    guys. do you check power level and popularity level for novel that participate at this premium. I think they rank go down every week, ^^;;
    It show reader dissatisfaction about qidian premium policy. Lets hope they will throw this policy to trash bin.

    So, I was reading updates for Super God Gene and discovered there are no more ads. Instead, you have to make an account with them and pay for gems or something. I'm honestly fucking annoyed by how greedy Qidian can be. I'm willing to watch through ads, but if your trying to make it a business then go publish the English book translation instead of chapters.

    You get gems by checking in and voting for new titles. You can also buy them if you so wish.

    i only read 3 novel in Qidian, and all of them needs unlocking... i just read one of them and i had to watch the ad presented.
    so about ur problem im gessing only some spesific novel got that feature

    If you're referring to using spirit stones which you can get 6-12 daily (once for browser / app, twice if you use both), that's... old.

    They only added the option of buying them some time ago compared to that

    They implemented the premium system
    Certain novels will have a lot early release but paid to read
    The ads are still there for other novels.
    Don't make a rant if you don't know anything

    the novel you are reading is going premium today, therefore there is no ads to watch only paying the premium price

    So I'm guessing you're one of those people who rock 20 accounts.

    Anyways, this new setup is pretty much the same thing as patreon, you pay to read ahead of others. This kind of thing has always been used by a lot of translators.

    Just the most viewed ones but it's not like you can only read after paying if you wait for it's normal release time you can read it for free.

    Yea, I gave up with qidan. Only read like two novels but in all honesty it's not really worth it with supporting qidan even via ads.

    I wonder if Qidian will have loot chests that will randomly award you anywhere between 10-10000 gems, but end up making it a pay 2 read situation entirely

    Here is what to do: Use an aggregator site for Qidian. Problem solved.
    Also, I would like to point it out there that I fully support all other translators, and I will always go onto their site to read their novel. Just not Qidian, for reasons I'm sure everyone knows the gist of.
