Hey guys, a few days or maybe a few weeks ago, I was able to change the font size as well as the reading page background color on Qidian International but now I don't seem to be able to. This is on my iPad while I can still do this on my PC. Is there anyway I can still do this? Thanks in advance!
idk about the Qidian page settings, but if you have a problem reading due to the font size, change your browser font size.
you are using iPad right? than why not use reader mode on safari and the problem would be solved? because i too have the issue but on android tablet and my iPhone after the i made the changes when the website was released, i cant alter them so on my iPhone i use the reader mode, whilst on my android tablet i use the App, another solution would be to wait until May when they release the app on iOS and the problem would be solved...
Qidan probably hasn't made those options accessible/usable on mobile devices which is why it works on PC and not on iPad and tablets.
Yes, I am currently using the reader mode but since the next chapter buttons are missing and since the chapter list is not easily navigable, I am currently using their default reader page. Hence this question. Also the reader mode crashing while JavaScript is enabled doesn't help . Btw, it was possible to change the font and background on ipad a while ago, just that I believe someone complained about the floating thingy and hence was removed. Also the font on the reading page is not tied to the system font size or at least it didn't change when I just tried it now.
Prob best to contact @Qidian to suggest adding the chapter navigation buttons to the top of the chapter as well. Would easily solve the issue with reading on mobiles if the user only had to turn off reading mode and then click next chapter
I had the same problem. What you have to do is turn your orientation lock off and the turn your iPad horizontal instead of vertical and the settings options will pop up on the right hand side
Thank you! That worked. I did try this a couple days back when the 1.0 version was released but it didn't work then. Or maybe I wasn't paying enough attention. Anyway, problem solved.
