Just started reading and lol, no wonder ML blackens. MC is forced to transmigrate by the system each time the progress bar fills up to 100% affection (I'm guessing it's affection points?). For example in 1st world (rich young lady x boy toy actor), MC & ML get married and have only a brief bit of happiness before they reach 100% and her body drastically declines (I think she's diagnosed with some kind of terminal illness). She ends up dying in hospital with ML crying over her.
Not a terminal illness. She has to leave the world once her mission is done. She can opt for instant retrieval or stay for a few more months. If she chooses to stay, her body will decline. ML takes her to all doctors but the tests come out healthy. Or atleast that's how I interpreted MTL. Do you know if this is how it is going to be for all other arcs too? This is 'tragic' for me...
Probably lol, but that’s what I was getting at with the system ‘forcing’ her out. She can’t stay even if she wants to because her body declines due to the system. This novel isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but MC does end up dying at the end of every arc I think. Good news is that it doesn’t go on forever because there’s an arc called ‘real world’ or something that suggests it’s the ending where all the transmigrations are done and MC and ML get to stay together finally.
Hmm, I'm not sure whether it's this one or a BL novel with a similar idea (where MC has to leave after getting 100% affection points). After second world or so, the ML wisened up and kept his affection at 99% up until his deathbed, when it filled to 100% and completed MC's mission. But I can't guarantee it's this novel, I just recalled this setting and the loophole that ML found.
Hm, this novel sounds like QT Male god, come here with MC having no choice but to leave after getting 100% affection points from ML. If someone can spoil the arcs that will be fantastic since I’m into the BE ones with an emotionally abused ML (got twisted after reading to MGCH XD)
