Discussion QI take over of TGR

QI has done it again!

Now they even took over TGR that already has a decent release schedule with a translation group that has subpar translation and a speed that is never above 10 per week, but they posted 50 chapter ahead...

Whats your opinion? Bad HJC attempt? Will RWX tell us more? Where will this lead, will they take over all novels?

 

This took longer than expected to be a thing.

 

Don't they teach 'Ethics' in CN universities?

 

Yea, better take over TGR than several novel abandoned on Gravity Tales for MONTHS.

 

Didnt we stop with these kinda posts? The novel is theirs. Qidian can do w/e they want it with. Previous translator have no impact on what Qidian does with it. Done.

Except QI signed a contract with Wuxiaworld giving them the right to do the english translations on about 20 novels meaning this is a breach of contract.

 

Hmmmm, hmmmmm, should I feel troubled that this is not surprising?

From forum and discord, they seem to have "endless to-do list" and many halted projects, but oh well they always have resource to shat on their biggest rival.

 

That was then but now they are en route to becoming the biggest economy in the world...so I asked that question....

Except so much more shit have happened inbetween that, and iirc noone actually knows the actual terms of the contract since they can't disclose it. But, sure.

don;t want to sound like Im making a wise crack, but they do have a class where they talk about the things wrong with china in a very controlled environment it is also the class every foreign exchange student has to go through in CN universities

 

Even if they are en route to becoming the biggest economy power in the world it won't change a thing, l think. L even thought that they would become even more worse as they become prosperous.

 

What about the regular CN students? Is that class optional for them?

 

Well, by ''we'' i meant the fact that it just went so well. I didnt see any Qidian posts for such a long time, and then suddenly last couple of days it's come back even tho they havent really done anything except those 2 novels where they changed the premium.

And yeah, criticism doesnt have to stop, but this is the same arguement again, and again, and again, and i feel like we've already been over both sides of the coin so many times, so i just felt the need to vent when someone brought it up again.
