    You either choose to translate something people like or translate something you like. Choose wisely because it will affect your outcome.

    Sometimes it kinda felt like he built his (well-deserved) rep on Sevens, partly because it was so long and so quirky that you couldnt help but comment on the insanity sometimes, and on Shieldhero that i guess the series he picked up afterwards just couldnt garner the same sheer mass of reader attraction that Shieldbro and Sevens did.

    Sad to hear of his pretty much retirement.

    I member the good ol times of reading shield hero in Yoraikun translation. Eventhough I only read the early part of Sevens, Yoraikun is one of the earliest translation scene on WN I've encountered.

    I also love his choice on what short stories that he will translate.

    My fav short story is definitely In a World without Life

    i still go back to read some of the one-shots yoraikun translated, they're just so fun to read :D i still check back every once in awhile if he ever gets back to translating stuff again, but even if he doesn't, yorai if you see this i wish you all the best in whatever you're doing

    No one cared about translations and readers as much as Yoraikun, that's probably why the comments got to him.
    He's the best of us.

    And by the way, he's right, comment a little for god's sake, sometimes it gets depressing.

    Nothing brings such joy to me when I translate as when I read the comments. Please comment if you can think of anything, or even if you just want to say "thanks for the chapter!" or something.

    Well, if I was still reading japanese novels, I'd have recommended @yoraikun with good ones like I always do (you gotta admit I have the taste to find real gems) but then it's been a while I haven't read any JPs...tho it's kind of all copy-paste lately (truck, harem, fuckboi otaku MC, stupid but modern so wow, etc etc).
    Yoraikun, if you are still interested, I could try to give a look and recommend you one or two novels you could (become interested to) work on
