PSA to Fan Tls looking to pick up a dropped novel

    Please, please, please at least try to contact the previous tl. It gives them a heads up that the novel has been picked up so they don't accidentally re tl chapters that have already been done, you can get access to their glossary (if they have one) to coordinate terms, you can get the previous tl to link their TOC and next chapter link to your site, and often there will be a half-done chapter so you can save an hour or so of tling.
    In addition, you never know if the tl has an agreement with the author or not.

    It isn't hard. Go to the previous tl's site and look for a contact form, email, or discord. Then message them.

    I'm not even going to shamelessly advertise my translation website, ebisutranslations.com, that got shafted five times (compared to the 3 times where someone politely notified/asked us) because I'm so fucking pissed.
