Yeah he comes see's the ML time to time. When the ML returned from the war/battle or w.e, he was waiting for the ML with one other prince (totally forgot who he was because he doesn't show up much at all). The 3rd prince at one point got poisoned(?) so the MC convince the ML to let her go save him because she believes she can do it (I think it had to do with her doctor system). Any who, she saves him, he falls in love with her, he later finds out he was originally suppose to be engaged to the MC but we all know how that ended up. Nothing bad happens to him in the end because he tries to help the MC has much as his abilities could when she enters the palace and has to duke it out with the emperor or empress if they try to scheme against her but it usually ends up with her handling any issues herself. She does at one point nods to him to let him become aware she knew why he showed up out of being concerned that the empress might do something suspicious to the MC. But yeah I think the last screen time I saw him was when he found out about the engagement thing and how he was thinking what if he was engaged to the MC instead of the ML when it actually happened.

Spoiler: aboout the 3rd prince legs the FL actually couldn't detect the problem.. only after the ML give some hint then she able to deduct then correctly diagnose the 3rd prince legs... and it needs the ML's knowledge about acupuncture points to point it while FL stick the needle and then ML uses his internal energy to push the poison or blood clot.. and then the 3rd prince got healed
which secret? Spoiler about the crown prince is not the empress's son? or that FL is not PM Lin biological daughter? or the empress is actually an exiled princess from an oppressive empire and she plotted to use FL to cure her sickness? or that the 3rd prince finds out that he's actually the one that's going to be married to FL instead of the ML?

Spoiler the empress is the one that poison the 3rd Prince legs and Spoiler: FL other secret she doesn't know yet FL is actually not PM Lin's daughter.. she's the illegitimate daughter of some dude from the central empire Lin Family and she supposedly inherited his special blood which is highly sought after by many factions including the critically ill empress.. ML will found out and he's quite vengeful towards the empress about it.. ii forgot whether the ML tell the secret about her special blood to FL or not.. but very likely he didn't
well yes.. Spoiler in few final chapter.. the 3rd prince ask ML permission to retreat to his own fief and ask the ML about who poison his legs.. Spoiler: the culprit ML says it's the empress... while the prince is vaguely suspecting his own father.. ML just kind of incredulous that 3rd prince will think his own father would poison his own son
So ML is the first one to fall in love right? But the MC is really afraid of him. He knows about it but did he knows to what degree? And what did he do to make the MC unafraid of him? After all the MC and the ML has a lot of negative opinion about each other.
well from my perspective.. it was the FL that fall first during the ML therapy by the Divine Doctor Mo... maybe she fell in love because it seems during that time ML really appreciates her opinions and pay attention to her well being.. but later after a misunderstanding cause by the ML suspicious at FL.. FL were giving a reserved, polite, and somewhat cold reaction whenever ML is in the picture... I think later he knows that the MC fears him to the point wanting to leave him..and in some occasions she really did try.. the ML tried a few ways he could think of... but his people's skill is zero so it took a long time for the FL to not be afraid of him and let him get close to her.. Spoiler FL actually still afraid of ML even though the got closer when they travel to the central empire together.. she's afraid that if he knows about her medical system, he'll think that's she's witch and deserve to be burn at stakes, the ML finds out anyway when he helped her using his alias.. and then ML risk getting wounded so that the FL would treat his wounds using her medical system in front of him.. and she did.. that's when the trust between them solidified, and they begin to accept each other.. if i'm not wrongly read the mtl.. they only had a minor disagreement once when FL come home and find their son's demeanor were reserved, polite and like a mini ML.. she think's it's enough to have ML's as the one that had a cold expression in their residence..
