Question about QI's ad-based chapters and LCD

    I know that NU doesn't list these chapters, but people keep posting information from them in the LCD. I wasn't sure if I should be reporting them for posting unmarked spoilers or not though.

    I mean, everyone can easily read them if they have 15 seconds to wait for the skip button in ads, so I would say it's ok for people to be talking about it.
    And I am just gonna put this here, Do NOT use ADBLOCK on QI. The only reason it's still not pay-walled is the ads. Don't f*ck that up for other people, please.

    Oh, they still get listed though. I've read a couple of QI novels and about 2-3 so far have told me to watch ads to read the chapter. NEET was one and I also believe either Dominating Sword Immortal or God of Slaughter was the other.

    I tought LCD was there to discus the novel wherever they read it from, and theres many source to read from other than QI, probably thats why:facepalm:

    He's not talking about those chapters though is he? There are chapters that you can only read on the Qidian app, so they aren't posted on NU.

    Why? He's not complaining/debating about Qidian. He's just asking, should discussing Qidian chapters in the LCD that haven't been posted on NU be considered as a spoiler or not. And if it's a spoiler, should it be reported.

    The problem is with some NuFFers, not Qidian.

    I dont think its a spoiler if you can read it on the site.
    It can be considered a spoiler if its still not translated and advanced.

    the only way to reduce it~ is all those who not read from qidian is smack them to not spoil chapter that not listed on NU yet~

    oh it remind me~ isn't it similar with those who read ahead from patreon?

    Well, since I didn't run into the problem with them much at all, I assume they were just nice enough to not post spoilers, had someplace else that they discussed them (likely the translator's website), or were asked to stop spoiling. I'm not really sure which though.

    Its a fair concern. If the translated chapters is a real pain in the ass to access maybe its content be tagged as spoilers for LCD.

    However, CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG, NU don't list app-wall & paywall chapters but QI ad-wall chapters didn't show up NU release page is due QI screwed up their own RSS. Thats not NU faults at all.

    Actually, when QI instituted this program, the chapters that they removed from public view to put behind the ad-wall were all deleted from NU. I assumed that this meant that ad-wall chapters weren't allowed to be listed on NU.

    Oh ok then. I remember seeing a post from mods that QI ad-wall is ok, app-wall is not, that QI failed properly set up the categories of something for NU bot...

    Guess I was wrong then.

    Its because app-wall
    If we open qi frome pc it becomes an ad-wall, but on mobile it become an app-wall, and nu doesn allow app-wall

    What chapters are those chapters that can only be read on the app? Afaik the releases that are app-walled are still available on desktop mode on mobiles but are ad-walled. Those releases are not listed until the app-wall is removed. Whether this will change in the future, is debatable but the final decision is still with Tony and the staffs.

    Yeah, but most people freak out at the app-wall that they forgot to check the desktop version of the site. I'm not about to go and tell people to switch to desktop mode since there's more than likely lazy people who can't spare some data and time on a bit of ads will poke at me for suggesting it. Have fun with those chapters, don't forget to enable your javascript so you don't have to keep repeating the ad-view and can just scroll down for the next chapters.

    The above statement is all my views and does not reflect NUF. As I've said, these things are debatable though the final decision lies with Tony and the staffs.
