn’t imagine what it could be.

(Btw I forgot to mention before, but when trying the wedding dresses, the tailor tells Leah that her waist size slightly increased. She also feels heavy from her belly, and she noticed that in the last two month or so she didn’t get her periods, but as it was irregular from the start, she doesn’t think more about it either.)

She thinks about Ishakan and Lady Cinnael, that something’s definitely wrong with her and that she has to figure it out. For now, she feels trapped and wants to go outside her room, but when trying to open her window, she finds out that she’s locked inside. Melissa tells her that Blaine ordered not to let her go outside anymore.

　。POV Mirael : We see the b*tch with a guy from the royal palace, telling her that Leah’s gonna be moved this day to a villa Blaine bought outside the city, and that she’ll be locked here until the wedding. She’s left, wondering and plotting something.

　。POV Leah : Blaine sends Leah forcefully to the villa, which is surrounded by a beautiful peach orchard. She feels frustrated because there are still many things to prepare for the wedding, but also fears that maybe Blaine noticed the change in her, and that’s the reason he sent her away. She throws her wedding ring on the bed, and starts thinking about lots of thing : Blaine’s attitude, her recent stomachaches that started after Serdina gave her herbal tea, the Kurkans…

After being locked up in the villa for a few days, she decides to write a memo in the middle of the night that she puts on the windowsill of her room, believing that Ishakan would be watching her and asking him for help. The next morning, the memo’s not there anymore, so she knows that he took it. She spends her day “as usual”, still drinking Serdina’s tea, and waits patiently for the night. As the night comes, while hopping that Ishakan would come, she suddenly hears noises and voices coming from the mansion. She gets that the maids or knights wouldn’t make such noise, neither would the kurkans, so she decides to flee from her room by the window, even though it’s the second floor. When standing on the windowsill, she sees Ishakan waiting under her window, looking up at her. She jumps in his open arms (I wish we could see that scene in a manhwa aww), just before people come into her room.

She tells him that she keeps thinking of him, every day, all day long and he tells her he’s the same. There’s a bit of sweet time, while the guys are supposed to come after her ahah x’)

She realizes that she might be in love with him, then calls him Isha, and tells him she wants to run away with him. (ch110) He tells her that he would do anything for her, he’s so desperate that even if she was to say that she loves someone else, he would take her with him. The next moment, she tries to hug him but suddenly grabs her stomach instead, feeling a sharp pain, like if someone was slicing her open. She feels and sees blood flowing down her legs and faints in Ishakan’s arms.

　。POV Mura, Havan, Genin : We see them killing the intruders in the mansion and they try to find a reason for why they were here. They hint that someone might have intended to hurt Leah so much that she would be ashamed to tell anyone (like you know, in Estia the bride’s chastity is very important, so Leah wouldn’t have been able to admit that she wasn’t a virgin anymore in case someone forced himself on her or sth like this… :/) They then reunite with Ishakan and when they see him in panic with Leah in his arms, they also start to panic as they see the blood flowing from her legs. Havan quickly goes to fetch Morgan while Mura takes care of stopping the blood first.

As Morgan examines Leah, he tells them that the cause of the bleeding could be a miscarriage, surprising everyone as they realize that Leah was pregnant, but scaring them more that she could have lost the baby. Hopefully, he finds that both Leah and the baby seem to be safe. (I legit shed a tear before reading that the baby was safe. THANKS AUTHOR ILY <3 )

He suggests that Leah’s body might have instinctively tried to protect the baby when drinking Serdina’s poison. As it’s considered a miracle that she became pregnant, and another miracle that the baby survived, they decide that they should do their utmost to protect her from now on, never leaving her future to chance again and not hoping for any more miracle. They will also keep it a secret from Leah, as her body’s in a bad condition and they don’t want to shake her anymore than she already is, dealing with her memories and stuff.

　。POV Leah : Again, she’s dreaming and finds herself in front of the iron door. She pushes hard, trying to open it, and the voice behind the door tells her she’s doing good, but she doesn’t manage to open it in the end. The door then disappears and she now finds herself in a desert and sees a small wolf covered in wounds and stained with blood all over his body. She runs to him and embrace him, seeing he’s still alive and breathing hard. When the cub opens his eyes, she sees his bright golden eyes. Chains start coming from the ground, trying to attack her and she tries to take the wolf away from danger by holding him up in her arms. When the chains wrap around her, the cub jumps from her arms and get in between the chains and her, protecting her but getting more wounds. When they disappear, Leah goes to the wolf crying. She a small voice in her head telling her that he would protect her, before waking up from the dream.

She wakes up crying, thinking about the small wolf and faces Ishakan’s golden eyes. She realizes they are the same. Bit of sweety hugging/kissing time, and she decides to tell Ishakan about the dream, about the small wolf that came in her dream, the fact that he protected her, that he had the same eyes as him, and that his fur, under the wounds and blood, was a bright silver fur. Yes! Im glad that b*tch mireal puppet is dead and that Cerdina disgusting pig trying to seduce Ishakan yuckk! Oh poor Isha! My heart! No Leah don't leave him but yes she has to face her fears and break free from Estia's influence. I hope Morgan comes with a remedy soon.

Here you go, up to 125 that came out today o/ Exams starting next week until beginning of July, so I might not update much for the next chapters x')
Gosh I'm in love with Ishakan, he's just aaah XD

　。POV Leah : She’s back to the Royal Palace, and things seems stranger to her. She realizes that no one talks about what happened at the peach orchard and that Mirael’s missing. Serdina is also being too quiet in her view. Leah guesses that there is something going on with the gypsies in the capital and decides to go check for herself by visiting Lady Cinnael. On the way, she meets a gypsy that tries to sell her flowers. The gypsy tells her that she’s the one who made the drug Byunbaek gave Leah (it was around ch20-22) and apologizes for it, which triggers a memory and gives Leah a headache (the memory from when Ishakan took her out the palace the first time, they were in a dark alley and they saw Byunbaek flirting with gypsies). The gypsy also hints that she saws the future (not sure about that tho XD), she tells Leah that not all gypsies are following Serdina and begs to “The queen of Kurkans” to remember her and be merciful when the “day of judgment” comes. She then gives Leah the flower basket, that contains a potion hidden inside, telling her that it will help.

Leah doesn’t find Lady Cinnael and decides to go somewhere else in town, to a small tea house. When left alone on the 2nd floor, she fakes illness, and Havan comes out the ceiling, worrying about her x’) They talk a bit about Ishakan and finally Leah asks him to come with her in town tonight. She goes to the place she remembered when meeting the gypsy earlier, but it leaves her disappointed as no real memory comes back. Then by chance, they happen to see Byunbaek going into a dark alley, and coming back shortly after, followed by crying and screaming gypsies. Havan immediately covers her eyes, she can only hear the sound of bones cracking and smell the blood. When he removes his hands, Leah can see Ishakan on top of the gypsies bodies, looking at her coldly.

We learn that Byunbaek went to the gypsies to ask about the potion Leah gave him before (when they kidnapped him in the desert, around ch 85), serves him right XD Ishakan tells Leah and Havan to come out, he kinda blames Havan that hurriedly tells him “She didn’t see anything! I immediately covered her eyes! But… I couldn’t block the screams or sounds…” The air is quite tense between Ishakan and Leah, when he starts to leave, she calls after him and only manages to tell him about the potion she received earlier from the gypsy. He looks back at her with cold eyes and simply tells her to give it to Havan to bring to Morgan later. She then tells him that he should give her more palm dates, as she finished already. Finally, after hesitating, she admits that she missed him and that she’s trying hard to remember everything.

Leah : “I am trying hard to get my memories back. I came here tonight because some came back…”

Instead of finishing her sentence, Leah looked at Havan. It was because he was waving his arms from behind from the other side. Behind Ishakan, so that he could not see, Havan mouthed some words.

Ask him for help !

Leah hesitated for a moment. In reality, she was trying to solve everything by herself, without Ishakan’s help, but the words came out first.

“Anyway, I’m feeling a bit lost alone… Ishakan. No, without you…”

She glanced behind him, seeing Havan nodding eagerly. Next to him, Genin was also silently clapping.

“Could you help me?” (GOSH I love Genin and Havan ahaha <3 )

He accepts and Leah asks him if he knows about the gypsies inside the palace. He tells her that Serdina’s a gypsy and Leah decides that they have to go see Count Welton, Serdina’s father. She wants to make him reveal that Serdina’s a gypsy, hoping that it would shake a bit the enchanted people and make them wonder about the weirdness of the situation.

Naturally, Ishakan tried to find out how he could threaten Count Welton. But Leah realized that no matter what she thought about, she couldn’t follow Ishakan’s thoughts. He looked back towards Byunbaek. Then the Kurkans who where watching from behind suddenly looked with anxiety. They gathered around Ishakan and muttered.

“The baby…! You have to think about your baby…!”

“You can’t just bring someone’s head to his bedroom”

“She’ll be scared if you do that!”

Baby? Bringing someone’s head to the bedroom? Are they going to cut and bring something like a fish head? While Leah was wondering about their words, Ishakan frowned deeply. (They are so funny XD)

He then decides to go to Count Welton immediately and picks Leah up x’) They arrive at his mansion, there is again a bit of heavy air between them, and they awkwardly call each other’s’ name at the same time which lead to more awkwardness for Leah. Ishakan then comes close to her and kisses her, awkward-sweet times, leading to Leah feeling weird in her stomach, and when touching it, she feels something moving inside her. She starts to panic, telling Ishakan that she may be sick, or it might have to do with sorcery, but after pondering for a bit, he decides to tell her she’s pregnant.

Ishakan sighed deeply. Hesitating to speak, he opened his mouth with difficulty.

“Don’t be too surprised. You are pregnant.”

Leah blinked a couple of times. And only after a long time she said.

“…Yes?”

She wasn’t surprised. To be precise, she thought it was so unrealistic and utter nonsense that it didn’t even come to her as a possible truth. Leah asked. (not sure about that part >.<)

“How?”

“The two of us worked hard for it.”

“Yes? So, Ishakan, you and me…?”

Ishakan bowed his head. He came close to her, so that their noses were touching. Leah held her breath unconsciously. With her eyes wide open, she looked at his lips opening slowly in front of her.

His sharp eyes were bent. He whispered with a smile.

Her back was against the wall. Ishakan put his hand on it, next to her head, his body coming closer and closer to her.

Leah thinks back about the night Ishakan brought her to the inn, touching her as if he knew everything about her, then she sees glimpses of memories. Ishakan the catch sight of a wagon arriving to the mansion and they see Blaine and the Count Welton coming out of it and entering the mansion.

　。POV Count Welton : He goes with Blaine to see a bunch of gypsies that are crying about how Serdina ate their brothers and sisters heart, how she is insane blablabla

Blaine tells them that after his wedding, the country will be theirs. He then asks for more gypsies able to do sorcery and tells them to go to the Royal Palace the day after. Going back with Count Welton in a salon to get a drink, we learn that Blaine plans to kill more gypsies to give their hearts to Serdina.

Count Welton then brings Blaine in another room, to a prostitute that closely resemble Leah, leaves him with her and goes back to the salon. There he finds Leah and Ishakan waiting for him on the sofa. Leah asks him to testify that Serdina’s a gypsy, telling him that she already has her memory back and that Serdina doesn’t care a bit about him, only about Blaine blabla

　。POV Leah : After speaking with Count Welton, they leave the salon to go back to the palace. Leah learns that Ishakan killed Mirael, and he tells her that he didn’t only kill her and that if the Count were to refuse their demand, he would have to kill him. It’s raining outside so Ishakan tells her to wait for the rain to stop, as she’s pregnant and he doesn’t want her to go outside in the cold and get wet. They search for a guest room, but Ishakan suddenly pulls her in the nearest room, which happens to be a small storehouse and covers her mouth.

They can then hear Blaine calling Leah’s name and coming their way, and reflexively Leah’s body hardens, and she starts to cry, wanting to go out and meet him (f*cking brainwash). Following his voice, they hear the prostitute, acting as if she was Leah. Blaine and the prostitute start to make out in the hallway, and Ishakan and Leah have to listen to it all, which is pretty disgusting as Blaine’s a real asshole, talking dirty and looking down on the prostitute.

After a while, Leah starts imagining what it would be if it was her and Ishakan, and she pulls him into a kiss, telling him that she wants to do more with him.

Smexy times incoming, as they leave the storage when not hearing Blaine and the girl anymore, and finally enter a guest room. At the end of ch125, they’re on the bed and just ended up in 69 o/ (end of ch125)

　。POV Serdina : She meets with Mirael and tells her that she’ll help her get it on with Blaine and sends her away. In fact, she doesn’t plan to help her at all, because she wants Blaine to treat women like object, for him to take them and throw them out as he wishes. She’s furious each time she sees how much Blaine loves Leah, still she has to make it so that Leah submit her heart to him. She admits that it seems difficult to completely control her.

We learn that the potion she made Blaine drink and the one they gave to Leah when she was brought back were love potions. Blaine drank one with Leah’s hair, and Leah drank one with Blaine’s hair. That should have been powerful enough to make Leah submit, but it didn’t. Serdina then considers that Leah might be pregnant, because as the kurkans have better resilience to gypsy sorcery, if Leah’s pregnant with a kurkans’ child, that would explain why it’s difficult to make her submit. She still believes that Leah’s infertile, but just in case she gave her a kind of herbal tea that would induce miscarriage.

　。POV Leah : She’s dreaming about being chased by someone and running in direction of a huge iron gate, locked with a chain and a large lock. When she tries to open it, she can’t. She then hears a voice from behind the door, urging her to open it, warning her about being caught up by Serdina, that she’s going to kill her if she finds out.

Then she wakes up, with a stinging pain in the stomach. After a while, she calms down and touch her stomach again. She realizes that she felt something moving but doesn’t imagine what it could be.

(Btw I forgot to mention before, but when trying the wedding dresses, the tailor tells Leah that her waist size slightly increased. She also feels heavy from her belly, and she noticed that in the last two month or so she didn’t get her periods, but as it was irregular from the start, she doesn’t think more about it either.)

She thinks about Ishakan and Lady Cinnael, that something’s definitely wrong with her and that she has to figure it out. For now, she feels trapped and wants to go outside her room, but when trying to open her window, she finds out that she’s locked inside. Melissa tells her that Blaine ordered not to let her go outside anymore.

　。POV Mirael : We see the b*tch with a guy from the royal palace, telling her that Leah’s gonna be moved this day to a villa Blaine bought outside the city, and that she’ll be locked here until the wedding. She’s left, wondering and plotting something.

　。POV Leah : Blaine sends Leah forcefully to the villa, which is surrounded by a beautiful peach orchard. She feels frustrated because there are still many things to prepare for the wedding, but also fears that maybe Blaine noticed the change in her, and that’s the reason he sent her away. She throws her wedding ring on the bed, and starts thinking about lots of thing : Blaine’s attitude, her recent stomachaches that started after Serdina gave her herbal tea, the Kurkans…

After being locked up in the villa for a few days, she decides to write a memo in the middle of the night that she puts on the windowsill of her room, believing that Ishakan would be watching her and asking him for help. The next morning, the memo’s not there anymore, so she knows that he took it. She spends her day “as usual”, still drinking Serdina’s tea, and waits patiently for the night. As the night comes, while hopping that Ishakan would come, she suddenly hears noises and voices coming from the mansion. She gets that the maids or knights wouldn’t make such noise, neither would the kurkans, so she decides to flee from her room by the window, even though it’s the second floor. When standing on the windowsill, she sees Ishakan waiting under her window, looking up at her. She jumps in his open arms (I wish we could see that scene in a manhwa aww), just before people come into her room.

She tells him that she keeps thinking of him, every day, all day long and he tells her he’s the same. There’s a bit of sweet time, while the guys are supposed to come after her ahah x’)

She realizes that she might be in love with him, then calls him Isha, and tells him she wants to run away with him. (ch110) He tells her that he would do anything for her, he’s so desperate that even if she was to say that she loves someone else, he would take her with him. The next moment, she tries to hug him but suddenly grabs her stomach instead, feeling a sharp pain, like if someone was slicing her open. She feels and sees blood flowing down her legs and faints in Ishakan’s arms.

　。POV Mura, Havan, Genin : We see them killing the intruders in the mansion and they try to find a reason for why they were here. They hint that someone might have intended to hurt Leah so much that she would be ashamed to tell anyone (like you know, in Estia the bride’s chastity is very important, so Leah wouldn’t have been able to admit that she wasn’t a virgin anymore in case someone forced himself on her or sth like this… :/) They then reunite with Ishakan and when they see him in panic with Leah in his arms, they also start to panic as they see the blood flowing from her legs. Havan quickly goes to fetch Morgan while Mura takes care of stopping the blood first.

As Morgan examines Leah, he tells them that the cause of the bleeding could be a miscarriage, surprising everyone as they realize that Leah was pregnant, but scaring them more that she could have lost the baby. Hopefully, he finds that both Leah and the baby seem to be safe. (I legit shed a tear before reading that the baby was safe. THANKS AUTHOR ILY <3 )

He suggests that Leah’s body might have instinctively tried to protect the baby when drinking Serdina’s poison. As it’s considered a miracle that she became pregnant, and another miracle that the baby survived, they decide that they should do their utmost to protect her from now on, never leaving her future to chance again and not hoping for any more miracle. They will also keep it a secret from Leah, as her body’s in a bad condition and they don’t want to shake her anymore than she already is, dealing with her memories and stuff.

　。POV Leah : Again, she’s dreaming and finds herself in front of the iron door. She pushes hard, trying to open it, and the voice behind the door tells her she’s doing good, but she doesn’t manage to open it in the end. The door then disappears and she now finds herself in a desert and sees a small wolf covered in wounds and stained with blood all over his body. She runs to him and embrace him, seeing he’s still alive and breathing hard. When the cub opens his eyes, she sees his bright golden eyes. Chains start coming from the ground, trying to attack her and she tries to take the wolf away from danger by holding him up in her arms. When the chains wrap around her, the cub jumps from her arms and get in between the chains and her, protecting her but getting more wounds. When they disappear, Leah goes to the wolf crying. She a small voice in her head telling her that he would protect her, before waking up from the dream.

She wakes up crying, thinking about the small wolf and faces Ishakan’s golden eyes. She realizes they are the same. Bit of sweety hugging/kissing time, and she decides to tell Ishakan about the dream, about the small wolf that came in her dream, the fact that he protected her, that he had the same eyes as him, and that his fur, under the wounds and blood, was a bright silver fur. While Leah’s still worried about the wolf, Ishakan tells her not to worry with confidence. He hints that his blood is strong and that thanks to that, the wolf in her dreams is not going to die easily.

Ishakan then asks her about her health, if she has any idea of why she would be sick like this, and about the guys that came to the mansion. Leah tells him that she was given tea by Serdina, and that the mercenaries that came to the villa might be sent by Mirael.

After sleeping for a bit, she wakes up with Mura bringing her tons of food while Ishakan isn’t there anymore. When asking where he went, Mura’s quite evasive in her answer and tells her that she just has to eat well and wait for his return x’)

　。POV Morgan : Poor Morgan decides to eat a cow heart in order to gain more power to save Leah, such dedication :’) He even asked for Mura to season the heart with lots of spice, hoping that it would hide the taste a bit XD

Usually Kurkans don’t eat raw hearts, because it’s used for dark sorcery, but Morgan faced the truth and realized that Serdina was too strong for him. He didn’t want to depend on a possible third miracle and needed to strengthen himself.

We then see that he’s with other Kurkans, but also with Genin and Ishakan, in front of a beautiful mansion. Mirael’s mansion (This part is reaaaaal satysfing) Mirael’s feeling cold in her room, so she calls her maids to ask for a blanket, but no one comes in. She starts wondering why the mansion is so quiet and opens the door to the hallway. When seeing the scene in front of her, she stumbles back, falls down and faint. Only beheaded corpses remained in the hallway, blood drenching the floor and walls. Havan comes and put her in a bag. (ch114)

　。 POV Serdina : She’s drinking in her room, thinking about how neither Blaine nor Leah move as she intended. She then feels someone coming from behind her, and when looking back realizes that it’s Ishakan. Blaine calls to her, screaming and asking what it is that she did that made this happen, but she doesn’t answer anything.

　。POV Leah : She wakes up, Ishakan’s next to her but he smells of blood, so she asks if he’s hurt, which makes him laugh, as she’s the only one who would worry about him being hurt x’) He just tells her that he went and scolded the bad guys x’) He the suggests that they take a bath together :3 Ofc at first Leah’s embarrassed, she doesn’t get in and only put her legs in, but as Ishakan removes his clothes fully, she can’t help but stare at him ahaha It’s again a pretty sweet time, because of course, Ishakan manages to reach her and pull her with him in the bath x’) he also tells her happily that they will be going back to the desert the next day, and talk a bit about how she lost her memory under Serdina’s spell.

When they wake up the next day, Havan comes to tell them that Blaine has come to the villa with knights, and that he set fire to the whole orchard, encircling the villa with flames, letting only one path of exit. At first Ishakan tells Mura to take Leah somewhere safe. When Leah sees all the kurkans in front of the manor, facing Blaine and his knights, she decides to come back to them. Ishakan and Blaine taunt each other, and when Blaine can’t take it anymore, he calls for two ministers that were working with Leah before (the two were the only ones knowing and helping Leah about her plans with the slaves stuff) and hurts them in front of Leah. He threatens her that if she doesn’t come back, he’ll kill her ministers first, then the knights and finally kill himself in front of her. (I hate that f*uckin’ prick uuugh yeah go ahead, just kill yourself then §§§ )

Blaine : “The last thing I’ll do is take my life.”

He wasn’t lying. To Leah, who was white as a ghost, Blaine showed his bloody sword. His crazy voice echoed in her head.

“The one you love is dying, Leah…”

At that moment, a strong piercing sound rang in her ears. The sound of chains was followed by a headache, like her head was splitting. Leah covered her ears and shook her head painfully. Someone caught her as she was having a seizure. She lifted her head, tears rolling down her cheeks because of the pain and called the name of the man who seemed to suffer as much as herself.

“Ishakan…”

She thinks back on her action, her thought, her memory, and comes to the conclusion that if she ran away, she would never be able to break free from the chains, she would never be able to open the iron door in her dreams.

Leah : “If I leave Estia, can I get my memories back?”

“…”

Ishakan was silent. His golden pupils were dyed with dark emotions. Leah’s heart tightened. What was his relationship with her like? Why was she so attracted to him, like a burning flame? The name of a princess and her long love…

“You are in the memories I lost.”

Leah stood up straight. She got up on her own and looked at him.

“I will come back. I will definitely come back to you, so, for now…”

Please let me go.

Ishakan was silent again for a long time after her words. When he finally opened his mouth, his voice was terribly low.

“You always tested my patience…You did it before. There was never an easy way to catch you.”

Ishakan caressed Leah’s face. His fingertips rubbed her lashes and cheeks, wet with tears.

“I have never been defeted…”

He said bitterly.

“But I can’t win this time”

The man speaking of defeat was unfamiliar. Perhaps he was also speaking like this for the first time in his life. The cool golden pupils stared at Leah.

“I won’t give you much time. I will take you back on the wedding day.”

When he said he would let her go, Leah opened her eyes wide. But Ishakan’s words were not over.

“This time, it’s not a predatory marriage... I’m taking my wife back. “

His big hand hold Leah’s chin.

“It’s useless to say no when the time comes. I won’t hear your crying or begging, Leah.” (end of ch117)

Blaine then drags Leah back with him. He tries to ask her what Mirael did to her, that made the kurkans kill her savagely, but she doesn’t answer and fight back. She’s going back to the Royal Palace for now but is still determined to return to Ishakan when everything’s over.

　。POV Kurkans : They look at Leah leaving with Blaine. Everyone is waiting for Ishakan to tell them to go back, even thought they know that they have to hurry, they simply wait for his words. Havan comes to him and instead of telling him that they should move, he asks Ishakan if he knew that Leah would go back. He did, and that’s why he didn’t kill Serdina and Blaine at the same time as Mirael and all the other gypsies. He knew that she would go back, wanting to get her memories back and save her country if possible. At the same time, he just wanted to take her back to the desert, for her to give birth safely to their child and live happily, but he knew it wasn’t possible.

Once again, we have insight from Ishakan’s mind, that show how much he’s devoted to Leah, that hurts :’(

He then tells the kurkans to move and go back to the royal palace.

As it was planned, they were going to help Leah regain her memories as much as possible. Looking at the orchard burning to ashes, Ishakan said.

“I let her go once…that doesn’t mean I will let her go twice.”

　。POV Serdina : She’s in a really bad state ugh, wandering in the palace and as she realizes Ishakan’s insensitive to her sorcery, she decides to eat all of the dead gypsies’s heart to obtain more power, in order to kill him. (end of ch118)

She starts wondering why the mansion is so quiet and opens the door to the hallway. When seeing the scene in front of her, she stumbles back, falls down and faint. Only beheaded corpses remained in the hallway, blood drenching the floor and walls. Havan comes and put her in a bag. (ch114)

　。 POV Serdina : She’s drinking in her room, thinking about how neither Blaine nor Leah move as she intended. She then feels someone coming from behind her, and when looking back realizes that it’s Ishakan. She makes some disgusting allusion about why a man would visit a woman in her room in the middle of the night and tries to seduce him (what a wh*re XD) but Ishakan simply hits her when she comes to him ahaha She tries to use sorcery on him but it doesn’t work. He grabs her by the hair and pulls her up so that she doesn’t touch the ground and threaten her to not upset him anymore. He tells her he sent a nice gift to Blaine already but that it’s not the end, and she should look forward to the future. After he left, she runs outside of her room to Blaine’s room, seeing only beheaded gypsies on the way there. When she enters his room, she finds several men’s head placed on the bed, and in the middle rests Mirael’s head. Blaine calls to her, screaming and asking what it is that she did that made this happen, but she doesn’t answer anything.

　。POV Leah : She wakes up, Ishakan’s next to her but he smells of blood, so she asks if he’s hurt, which makes him laugh, as she’s the only one who would worry about him being hurt x’) He just tells her that he went and scolded the bad guys x’) He the suggests that they take a bath together :3 Ofc at first Leah’s embarrassed, she doesn’t get in and only put her legs in, but as Ishakan removes his clothes fully, she can’t help but stare at him ahaha It’s again a pretty sweet time, because of course, Ishakan manages to reach her and pull her with him in the bath x’) he also tells her happily that they will be going back to the desert the next day, and talk a bit about how she lost her memory under Serdina’s spell.

When they wake up the next day, Havan comes to tell them that Blaine has come to the villa with knights, and that he set fire to the whole orchard, encircling the villa with flames, letting only one path of exit. At first Ishakan tells Mura to take Leah somewhere safe. When Leah sees all the kurkans in front of the manor, facing Blaine and his knights, she decides to come back to them. Ishakan and Blaine taunt each other, and when Blaine can’t take it anymore, he calls for two ministers that were working with Leah before (the two were the only ones knowing and helping Leah about her plans with the slaves stuff) and hurts them in front of Leah. He threatens her that if she doesn’t come back, he’ll kill her ministers first, then the knights and finally kill himself in front of her. (I hate that f*uckin’ prick uuugh yeah go ahead, just kill yourself then §§§ )

Blaine : “The last thing I’ll do is take my life.”

He wasn’t lying. To Leah, who was white as a ghost, Blaine showed his bloody sword. His crazy voice echoed in her head.

“The one you love is dying, Leah…”

At that moment, a strong piercing sound rang in her ears. The sound of chains was followed by a headache, like her head was splitting. Leah covered her ears and shook her head painfully. Someone caught her as she was having a seizure. She lifted her head, tears rolling down her cheeks because of the pain and called the name of the man who seemed to suffer as much as herself.

“Ishakan…”

She thinks back on her action, her thought, her memory, and comes to the conclusion that if she ran away, she would never be able to break free from the chains, she would never be able to open the iron door in her dreams.

Leah : “If I leave Estia, can I get my memories back?”

“…”

Ishakan was silent. His golden pupils were dyed with dark emotions. Leah’s heart tightened. What was his relationship with her like? Why was she so attracted to him, like a burning flame? The name of a princess and her long love…

“You are in the memories I lost.”

Leah stood up straight. She got up on her own and looked at him.

“I will come back. I will definitely come back to you, so, for now…”

Please let me go.

Ishakan was silent again for a long time after her words. When he finally opened his mouth, his voice was terribly low.

“You always tested my patience…You did it before. There was never an easy way to catch you.”

Ishakan caressed Leah’s face. His fingertips rubbed her lashes and cheeks, wet with tears.

“I have never been defeted…”

He said bitterly.

“But I can’t win this time”

The man speaking of defeat was unfamiliar. Perhaps he was also speaking like this for the first time in his life. The cool golden pupils stared at Leah.

“I won’t give you much time. I will take you back on the wedding day.”

When he said he would let her go, Leah opened her eyes wide. But Ishakan’s words were not over.

“This time, it’s not a predatory marriage... I’m taking my wife back. “

His big hand hold Leah’s chin.

“It’s useless to say no when the time comes. I won’t hear your crying or begging, Leah.” (end of ch117)

Blaine then drags Leah back with him. He tries to ask her what Mirael did to her, that made the kurkans kill her savagely, but she doesn’t answer and fight back. She’s going back to the Royal Palace for now but is still determined to return to Ishakan when everything’s over.

　。POV Kurkans : They look at Leah leaving with Blaine. Everyone is waiting for Ishakan to tell them to go back, even thought they know that they have to hurry, they simply wait for his words. Havan comes to him and instead of telling him that they should move, he asks Ishakan if he knew that Leah would go back. He did, and that’s why he didn’t kill Serdina and Blaine at the same time as Mirael and all the other gypsies. He knew that she would go back, wanting to get her memories back and save her country if possible. At the same time, he just wanted to take her back to the desert, for her to give birth safely to their child and live happily, but he knew it wasn’t possible.

Once again, we have insight from Ishakan’s mind, that show how much he’s devoted to Leah, that hurts :’(

He then tells the kurkans to move and go back to the royal palace.

As it was planned, they were going to help Leah regain her memories as much as possible. Looking at the orchard burning to ashes, Ishakan said.

“I let her go once…that doesn’t mean I will let her go twice.”

　。POV Serdina : She’s in a really bad state ugh, wandering in the palace and as she realizes Ishakan’s insensitive to her sorcery, she decides to eat all of the dead gypsies’s heart to obtain more power, in order to kill him. (end of ch118)

Yes! Im glad that b*tch mireal puppet is dead and that Cerdina disgusting pig trying to seduce Ishakan yuckk! Oh poor Isha! My heart! No Leah don't leave him but yes she has to face her fears and break free from Estia's influence. I hope Morgan comes with a remedy soon.

Here you go, up to 125 that came out today o/ Exams starting next week until beginning of July, so I might not update much for the next chapters x')
Gosh I'm in love with Ishakan, he's just aaah XD

　。POV Leah : She’s back to the Royal Palace, and things seems stranger to her. She realizes that no one talks about what happened at the peach orchard and that Mirael’s missing. Serdina is also being too quiet in her view. Leah guesses that there is something going on with the gypsies in the capital and decides to go check for herself by visiting Lady Cinnael. On the way, she meets a gypsy that tries to sell her flowers. The gypsy tells her that she’s the one who made the drug Byunbaek gave Leah (it was around ch20-22) and apologizes for it, which triggers a memory and gives Leah a headache (the memory from when Ishakan took her out the palace the first time, they were in a dark alley and they saw Byunbaek flirting with gypsies). The gypsy also hints that she saws the future (not sure about that tho XD), she tells Leah that not all gypsies are following Serdina and begs to “The queen of Kurkans” to remember her and be merciful when the “day of judgment” comes. She then gives Leah the flower basket, that contains a potion hidden inside, telling her that it will help.

Leah doesn’t find Lady Cinnael and decides to go somewhere else in town, to a small tea house. When left alone on the 2nd floor, she fakes illness, and Havan comes out the ceiling, worrying about her x’) They talk a bit about Ishakan and finally Leah asks him to come with her in town tonight. She goes to the place she remembered when meeting the gypsy earlier, but it leaves her disappointed as no real memory comes back. Then by chance, they happen to see Byunbaek going into a dark alley, and coming back shortly after, followed by crying and screaming gypsies. Havan immediately covers her eyes, she can only hear the sound of bones cracking and smell the blood. When he removes his hands, Leah can see Ishakan on top of the gypsies bodies, looking at her coldly.

We learn that Byunbaek went to the gypsies to ask about the potion Leah gave him before (when they kidnapped him in the desert, around ch 85), serves him right XD Ishakan tells Leah and Havan to come out, he kinda blames Havan that hurriedly tells him “She didn’t see anything! I immediately covered her eyes! But… I couldn’t block the screams or sounds…” The air is quite tense between Ishakan and Leah, when he starts to leave, she calls after him and only manages to tell him about the potion she received earlier from the gypsy. He looks back at her with cold eyes and simply tells her to give it to Havan to bring to Morgan later. She then tells him that he should give her more palm dates, as she finished already. Finally, after hesitating, she admits that she missed him and that she’s trying hard to remember everything.

Leah : “I am trying hard to get my memories back. I came here tonight because some came back…”

Instead of finishing her sentence, Leah looked at Havan. It was because he was waving his arms from behind from the other side. Behind Ishakan, so that he could not see, Havan mouthed some words.

Ask him for help !

Leah hesitated for a moment. In reality, she was trying to solve everything by herself, without Ishakan’s help, but the words came out first.

“Anyway, I’m feeling a bit lost alone… Ishakan. No, without you…”

She glanced behind him, seeing Havan nodding eagerly. Next to him, Genin was also silently clapping.

“Could you help me?” (GOSH I love Genin and Havan ahaha <3 )

He accepts and Leah asks him if he knows about the gypsies inside the palace. He tells her that Serdina’s a gypsy and Leah decides that they have to go see Count Welton, Serdina’s father. She wants to make him reveal that Serdina’s a gypsy, hoping that it would shake a bit the enchanted people and make them wonder about the weirdness of the situation.

Naturally, Ishakan tried to find out how he could threaten Count Welton. But Leah realized that no matter what she thought about, she couldn’t follow Ishakan’s thoughts. He looked back towards Byunbaek. Then the Kurkans who where watching from behind suddenly looked with anxiety. They gathered around Ishakan and muttered.

“The baby…! You have to think about your baby…!”

“You can’t just bring someone’s head to his bedroom”

“She’ll be scared if you do that!”

Baby? Bringing someone’s head to the bedroom? Are they going to cut and bring something like a fish head? While Leah was wondering about their words, Ishakan frowned deeply. (They are so funny XD)

He then decides to go to Count Welton immediately and picks Leah up x’) They arrive at his mansion, there is again a bit of heavy air between them, and they awkwardly call each other’s’ name at the same time which lead to more awkwardness for Leah. Ishakan then comes close to her and kisses her, awkward-sweet times, leading to Leah feeling weird in her stomach, and when touching it, she feels something moving inside her. She starts to panic, telling Ishakan that she may be sick, or it might have to do with sorcery, but after pondering for a bit, he decides to tell her she’s pregnant.

Ishakan sighed deeply. Hesitating to speak, he opened his mouth with difficulty.

“Don’t be too surprised. You are pregnant.”

Leah blinked a couple of times. And only after a long time she said.

“…Yes?”

She wasn’t surprised. To be precise, she thought it was so unrealistic and utter nonsense that it didn’t even come to her as a possible truth. Leah asked. (not sure about that part >.<)

“How?”

“The two of us worked hard for it.”

“Yes? So, Ishakan, you and me…?”

Ishakan bowed his head. He came close to her, so that their noses were touching. Leah held her breath unconsciously. With her eyes wide open, she looked at his lips opening slowly in front of her.

“Do you want me to teach you?”

His sharp eyes were bent. He whispered with a smile.

“How to make babies.” (end ch122 – Yes please, teach me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )

Ishakan : “You told you wanted to get pregnant”

“???”

“You asked me to c*me inside you, so that you could bear my child”

Her back was against the wall. Ishakan put his hand on it, next to her head, his body coming closer and closer to her.

“So, I filled you up…” (beginning ch123)

Leah thinks back about the night Ishakan brought her to the inn, touching her as if he knew everything about her, then she sees glimpses of memories. Ishakan the catch sight of a wagon arriving to the mansion and they see Blaine and the Count Welton coming out of it and entering the mansion.

　。POV Count Welton : He goes with Blaine to see a bunch of gypsies that are crying about how Serdina ate their brothers and sisters heart, how she is insane blablabla

Blaine tells them that after his wedding, the country will be theirs. He then asks for more gypsies able to do sorcery and tells them to go to the Royal Palace the day after. Going back with Count Welton in a salon to get a drink, we learn that Blaine plans to kill more gypsies to give their hearts to Serdina.

Count Welton then brings Blaine in another room, to a prostitute that closely resemble Leah, leaves him with her and goes back to the salon. There he finds Leah and Ishakan waiting for him on the sofa. Leah asks him to testify that Serdina’s a gypsy, telling him that she already has her memory back and that Serdina doesn’t care a bit about him, only about Blaine blabla

　。POV Leah : After speaking with Count Welton, they leave the salon to go back to the palace. Leah learns that Ishakan killed Mirael, and he tells her that he didn’t only kill her and that if the Count were to refuse their demand, he would have to kill him. It’s raining outside so Ishakan tells her to wait for the rain to stop, as she’s pregnant and he doesn’t want her to go outside in the cold and get wet. They search for a guest room, but Ishakan suddenly pulls her in the nearest room, which happens to be a small storehouse and covers her mouth.

They can then hear Blaine calling Leah’s name and coming their way, and reflexively Leah’s body hardens, and she starts to cry, wanting to go out and meet him (f*cking brainwash). Following his voice, they hear the prostitute, acting as if she was Leah. Blaine and the prostitute start to make out in the hallway, and Ishakan and Leah have to listen to it all, which is pretty disgusting as Blaine’s a real asshole, talking dirty and looking down on the prostitute.

After a while, Leah starts imagining what it would be if it was her and Ishakan, and she pulls him into a kiss, telling him that she wants to do more with him.

Smexy times incoming, as they leave the storage when not hearing Blaine and the girl anymore, and finally enter a guest room. At the end of ch125, they’re on the bed and just ended up in 69 o/ (end of ch125)

POV Leah : Smexy times huhu during foreplay, Leah's giving Ishakan a bj and after some time, Ishakan asks her where she learnt how to do it like she’s doing. She tells him that she’s trying to mimick the women she saw with Blaine (ewwww) which makes him a bit angry, but he tries not to show it and continue to pleasure her. They switch to the main course, and once again Leah remembers what Blaine would say when banging his prostitutes, along the line “[…] tighten more […]”, and clamps down on Ishakan’s member.

“Ugh Leah ! Relax, you’re too tight…”

Hearing him call her name, she felt ashamed and buried her face in the bed (doggy style ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) . Afterall, it was difficult to lie to him. She muttered slowly.

“That’s uh…”

He said, licking his lips, slightly distorted, as the tight feeling was difficult to endure.

She dreams again of being in the desert, and sees a chain, and the the small baby wolf sitting on a pile of chains, without any wound. She goes to him for a hug and he calls her “Mom!”. When she comes to face the fact that it’s her baby, the iron door appears in front of her again, and she tries to break them to open the door. The cub helps her a bit, and they finally hear the sound of a part of the chain breaking. (end of 128).

Serdina's starting to go crazy after eating too many gypsies hearts, but she continues as she knows that she must become much stronger in order to bewitch Leah completly. Blaine's helping her by bringing gypsies in her room.

Hmm, Leah confronts Serdina once, then after that she learns that Blaine's not her step-brother, that he's not even royalty.

Blaine tries to rape her in the Palace garden but she resists him, telling him that she doesn't love him anymore, which mark a start in breaking the spells that's on her (at the same time Serdina feels that some of her control on Leah disappeard) and she confess her love to Ishakan that came to help her. He takes her away from the palace, to his inn. They go on a stroll, end up near a lake in the forest, and there Leah notices the Kurkans that are following them. They start a picnic with everyone, as they're all glad that she came back with Ishakan and that she's strating to remember more. During the picnic after a while, Ishakan takes Leah away so that they can be together, and he tells her that he wants to go back with her to the desert. Smexy times starting again at the end of ch136.

Leah remembers a bit about her childhood, running in a dark and narrow alley, with a boy with golden eyes. She realizes that it was Ishakan when he was a child and they talk a bit about this.

After his failed rape attempt, Blaine goes back to Serdina and he tells her that he doesn't care anymore about Leah's heart, that he just want her body and that he's not gonna wait until the wedding anymore, so she should make her a puppet right away

Tbh, the baby seems like the most OP character in this book. During her pregnancy she has been fed miscarriage inducing medicine, got assaulted, slapped around, had sex till the bed broke, jumped from balconies and slammed on walls but STILL did not miscarry. Also I don't get why they just dragged on the story like why did the ML not kill the queen the first time he went to her room? She was okay with getting her country in trouble plus throwing her life away after giving away her first time but did not want to leave her country later because she had duties? why did Leah went back despite knowing she's pregnant? She comes and goes from the place and no one bothers to stop her or keep an eye on her?
Still the romance was super cute and for the first time it was the FL who lost her memories usually its the ML. it was a nice change.

Because the pig queen has bound Leah with spells that can't be broken easily and they don't know how strong they are and if they kill the sorcerer before breaking the spell then Leah might die too it has been explained by Morgan when he examins Leah. And that's why Leah has to first break free from the spells HERSELF and regain her memories before they can kill cedina and blain

This is THE BEST book in this genre and has such an amazing plot and properly thought out characters! I wish the author publishes this on global platform on hardback so that people like me who can't get access to korean sites can read it. This story is so beautiful and first time in my life I neither hate the ML or FL because usually in these type of stories one of them is annoying and dense but these two love-birds are just perfect! And ofcourse Ishakan can just burst ovaries with his machoistic charisma lol and he is the only one that can make an infertile woman pregnant!✋

Alright, so back to long spoilers and MTL excerpt lol
The side stories were reeeeeally good, but so short Still it was a fitting way to end the serie, and I'd say for good this time

Isha POV

When Isha was born, Kurkans knew he was of a special species, but they also knew he was a hybrid with human blood. The king at the time was ruling with pureblood supremacy and thus decided they had to kill him, as a special species should only be pureblooded. After consideration, he refused to acknowledge the fact that a hybrid special species was born, and decided to sell Isha as a slave, like all the other hybrid kurkans.

Still, when selling Isha to the slave trader, the King secretly ordered him to kill Isha after leaving Kurkans territory. The slave trader didn’t kill him, thinking that Isha was a pureblood due to his appearance, and presented a fake body to the King.

During his captivity, he was mistreated by the traders and its where he got all the scars on his body (whipped, hit, denied food/water, denied treatment of the wounds…). The slave traders also denied the kurkan boys a “coming of age ceremony”, traditionally held so that the kurkans could grow up from teenage boys into adults. As such, the enslaved kurkans remained in their childlike bodies despite their growing age, they could not gain force and rebel against the traders.

There he meets another boy called Mera, from the cat tribe. He acts like an older brother for everyone and is well liked by every child. Mera and Isha quickly become friends, and once when Mera was helping Isha to tend to his wounds, he told him that he would never give up hope, he will always keep his pride as a Kurkan and never bow down to the slave traders.

When they were left alone, Isha asked quietly.

“Why don’t you give up?”

Mera answered quickly, as if it was evidence.

“Because I am a Kurkan”

Sadly, a short time after this, he confronts a trader that was nearly killing another young slave and gets sent into the “tunnel”, an underground prison with no light coming in, no food and no water for a week or so. He comes out mentally broken and hung himself during the night, after confessing to Ishakan he is sorry for giving up.

Ishakan’s the first to discover the body and tells a prayer for his friend. When the slave traders discover the scene, they talk about the fact that it’s a shame as Mera would have sold as a good price and that now he can only be used as dog food. Ishakan then finds an iron rod next to a brazier, and on impulse grabs it and kills one of the traders by impaling his neck.

Isha whispered in a low voice.

“Teacher”

The education officer […] turned his head at him. Before his gaze could reach, Isha moved swiftly. The long iron rod penetrated the skin somewhat dully. Blood was splattered on his hands. His lips twitched spontaneously at the feeling of hot liquid.

“Uh-…!”

The educator, whose neck was pierced, opened his blood-stained eyes. Looking into his eyes, Isha whispered lowly.

“I am a Kurkan.”

Isha is then beaten by the other traders on the scene, while the kurkans try to save him to no avail as he loses consciousness. He wakes up in the tunnel, deeply wounded, gagged, and chained to the walls. After some time, a slave trader comes by the cell to show off Mera’s head in his grasp, telling him that the body was eaten by dogs. Since then, Isha slowly loses his mind in the tunnel, suffering from hallucination of his lost friend blaming him for his death.

Realizing he could not live like this forever, Isha admitted to his weakness.

He couldn’t stand it any longer. If the trades were to come again, he wouldn’t hesitate to beg for his life right away. Even though he knew that was what they wanted.

I was wrong, he wanted to shout, Please, Open the door!

He wanted to knock and scratch at the door until his nails broke. But his body, bound in chains, was unable to do anything.

All that came out of his gagged mouth was a dying sound. The sound of his breathing gradually getting weaker, and fainter scattered in his ears.

When even his last ounce of pride was broken, only one thought filled his head.

I want to die.

Let me die, God.

But God never answered. In a hell where even death was not allowed, Isha went crazy.

Kill me please.

“… !”

The wooden door suddenly opened. A ray of light fell into the space only filled with darkness.

His vision, which had not been able to adapt to the sudden light turned black and then gradually came back. Isha blinked slowly. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He had several hallucinations so far, but this was the first time he was seeing this one.

There was a woman as white as the light. Silver hair flowing around, white cheeks flushed with red and vivid purple eyes.

Her face was still very young, and she looked to be about sixteen at most. Isha, who was staring blankly at the white and dazzling woman suddenly thought.

She’s like a snowflake…

So yes, here comes Leah de Estia, taking him out of the tunnel. They escape together, but when they hear slaves traders coming after them, they hide in a small place, tightly stuck together. Being that close to her, his heart starts beating faster and he can’t take his eyes off her face, her smile.

Still, when selling Isha to the slave trader, the King secretly ordered him to kill Isha after leaving Kurkans territory. The slave trader didn’t kill him, thinking that Isha was a pureblood due to his appearance, and presented a fake body to the King.

During his captivity, he was mistreated by the traders and its where he got all the scars on his body (whipped, hit, denied food/water, denied treatment of the wounds…). The slave traders also denied the kurkan boys a “coming of age ceremony”, traditionally held so that the kurkans could grow up from teenage boys into adults. As such, the enslaved kurkans remained in their childlike bodies despite their growing age, they could not gain force and rebel against the traders.

There he meets another boy called Mera, from the cat tribe. He acts like an older brother for everyone and is well liked by every child. Mera and Isha quickly become friends, and once when Mera was helping Isha to tend to his wounds, he told him that he would never give up hope, he will always keep his pride as a Kurkan and never bow down to the slave traders.

When they were left alone, Isha asked quietly.

“Why don’t you give up?”

The education officer […] turned his head at him. Before his gaze could reach, Isha moved swiftly. The long iron rod penetrated the skin somewhat dully. Blood was splattered on his hands. His lips twitched spontaneously at the feeling of hot liquid.

The educator, whose neck was pierced, opened his blood-stained eyes. Looking into his eyes, Isha whispered lowly.

“I am a Kurkan.”

Isha is then beaten by the other traders on the scene, while the kurkans try to save him to no avail as he loses consciousness. This was really an interesting background for Ishakan, here I thought the background the author would show is his life back when he took the throne, and I even had the slighest hope we’d find out if he was a virgin or nah Still, this was good and it makes me wanna re-read their scenes again, it was really love at first sight for him hehe

I also started re-reading the translated version, as I just realised that it was picked up some time ago and that the translating team was pretty far in the novel That is one of the reason I mentioned in the spoiler how Ishakan got his scars. Truthfully I didn't remember him having a "damaged body", but during their first time in the inn, when he removes his top in front of Leah, she thinks his skin is hideous, which made the pieces fit after considering his background

And yeeees, love at first sight, it makes so much sense again, considering the whole story. I can't say how much I love how the plot is well written, and the characters are so well hemmm thought? There are no useless details or empty actions, always
