Now this is so odd. They say that our authorizations are non-exclusive, but I was SURE that the phrase 排他性授权 means 'exclusive authorizations'. Gosh darnit! I must have misunderstood, because a big company like Qidian surely wouldn't lie about such a thing. If only I could find a good translator!

 

A few qidian novels I read just got dropped...

What do you mean shift the blame? From what I hear, WW is translating more novels that their original agreement allowed? How is that Qidians fault?

 

I'm pretty sure Amazon has the first place covered... Seeing how they publish the most original ebooks from anyone in the world..

You're legit getting the hate of every reader . And those who don't hate you don't even care about the copyright battle. You have screwed up there and your reputation is the worst possible now. You just come out one day and you want to monopolise the novels the translator have been trying their hardest to translate. You're not respecting their work nor are you taking into consideration our enjoyment as you claim to do in your posts. It makes me sick how you're just focused on making money out of everyone.

Though I think it's funny how most people aren't really answering the announcement itself, and instead are just reacting by showing hatred towards Qidian due to the problem with WW.

Not like I care though, I don't read novels from them anyway. *shrugs*

 

According to this post nothing much, maybe some novels moving to their website(Qidians), however Ren sayed on his post that the Qidian website will probably get a paywall in some time, in that case you would have to pay for reading, but isn´t confirmed jet.

 

Does anyome know what this public library that is mentioned here is?

Having patreon is gonna be useless once they put paywall because who would support tranlators since there's already a paywall. They know this thats why they're ok with translators having patreon XD

Sigh... Too bad the only 'plot armor' available in this world is money.

 

Which is why the community dislikes it.

From a business standpoint, I'm perfectly understanding of what they're trying to do. This method gets them more attention, which in the end just brings more profit to them.

However, from the standpoint of a reader, this is just causing unnecessary conflict, and there are many other easier ways to solve the conflict.

And so, as a reader, I'm expressing my general feelings from the standpoint of a reader.

 

I saw several B*llsh*t just from the 1st paragraph.
Man, they still need to praise themselves so much after everything already.
With how their greedy and scheming nature, I bet at least 99% they can't keep the promise they made inside their own plans. And they still managed to diss WW at the end. Well, in CN case, "They are a lost cause".
Go back already, Qidian. Your businesses in the International Stage are already finished. At least you can still have a bit of dignity as a big company left if you know when to retreat, and think back about yourself.
