So yeah, one of the downsides to translation is that you're stuck regurgitating the original author's words. And when your subject matter comes from someone who's had to release chapters on a daily basis for years on end, it's inevitable that some of the prose gets repetitive....or even clunky. =.= I do my best to spice things up but there's only so much a TLer can work with, yanno? Anyways, I'm basically starving for some nice English prose now, so let's play a game! Read the quote of the person above you. Reply with a beautiful quote of your choice---BUT the quote has to contain a noun, verb, or adjective/adverb from the previous quote. (Common words like "the, they, my, and, but, or, a....etc." don't count. Phrases are okay.) Don't use your own quotes---too easy! Find something written/said by someone else, preferably easily verified online. You can use stories, poems, speeches, whatever~ Don't double quote. Don't use excessively long quotes (more than 3 sentences) or ridiculously short ones (like 3 words =.=) Pick good quotes! If you're sick of reading bland words, here's the chance find refuge with some lovely lovely descriptions, ahhh~ (The subject matter doesn't have to be beautiful, but heck it should be some seriously moving English yah.) Credit your quotes! Whoever wrote it, where it's from---tell us so we can look up the author's works if we want to! I'll start us off: “A rain like melting pillows… a rain so beautiful I could never have let go of if not certain that someday...it would find its way into my poem.” ― Sanober Khan, A Thousand Flamingos (In the example above, the next poster can search for quotes containing words like rain, melting, pillows, beautiful, someday, never, poem, certain, let go of, find its way, etc.) And so on.
“Brother Guang, life is like getting raped, if you can’t resist, you can only enjoy……” undefeated war god chapter 116
Sunny days wouldn't be special if it wasn't for rain Joy wouldn't feel so good if it wasn't for pain So says the great 50 cent
"If you're doing a text search in this document for the word 'butts,' the good news is that it's here, but the bad news is that it only appears in this unrelated quote." - Randall Munroe
— Charles Baudelaire just some french dude beautifying the disgraceful using poetry.

Lol, if everyone just wants to add in their favorite quotes I don't mind either. xD *tosses game rules out the window*
I'm using yours, because you were the only one who actually followed OP's rules. It would be better to bold the word the "unites" the two quotes, so it's easier to see if you are following the rules or not. Though I'm kind of cheating with mine xD Today, celebrate the day you were born, everyday celebrate life. -Afiq Danial Spoiler: Link to "quote" Edit: I skipped a guy and I don't any fitting quotes... So continue with this one:
Not caring if strangers live or not,and hating other just seems like some kind of fashion now Kanzaki iori - hated by life itself
"...'The act of taking' is equally evil. From the moment we are born we continue to take. Even from our own relatives who feed us we take. Living to the utmost, continuing to slaughter, kill, take. Life is constantly sin. Life is evil itself. We continue to do sinful things. I'm aware I'm evil, and so are you all. Now, come kill me." -Yoshimura Kuzen, Tokyo Ghoul (Chapter 126)
