Arc1 FL is from a prominent family while ml is poor and also blind. When he was young he begged Fl's family to help his mother as she is sick. Fl immediately takes people and goes to help but they were stopped by ml's stepbrother and his mother dies. After that ml ignores her. FL is very pampered at home so she is a bit arrogant. A few years later they meet again in college but as ml ignores her, she orders people to bully him. Here second female lead helps him when he is injured and he feels gratitude towards her. FL obtains a snow lotus which can cure his eyes with difficulty and gives him. They get married. She promises to help him become the emperor. They fight a few battles and wins them. When they arrive at the last city second fl is there. Ml secretly helps her and place her in a shed as he is thankful to her due to past. FL finds out and goes there in rage. Some fight happens and she loses her pregnancy. She becomes withdrawn and gradually keeps ml away. After a few years with sadness she passes away. MC's task is to be happy with the male lead and keep away second fl. When the affection points of ml towards second fl becomes 100% she will become dust. She will enter the world a day before FL dies and takes over her body. At present ml's affection towards fl-50% second fl-30% Second fl is also in his harem and there is no other woman. Everyone thinks he Pampers second fl as he doesn't have any other woman. But in reality he doesn't touch her at all. MC enters Fl's body. Previously FL is arrogant and very strong woman. Now MC acts soft towards ml who is instantly attracted to her as he was always in love with her. Some drama occurs second fl is killed by ml and he abdicates as an emperor as he thinks emperor will have enemies and will be dangerous to MC. World hopping novels tend to have love interests each world who may have different personalities, so 1v1 usually means it’s the same pairing, no harem or anything like that.
In climax of the first arc, the brother of the SFL has a group of assassins who try to assassinate ML after he kicks the SFL out of the palace. FL gets a warning from the system about this and goes to save him, taking an arrow in his place. In arc 2 she becomes a cannon fodder and has to win over the indifferent male lead in a modern world. Haven't finished the arc, so can't tell you how it ends.
I hate how Mc change original host character, its look like ML only love when she change soft character or fake personality. Why did ML kill second FL. FEEL PITY FOR HER. I am not into Mc chasing ML quick transmigration novel. Anyway thank for spoiler. WILL Read only spoiler, not novel. I haven't read the story, so I'm a bit hesitant to judge right away, but from the spoilers I have to agree. I mean...it is ancient times, and men back then even more than today preferred women who wouldn't challenge them and had 'softer / gentler' personalities. But....since this is fiction, and even more a QT novel where things are even more exaggerated / romanticized, it's really disappointing the ML only likes or at least is attracted to the FL after she 'softens' the original's personality -.-
I felt it was somewhat unfair to judge w/o even reading the plot summary of the original story usually given by the system in the novel...so I went ahead and read the first two chapters and. Idk. I'm a bit conflicted - the original FL was seriously too arrogant and it's kind of annoying how her actions are explained by the typical excuse of "she was so sheltered / spoiled", so she still has an "innocent heart" and therefore meant nothing "bad" by her over-the-top actions. So I kind of get the MC's strategy of 'attacking' the ML by showing some vulnerability from the FL - altho it annoys me to the max that the justification is because "men like girls they can protect" LOL (I mean - no one ever stops to say in these novels where the ML is super arrogant and over the top that the ML's personality is "too much" or that he should show some "softness/weakness" to the FL. Which is really what frustrates me in the end.) And it seems like the second FL is going to be the typical misogynistic depiction of a villainous women who was only nice to the ML for her own gain -.- At least the ML (of this arc, anyway) seems to be halfway decent and has enough humanity to feel grateful towards her. But still, despite my criticisms and misgivings, I'm willing to give this story a chance, but only after the first arc is over - I need to see how the author will handle this arc.
So far it seems like the ML actually did like the O!MC, that moment when he was thinking about why he prioritized military questions in the exam because he wanted to at least keep the country safe for her was really sweet. It's too early to say about the FL, but based on the spoiler ML kills her she's probably a typical villainous woman. Like blazikens mentions, the O!MC was a bit, lets say headstrong. The biggest different between her and MC seems to be the MC actually talks to the ML, instead of talks at him. It's still too early to say but while she's different I'm not sure that it counts as her acting vulnerable and making him feel like he needs to protect her. He already wanted to protect her even when she was headstrong, and even if his affection was at 50% the ML really comes off as sincere. Honestly the affection level was probably higher before O!MC went into seclusion and ignored him. Which is why I feel bad for him, after all the O!MC is already dead... There's just one thing I'm unclear about, does the ML know O!MC had a miscarriage and that it's partly because of FL?
He knows about the miscarriage and is sad that he cannot protect the child. He killed second fl because her brother traps the ml and tries to kill him which our mc intercepts and gets hurts instead.
The reason she changes is because that's what their relationship needed, as shown by the side stories at the end of the arcs. The ML knows that the SFL caused the miscarriage, but because of the favour he owed her, he didn't do anything to her, making him hate himself. Also, the MC will change tactics with each arc. In the second arc, because the previous host died from being too passive and being bullied, she becomes super aggressive. She goes to the cafe the ML works in and casually hands him a note saying "I love you" before getting rejected to her face.
2nd Arc So the MC comes to a modern world where the previous host killed herself by jumping off a roof after being rebuffed by the supporting male lead because she angered the supporting female lead. She is a cannon fodder in this world. The arc starts off with the supporting female lead trying to bully the MC into doing stuff for her, but the MC completely ignores her and pisses her off. The MC then follows the ML to the cafe he works at and hands him a note that tells him she loves him, which he promptly shuts down. She then asks him to choose a blend of coffee for her, which she can't drink since she has a weak body, so she gets a stomach ache. The ML sends her home and realizes that being with a girl is nice (how lewd). Then it's the school's anniversary concert. The SFL has injured the FL's hands to try and perform with the ML, but the ML gets MC to perform with him instead and he changes the song to a love song. The concert goes well and after the concert, the MC gets the ML's partial address and phone number from the student list. MC sends a text asking the ML on a date, but gets ignored. She tries again later saying that she'll be there whether he is there or not. She goes to the movie theater where she set the date, but it rains and while she's waiting outside feeling hurt since the ML didn't come on time or even send a text message, the SML shows up with an umbrella. While all this is happening, the SFL tricks the ML to wait in a classroom for a teacher, but actually locks him in to prevent him from going to the date. The ML breaks out and jumps off the roof, hurting his foot. He rushes to the movie theater, but doesn't make it in time, so he comes to see the MC with the SML, causing his affection to fall. The MC knows this because of the system, so she screams into the night that she loves the MC, which makes him happy. She gets fever that night and the next day, she learns that ML also took a sick leave. She goes to his house to find him, tries to trick her way into his guarded neighbourhood to have him discover her and let her in. They do a bit of talking and then the ML accepts her and tells her that she needs to do well on her exam if she wants the answer to whether he likes her or not, since he doesn't want to break up during their third year before university. The MC crams like crazy, eating a ton of special memory bread the system gives her to memorize english words, but that makes her sick the day of the test. The MC notices and finishes early to buy her medicine for her stomach. She makes a bet with the ML that if she gets a better mark than him in english, he has to go on a date with her. She gets an almost perfect score on the exam, but the SFL accuses her of cheating with the ML's help, so they get called to the office and are almost punished, but the ML notices that from the angle of the picture, it was taken with a cell phone in the test room. This traces it all back to the SFL who gets exposed, but she's still super stubborn that the MC cheated, so the MC arranges for them to do the harder version of the test to prove that she didn't cheat and the SFL accepts. The MC and SFL do the harder version and the MC gets a perfect mark, shutting down the SFL completely. The MC and ML go on their date to this resort city and chill on the beach, where the ML loses the MC and freaks out, realizing how much he cares about her. On their way back, the ML asks the MC which university she wants to go to and the MC says she wants to go to a bad university, which upsets the ML, who realizes that she only wants to do it because it's close to his university as opposed to going to the good university that is on the complete opposite side of town of his university. They get in a fight and the MC storms off, leaving the ML in a daze. The MC goes to her grandparent's house the next day for New Years, but the ML comes to her house since he wants to see her, so she rushes back. She comes back to her house to find nothing and she breaks down since she thinks she's lost him, but he appears and cheers her up. He gives her this swan necklace as a New Years gift, but she has nothing to give him since she was angry. However, he says that she has given him the best gift of all, her. After that, they prepare for their entrance exams, with the MC going for the further good university. The SML tries to make his move at this time since she was cold to him and he's super into that, trying to find out which university she's going to to stalk her and make her his. The ML comes in and completely shuts him down before leaving with the MC. The MC and ML take their exams and she passes the cutoff by 30 points. She also receives news that the SFL was caught cheating on the exam for the super high level university that the ML was going to, so she was sent to a youth detention center for 6 months and was banned from ever going to university. The SML completely failed the exam for the MC's school, so bye bye asshat. After that, we find out the MC actually didn't go to the super high level university and instead is going to the MC's university since he wants to be together with her. They go to school together and four years pass. When she graduates, he asks her to marry him and she agrees. They get married a month later, grow old, have a child together. They live a good life until they're around 70 where they were taking a cruise, but their ship got wrecked. They died in their cabin while holding each other, gazing into each other's eyes and thinking about the good times they had.
3rd Arc So this one is a cultivation world where there are three main races, the Heaven Race, the Witch Race, and the Beast Race. The previous host is the princess of the Heaven Race who was banished to live as a human in the mortal world. Her mortal self was put onto a beast men island when she was young with 1999 other girls and after a slaughter by the SFL, the power of the beast men fill her heart. When she became older, she was hired by the Beast King to go to this mountain of ice to burn a corpse without a heart, which is the ML, but she falls in love with him and almost die with him. The SFL saves them both and brings them back to the Witch Race's floating city, where she rips out the heart of the MC to revive the ML with. Before this, the ML sacrificed himself to save the SFL, which is why he doesn't have a heart. The SFL also caused the island slaughter because she needed a heart full of beast men power since the ML is the Beast Race's Beast God. The MC wakes up in a traveling mountain and meets the ML's mother who send her off to the Witch Race's flying city. She meets the SML on the way and saves him from his pet tiger in a sort of play like manner since the SML has divined that she is his destined wife. The MC goes to the city and become a maid since that's the only way to get into the city, but gets attacked by the SFL, which she foils, so she tries to drug the SFL with an aphrodisiac to get back at her, but accidentally drugs the ML instead. She sneaks up to his palace and helps him take care of it (not sexually since everyone thinks he's abstinent). The ML feels something special for her since it is her heart in his chest. The next day, the maids are assigned to palaces and the SFL tries to get the MC in her palace to kill her, but ML interferes and brings her to his palace. Daily life funny things occur. The MC goes out to buy some things from the mortal world and is stopped by SML and they get close, which is seen by the ML who was brought out by the SFL. The ML locks the MC out of the protective array of his palace, but she still charges in and gets seriously injured. The ML saves her by using half his cultivation and she apologizes to him. The ML leaves the Witch Race's flying city to go back to the Beast Race's temple to celebrate his dead sister's birthday, leaving behind MC with his trusted servant. He gives the MC a special sword that used to belong to his sister, but she had to sacrifice her soul to it when it broke free of its seal. We learn that this was caused by the SFL and when the ML's big sister dies, the SFL steals the ML's big sister's skin with a forbidden spell, so they look exactly alike. The SFL attacks the ML's palace while he's away to try and capture MC, but she kills the ML's trusted servant instead before putting the MC into a prison where she tortures her. The ML rushes back to save the MC and loses all love for the SFL even though she has the ML's big sister's face. The ML brings the MC to the Beast Race's temple to get a special herb to cure her of the poison from when she was tortured, but he also uses the power inside the temple to use a technique that binds their soul together, since he loves her.....(not yandere at all). The ML's big brother, the current Beast King comes and sees him in love with the MC, but he still agrees to let the ML get the antidote even though he hates him for sacrificing himself to the SFL, who he knows killed their big sister. The ML goes into this array which digs up memories and he learns that his heart came from the MC. While this is happening, the ML's big brother sacrifices his soul to release the seal on his big sister's sword that would bring the end of the Beast Race. The only way to seal it is to offer the soul of someone who the sword recognizes as a master, which can either be ML or MC. The ML wants to do it, but the MC beats him to it and sacrifices her mortal soul since she has another soul in the heavens. She then returns to the heavens and becomes the little princess again, with an increased cultivation. She comes back down to the mortal world to take revenge on the SFL, who she pins to the stake and throws her to the 1999 young girls' souls in hell to be tortured forever. The ML comes and saves the SFL, but the only reason he does this is to rip off all her skin which actually belongs to his big sister before throwing her down into hell. The ML and SFL leave, but they leave a pill for the SML who had been poisoned by the SFL. They go to the ML's palace and save the ML's trusted servant before going to another abandoned palace that no one knows about to live the rest of their lives. They live another ten thousand years and the MC realizes something about all the MLs she's supposed to love. They all had a black mark on the back of their ears, just like the red flower she has when she goes into her hell dream (Maybe important for future, haven't read far enough to confirm). She dies, but the ML also dies since their souls are linked together. The next arc after this is a modern world with a focus on online games and the female lead plays a male character. She's supposed to win the love of a random bystander.
4th Arc So this is a modern world where everyone is super into playing video games. The previous host is a girl who plays as a male character and is third in the server she plays in. Because of this, the SFL tried to seduce the previous host and succeeded, stealing her smurf with all her stuff before running to the SML who is the second rank in the server. The SML's guild begins trashing on the previous host, causing her to delete her account and then she got killed in a freak car accident. The MC starts off by playing in a 20 man PVP battle where she meets the ML and defeats him. This attracts the attention of the SFL, who tries to become friends by dragging her into a dungeon raid. The MC's friend is someone who is currently dating the SML, who the SFL has seduced and they all meet at this dungeon raid, creating tension between all of them. The SML starts slandering the MC after the dungeon raid even though he was basically useless and he breaks up with the MC's friend before getting together with the SFL, so the MC challenges him to open PK and he shows up with a large group of lackies to kill her. The ML shows up to save the MC and then the SML starts slandering the MC again, but she says that she likes men, which causes the ML to ask her to marry him. After getting married, she joins his guild and they start preparing for a territory stealing battle for the guild. Now we jump into RL where everyone works together at the company that makes the game they all play. The SML and the SFL are actually enemies since the SFL is an old lady gold digger who laid her claws on the SML's dad. The ML takes over the MC's department and makes them work overtime just to have her come and see him to take time off for the territory battle. Then the SML asks the MC out on a date that the MC sets for right before the territory battle and then she stands him up to troll him. She goes to the battle and then as they are setting up, *insert obligatory BL here* since they are two males in the game. The battle starts and they win, but that causes a fight in the world chat, causing the MC to change her character into a female character. Then the SML's guild attacks right before the territory battle ends with a sneak attack, so there is no one left to defend other than the MC's party who needs to hold for two minutes to let everyone else comes. The MC and ML work together with tacit understanding to destroy the SML's guild and then the ML asks the MC if she's going to the game's anniversary celebration in real life, which she agrees to go together with him. The MC had a secondary mission to find true love for her friend, so she sets her up with the MC's friend. Skip ahead to an office competition the ML sets up and the MC and SML compete. The MC crushes the SML, but he's unwilling to give up since she's a weak little girl, so he challenges her again and she accepts. The MC uses the same class as the SML to destroy him and he has no choice but to accept it. The ML then challenges the MC and then they have an amazing fight before the ML lets her win. Skip ahead a bit, the MC comes into conflict with the SFL, which causes the ML to fire her. When she comes back to pack up after being fired, she sees that the MC is actually the third ranked player, so she freaks out since she's going to the anniversary celebration with the SML, even though they don't know they hate each other in RL. She thinks that the SML will fall for the MC, even though he already has, but she doesn't know. She gets her cousin who is in a gang to kidnap the MC on the day of the event. The kidnapping works, but the ML had sent a driver who saw the kidnapping, so the driver chases them. The ML gets worked up since the MC was kidnapped and wants to chase, but gets convinced that going is no use and attends the anniversary event. The SML and SFL find out about each other and the SML pukes, while the SFL composes herself and sets her eyes on the ML. The MC breaks free and uses the teleporting shoes she got from the last world to teleport to the anniversary event. She scares the SFL so much that she goes crazy and then leaves with the ML to set up her friend and the ML's friend. After the event, the SFL is admitted to a police hospital since she went crazy and is under suspicion of kidnapping (bye bitch). The ML and MC start dating before the ML proposes and the MC agrees only if they win their next cross server battle, so the ML directly shuts down the other server so they would win. They get married and they release a special wedding set for their wedding in the game. The ML gets old together with the MC, but the MC's progress is stuck at 90%. The day the MC dies, the MC asks the ML to play the game one more time for her and then as she is dying, she receives the rest of his love. We find out the ML didn't give her the rest of his love because he wanted to keep giving her love for the rest of their lives, so only in the final moment did he give her all his love. No idea about the next arc yet, haven't finished the side stories for this arc yet.
