So I was wondering and hoping that I am not the only one who thinks this way. But why almost of the novels or good animes have this tag of "HAREM" not that I have offensive comment it just why make harem when you can make it into friends group. Like you do not have to make complicated love issues that makes my head dizzy. I want to read it in a more relaxing way. Will that day comes?? Hahaha

I have seen novels that aren't harem related yet they got the tag, seems like the meaning of harem is more general than I thought
Cuz harem sells very well. Self fulfillment stories and all that. Around 60 to 85 percent of the anime/manga/novel community is made up of males. Most of them really thirsty ones.Them along with the echii genre gave us weebs the reputation of disgusting creeps, which thankfully has been receding lately.
It wasn’t like this before but now most novels on here are polygamy.. sucks. I miss the times harems only had one main girl.
Eh? What I know is Harems consists of several woman. Just like polygamy... Never heard that a harem just have one girl...
I think he means the ones where, although there was a harem of girls, the romance focused mainly on one girl while the others were mostly side characters? There was a main pairing instead of being split equally with every girl.
There's a difference between a royal harem and a boy who's friends with multiple girls. But the harem tag on this site serves both.
I have read once a Line:"Almost every Novel needs at one Point Romance". Cause it isnt Logical that a MC (Whenever Male or Female) that lives long enough in a Story (and has Feeling) with have Love. Whenever this love happen to be Fullfiled or not is another Thing. With harem it is mostly that the Mc has Something that lifts him Up from the Masses (His Kindness,Strenght,Looks,Willpower etc.)That attracts Women (Cause for better or worse who doesnt want a capable Partner). And in Novels The MC needs something to make him the Special ( simply the MC). And if you didnt know Polygamy was a System made for Women not for Man.
