1) try to set your mind that you're in the mood to study. 2) if not effective, drink water and repeat 1). 3) imagine the information is going into your dantian. 4) breakthrough
Make a schedule for the day ahead of what and when to study before you sleep and keep to it. Works 8/10 times.

arrange a study session with someone interesting that you find attractive but you have absolutely no chance of having sex with. You could also just think about the material you've learned while doing other activities that's how I studied and I never failed a class except for the time my computer crashed with all my final projects on it the night before I needed to turn them in.
