    I usually ignore such threads, but the past couple of days, every time I log into NUF to browse through the forums when I’m on break.. there just HAS to be a thread about Qidian, Qidians app not working, qidian f*ckingg some poor TLer over, a new Qidian novel that they want people to vote for and other Qidian related crap..
    It’s just irritating how many threads of such crap is popping up the last couple of weeks

    Qidian is a multimillionaire company where they publish web novels on their CN website. Back then, translators would pick novels and translate it and upload it to their own website until Qidian decided to go International. People at first don't really welcome it because they're afraid of paywalls but then Qidian fucked some stuffs up, the people have a legit reason to hate Qidian and they boycott it till these days. Of course, there are 3 types of sides. 1, Qidian haters, 2, Qidian fans or 3,they just don't care.

    I would usually not reply, but somehow it just ticks me.. ugh..

    Unless they start introducing a paywall, I can't hate them as I don't really care who translate as long as its done and free. But. What I said stay true. There are many novels that would never have reached ( or been introduced ) the 200 - 400 chapters that reached it in Qidian. Like Commanding Winds and Clouds ( which had many irregular periods that annoyed me. Can't say they are all perfect though the TLer nearly released all the due chapters ) Scheming System which have a pretty good release rate, Strongest System etc.. not much novel that I read on Qi. But those are good and have a good release rate. Others TL groups would have never released so much, apart from groups like WW.

    The opposite stays true though. When you're free, you should spent a little bit of effort browsing the novel pickup request subforum.

    But meh, who am I to judge **shrug** it's not like I'll ever read them in the future so whatever.

    Don't really care about it, unless quidian will pernamently change to pay 2 read. On Phone i use free Stones and on PC i Just wait for 8 seconds to skip black square meanwhile doing something else
