I'm curious, have you actually had mere acquaintances or near to complete strangers take your food ?
Hugging. I'm okay with it for family members and really close friends only.
Friends of my friends (acquaintances) have tried to do it
I like when my mom suddenly hug me without any real reason
Touching my face. Will never allow anyone except for my family and a few close friends. Then again, there's not a lot of times when touching the face is needed...
Getting scolded (no I'm not a masochist lol)
I appreciate their efforts to scold me(even though I never listen) cause it means they care enough to get mad hehe So when others berate me I can't stand even one word of their nonsense
If one of my loved ones wants me to get something for them, I never mind, even if they ask in a way that seems rude.
You want breakfast in bed? You want me to pass you that thing from the closet? You're too lazy to stand up from the couch to get your drink that is only 5 feet away? You want take-out but don't want to go pick it up?
Either I say "No problem" and do it, or I say "I'm also too lazy!" and we laugh about it.
But if anyone else asks without being completely polite or asks while assuming I'll do it, it makes me mad.
im very uwu shame on you
None of these are really quirks or traits, they're things that people normally do. Of course you like people who you are familiar with more than people who are strangers. I guess quirks or traits aren't really things that people notice. Some people breath loudly. Some people shake their legs up and down. Some people speak slowly or quickly or quietly. Some people like to rub a knickknack in their hand when they're nervous. These things are quirks or traits. Treating people you are friends with in a friendly way is only expected.
I hope I've communicated my dissatisfaction with this thread in a satisfactory manner.
you missed the part about pet peeves of theirs which is what people were most willing to talk about
But the things they had pet peeves about were examples of unfamiliar people acting familiar. They weren't really pet peeves. They were just things that pretty much everyone doesn't like. They weren't saying anything of value because it was all the same obvious thing is my point.
is there meant to be value in every statement ? or is it necessary ? and if so who determines it ?
The value of the answer is determined by the question.
so ? all questions are not meant to be an pseudo-intellectual pursuit or need be answered by fake deep
There is no pursuit. This is a statement: they did not answer your question. And I am dissatisfied with the thread because of that. What wrong is there in that? In stating how I feel. I meant no harm by it. Nor did I wish to mislead. I thought I was quite forthright.
you was forthright indeed.
Lets speak in nuf context. I dislike it when someone i already didnt talk much to starts RPing with me. Like i know Nyan isnt my real name, but Nyan isnt a RP clone either. Stuff like *hug* makes me uncomfortable even if i am not being hugged for real. Even if its virtual, i must feel some sincerity there.
Well i don’t actually know. I hate when people touch my neck, even if by accident. Family is no exception. Hmm if i think about It? I’m the same as u, but i have four siblings. Haha and for some reason? It’s just damn right creepy when my twin sister says the nickname my older sister calls me, and It doesn’t help that she says it creepy AF. I hate hugging people I berly know, or family I’m not close to, but to those im close with i love farwell hugs, or hugs in general.
I'll just write a few things.
I really love it when my best friend and mom talk non stop, but I'm not that tolerant about others (I tend to zone out easily).
I love hugging my best friend and parents, but I don't enjoy it much when it's someone else. (I feel uneasy)
I don't get upset when my best friend criticize something I really like, but I really get upset when someone else does that. I usually end up crying.
