Question about the terminology

    So I've gotten most of the terminology used on this forum but still have a question
    For series like History's Number 1 Founder are the series under Related series
    There are Adapted From and Same Franchise I'm assuming same franchise just means under the same author and is in no relation to the universe but how does that work with adapted series

    It's kind of like in film where you have "based on a true story" where writer's create a lot of leeway but the basic premise is of a shared serious.

    Adapted from has a parody tag where a part of the story in another novel is used in the series which is going to be an important part of the main story. Same Franchise just means it has the same author.

    No. That section on NU page should not be abused with listing novels by the same author.

    Same Author =/= Same Franchise
