    I'm really sad people always hate on Shen Mu it gets a lot better towards the 3 book as the story is finally starting to get off at the end. I also agree ST is better than CD as Imo ST is mediocre-okay the whole time but CD just crashes in the last 3 books and the whole underworld part was pretty bad at times.

    what's the purpose of linking that thread? I ctrl+F xuanhuan there and I got no yields.

    there are, original poster did not include them. also Xiaxnia and Xuanhuan make up most of the top 10's

    玄幻: Xuanhuan, 玄(abstruse, unreal) 幻 (fiction). This term is use for those fiction set in a eastern culture background(in contrast to 奇幻Qihuan). In Xuanhuan you get five basic element (metal, wood, water, fire and earth), Chinese style gods, powerful animal monster like fox and tiger who can transform to human look, Taoist practice that allow human to become immortal, etc. It's a really general type, and Xianxia is just a subclass of this type. ATG and MGA is an example of this.

    We have just seen the first 3 volumes and the Translator is dead so we can't reach that part

    Well, i coudn't finish CD. But, i reached further when I had read ST. An evident difference is that, in ST, the MC doesn't do everything alone.

    this is the top 10 so...plenty of novels are right below in the 10-20 range. DE is probably in there.

    Where is the dislike button when you need it, you can say simply you don't like ST , don't shit on it, makes me wonder if you hate it so much how are you even reading xianxia, ST compared to others is much better

    original poster only included Xianxia and Xuanhuan. >.< TKA would probably be near the top for gaming.

    TKA is number 2 if I'm not mistaken. The number one is a novel with 2-3x word count than CD and has really strong backing from fans.

    It finished last year around June. It has 2.9 million words and the king's avatar has 5.3 million words...

    Hohoho, my favourite author's Xuanhuan work is ranked 59 and 87...
