yeah..., I've never read hentai/yaoi novel..., as far as I can remember...

r-18 that I read in NU all has sex as tool to achieve someone's goals, to give progression to the story or even just a fan service...in other words to complete the story, so tags like 'rape' or 'sex' is enough...
whereas hentai (most of it) rely entirely on sex or rape, you can say sex is the story itself..., more specific tag is necessary for variance of needs..., if you know what I mean...

yeah..., it's more like a comparison between mature and hentai..., me gonna edit my previous post a little...

 

I don't know. If the tags are R-18 themselves, maybe put them in a spoiler and give a header saying that this is R-18 story and provide a warning to not read the tags unless you are of age or something.. The tags are way too explicit for anyone to accidentally catch. Its not only adults are 18+ guys that view this site. Given the novels that are updated, I am sure there is an audience of those at least 10 years old view NU.

In my opinion, the tags should just say. Adult or Mature Content: And then detail it in either Sexual Nature, Drugs, or etc. Nothing too explicit.
