Qidian Webnovel and Wuxiaworld

    Why is qidian's webnovel.com site hosting HJC, Warlock of the Magus World, ISSTH and others announced before by wuxiaworld that they bought the license for this novels. I'm not clear about this one. Actually I was surprised when I saw those novels in qidian just now and I can't help myself but laugh. Did wuxiaworld spend a lot of money so that they can host alone for the english translation or they can also host those 20 novels along with qidian. Did qidian also copy the translations from wuxiaworld? Isn't that kind of unfair?

    I'm suprised that you don't know the story as someone who has been on NUF since 2016.

    It's been so long I forgot about this stuff. Didn't everyone just agree that china is a group of thieves and they'll just do whatever they want? I mean they're always talking about their long history, but as a country, they're only a few decades old. Before that was communist china which also only lasted a few decades. I mean their history is of countries that died off after all, but they claim everything is theirs. Not surprising they'd snag stuff from other people and claim it's theirs again.

    Yep, which is why I pirate novels that are solely on webnovels.com nowadays :3

    (This should be gray area in terms of rules, since I'm not technically advocating or sharing a pirating site!)

    I think i would also love qidian if they translated yuri works. Too bad. For the moment they only translate 2 good works. Gourmet of Another World and Martial Arts Master (somehow hiatus translation).
