**!!! North American Webnovel Platform Gravity Tales Partnering with Yuewen Group Means Good things for Everyone !!!***

Qilu Evening News, August 08: Today, Yue Wen Group’s oversea’s portal, Qidian International, has formally announced a partnership with the well-known Chinese-to-English translation site, Gravity Tales. The two sides will work together to promote China’s webnovels to a global audience through the use of formal licensing agreements and quality translations. Having more high-quality international partners means Yuewen Group’s international developments has moved into the fast lane. Also, this means more international opportunities for China’s webnovels. Yuewen Group will be the pioneer that allows China’s creative industry to compete with and influence the world.

***Formal Licensing Agreements with Like-Minded Partners Will Greatly Develop English Speaking Markets ***

In recent years, China’s webnovels have gained popularity overseas with a group of “fan translators” quietly becoming popular. Among these, a group called Gravity Tales was founded in the USA in January 2015 and now has over 30 titles, including ‘The King’s Avatar’ and ‘Ze Tian Ji’. Widely beloved by international readers, their highest single-day traffic was over 2.5 million and they have over 150,000 regular users. Asthe world’s first group to carry out translator tests, standardizing translation work, and continuously optimizing their website, Gravity Tales established the current standard for translator websites. By virtue of their translation quality and technical innovation, Gravity became the forerunner and leader of popularizing China’s webnovels. Their high growth rate has attracted much attention both inside and outside the industry.

Now, Yuewen Group will deeply cooperate with Gravity Tales on the basis of their similar attitudes towards international development of China’s webnovels. Qidian International will cooperate with Gravity Tales to produce high quality content, cultivate original authors and open up other aspects of content cooperation. Gravity Tales founder Richard Kong has this to say, “Formal licensing agreements and high quality translations are the key to spreading China’s webnovels to the global market. Yuewen Group is China’s largest webnovel company and has the most content. This cooperation will allow us to quickly demonstrate the beauty of China’s webnovels to the world and prove China’s creative writing abilities.”

As a website based upon providing Chinese webnovels to international readers, Qidian International will not only provide formal licensing agreements but will also provide technical support, share their content creation expertise, and help establish translator development and training. On the other hand, Gravity Tales with their abundant international development experience and user data will help Yuewen Group deeper their understanding of the Chinese to English translation market. This cooperation of formal licensing agreements, developing translators and reaching more readers will allow Yuewen Group to open up more of the Western audience. Yuewen Group’s CEO, Wu Wenhui says,“The partnership with Gravity Tales is evidence that Yuewen Group’s development into the English market is accelerating.”

*** More languages, a Larger Market, Yuewen’s international strategy is on the up and up***

Whether for the overseas readers eagerly waiting for their favorite series to update or for the global translators who love Chinese webnovels, Qidian International is a ‘Seal of Guarantee’. Through their their large number of works, and their stable, high quality, high speed translations, Qidian International is dedicated to bringing the charm of Chinese novels to the international community.

Since starting May 2017, Qidian International has become the premier international gateway for Chinese webnovels and their rapid growth is evident for all to see. They now have over 90 titles, far surpassing all the other translation websites combined, and have over 1.5 million cumulative visitors.

Bonus Comment by Chinese netizen: What’s the point in telling us Chinese? If you have the ability, go translate this into English and go post it on the Western websites!

    ---

Translator notes: Sorry if some of my disbelief and sarcasm slipped though. For those who aren’t sure, yes this is an actual news article. Now whether it’s a paid news article… well, you make your own judgment.

Tl;dr : Hurry and praise the heavens! Gravity Tales partners with Qidian International, Ushering in a New Age of Prosperity for all Chinese webnovel readers and translators! Totally not paid news!

I'd like to point out the "Genuine" in the info graphic. As if anything about Qidian, Yuewen, and Gravity is genuine. Somehow, everything they say turns out to be a half-truth.

Is it really a grassroots company if they're bought out by a huge conglomerate?

Last time I checked, Wuxiaworld was the forerunner in bringing CN webnovels to the west, not GT; this article is full of shit.

It is sarcasm, pay it no heed. Since their PR value quality is shit(QI), why not pay some directed "news"? Though, given the novel readers are cancerous these days(at the start of QI drama), none will believe, either if it's now, or in the future.

Didn't gravitytales lose viewers because of this partnership? Also last I checked WuxiaWorld was the forerunner and the one that set the standard for Chinese translations.
