Is there any GOOD novels (I don't mind if they're japanese, korean or chinese styled) that take a kind of programming approach to part of the world? Like where magic is a form of coding and people that understand it can write their own 'code' to custom-make spells (I remember there being a novel where the incantations are in C++ or something), or where they make an enchantment, or inscription, or lay a formation and they have to go through set orders to it, and by changing what they do and in what order there is a different result? (And where they actually go into it somewhat, rather then "If I change this doohicky to that it will cause it to explode rather than become invisible")

Knights & Magic - The anime was a horrible adaptation so don't judge the LN using the former as the basis.

+ 1 for both Mahouka and Knights & Magic

There also a novel I read recently that I forgot Both the title & adding it to my reading list, but it was stated that the MC found that the magic there are more/less similar w/ C+ programing language

Lily Ex Machina, though it only really gets into the details of how magic works much later in the story.
