    I agree, and at the same time, I don't agree. I think they're a little too specific. Really, who is going to look at the tags and think 'Anal intercourse, big dick, wow! Oh wait, outdoor intercourse? Who would read that?'

    I don't think, that it's that big of a deal since these tags do give a description of the novel itself. These are novels and not hentai so mostly there's no graphic material. I don't think kids will even know what these tags mean and even if they do, they probably won't start reading the novel just to find a description of a sex scene. The rest of the audience is more mature and these tags will genuinely help them to start or not start the novel.

    All three were within the ones I mentioned. I just didn't give them the titles in Japanese cause I don't know them in Japanese.

    I wasn't really sure about Maken no Daydreamer but I do remember the mc ended up doing that with that person so I wasn't going to just dismiss on vague memories of months and months ago.

    Well, I did get rid of all the breasts-related tags, except for breast feeding and breast fetish (this time only when it really applied). Gender equality dictates that I get rid of the *ahem* penis related one

    We'll never know. In the end, I think we can all look at this topic as a grey area since it's hard to say what's right and wrong.
    Though, my reply was mainly based off of Heavenly Jewel Change where some readers stopped reading due to a rape scene that occurred 60+ part chapters into the story, iirc.

    on the side note, since many people are complaining that most of the novel with such tags aren't good
    is there any novel with such tags that are really good to read?

    Tags like rape and necrophilia etc certainly have a place in the tags. They are things that will probably have an influence on whether people will read the story or not. Some of the tags up there aren't really appropriate. 'The MC's dick is too big so I wont read it?'

    Just group all of the graphic descriptions under explicit content or graphic intercourse or something along with R18+ and tags that actually matter like the ones I listed earlier.

    Hey maybe you just turned 18 and you actually didn't lie on those "You must be 18 to enter" sites before and had an interest in reading those things for the first.

    Those people need the tags. So they can avoid the hardcore stuff.

    Too 'specific' stuff aren't needed though.

    It's actually okay for me though with those rape, gore, NTR
    but those big dick tag? seriously? did it have anything to the plot
    and those anal intercourse, outdoor intercourse, cunnilingus etc? I just feel that it give a hentai site vibe which is not suitable with this site, maybe we can merge all that to one tag like " descriptive sexual contents " or something like that , not detailed tags like that

    You see, NU also list 18+ novel. I think tags like Anal Intercourse, outdoor intercourse, cunnilingus, is legit as long as it is the main focus of the novel. Descriptive sexual content tag would be redundant considering we already have hentai and smut genre.

    but I do think these tags kinda overkill for a novel...
    hentai needs them tags because they are more graphic than mature novel here in NU...

    Have you ever read hentai novel/smut novel/yaoi novel?
    They are pretty graphic. Just because there's no drawing doesn't mean it's less intense.
