Spoiler Jiang Nan tries to destroy LWY by framing her as a spy. He gets together with Papa Guo's half-brothers to accuse LWY of having stolen military secrets from one of the uncles, but LWY gets a step ahead of them by faking a falling out with Zhao Yue and having her figure out what their plan is. LWY and LMD end up using the scheme to frame Jiang Nan, since he's also a foreigner, and drag Papa Guo's half-brother into the mess as well. Jiang Nan ends up being given a death sentence. Because the princess is in love with him, she has him rescued from prison before the death sentence comes down, but LWY and YL ambush them before he can get away. LWY feeds him poison that makes him ravenously hungry and shuts him in a room with a bunch of beasts that were fed the same medicine, then plays chess with YL while they kill each other. IIRC, Jiang Nan eventually wins but can't stop himself from eating and ultimately kills himself that way. Then she sends his head back to the princess, setting off another revenge cycle.
What @autumnscarf said. But to give details on Jiang Nan's death: According to LWY, the manner of his death is poetic justice. So Jiang Nan, the famous son of a military family, dies extremely wretchedly. The drug that he and the beasts (tigers, lions, etc.) are fed make them so hungry that they eat each other -- so they're tearing at each other with teeth, claws, hands, mouth, everything. The worst thing about the drug (for Jiang Nan) is that his mind is completely sane but his body's out of his control as all this is going on. He still feels pain, humiliation, and despair. He and the beasts scream/roar in the distance while YL & LWY calmly play chess. Once the sounds die down, they go check it out. Jiang Nan is victor, but he's missing a leg (or legs), has an eye torn out, and is just extremely miserable. He also can't stop eating from the animals he just killed. He ends up dying from overeating -- his stomach bursts or something. And yeah, his head is sent to the princess who was treating him like her gigolo.
After her mother died she tried to get revenge and got together with her mothers family to plot against LWY, the family was actually smart and told her to wait but she couldn't take it and planned stuff herself of course all her plans backfired and she was sent away a few time and the Jiang family had to keep saving her, eventually she tried to poison LWY’s baby brother but was discovered quickly so LWY used the poison on her and she ended up scratching her own face off and lost all her hair. She pretty much went insane after this because her face was her life, she even killed or ruin any of her maid who was a little pretty. She got her cousin, the godly doctor to make her a human skin mask that can't have air flow so if she wears it too long her face will rot. The doctor cousin had to put some maghots on her skin to take care of the rotting flesh under the mask because she refused to take it off. The doctor warned her that she would only have like a year yo live if this continues, but she was kinda insane so she didn't listen. Eventually she tried to frame LWY by killing her dying grandmother( mom’s side)(The grandmother actually tried to do the same thing with a better plan that could have worked if LCL didn't meddle). So LWY uncovered her plan in front of everyone, police dogs were involved and her mask was discovered, LWY said she was a fake sent to murder the grandmother, the Li and Jiang family both denied that she was LCL and called her an imposter to save reputation and she was sentenced to death by a thousand cuts. Her decapitated head was sent to LWY as a declaration of war by JiangHua.
I read some spoilers that the Jiang family schemes against the MC, and the Mc fights back with the help of the shu sister who always schemes against her. Can you spoil how that arc please.
So basically the Jiang family proposed for JiangNan to marry MC and take care of her quietly in their home, mc’s father was going to agree but mc talked him out of it, kinda. JiangNan didn't want to marry mc but couldn't take her rejecting him so he planned with jiangtian to kidnap and rape her so she would have to be his concubine. This is in mc’s plan so she went into his trap and took the shu sister with her ( she's been sorta crazy since the scorpian incident and was sent away). Then mc took an detective official with her to rescue shu sister end made it look like jn was trying to rape her. They took the case to the emperor and the jiangs tried to say that shu sis and jn was in love and secretly meeting up. But shu sis denied everything and said she never even met him since she was sent away to be treated for her ”illness” Shu sis turned out to be in on it with mc the whole time ( much less crazy since treatment), they pretty much aired all the jiang family’s dirty laundry in front of the emperor ( everything stepmother did and how the jiangs covered for her). JN was thrown in jail, the jiang family’s reputation took a big hit and shu sis ended up engaged to the official detective who saved her ( pretty decent marriage considering the scar on her face).
Original life LCL became TBZ’s spoiled queen for years until age caught up to her and TBZ eventually lost interest in her, but he still gave her position and power for the Jiangs power. Eventually tbz had an affair with LiChangXi’s daughter who resembles mc, this blew lcl off the edge and refused to let her niece be a concubine, like mc when she was queen. Lcl sent someone to rape the pregnant niece and framed her for adultery, also killing lcx later. TBZ ignored this and waited until grandmother jiang died (the only one who cares about lcl) and the jiangs abandon lcl yo set up a new jiang empress. TBZ lit her palace on fire and her had burns all over, tbz wouldn't give her treatment and left her in an abandon palace to rot ( literally). Eventually her son came visit and told her that no one will save her, she's a useless prawn. So in rage she crawled out of the abandoned palace and went to find tbz to see him with a young, beautiful, new jiang concubine She was so angry she rolled down stairs and died, seeing mc’s ghost as she past.
