I disagree. Just mindless sex will be an average fap. A good day is one where the tempo raises and falls, where you enjoy the action taking place.
Of course, if it is a long chapter type work, then it is a different story.

Readers of culture will look at the reviews and tags of R-18 novels to see what kind of research material they'll find, so they don't need the ratings. Most R-18 novels, yes, even that one you love, are not great stories, and people who aren't looking for faps (this isn't a porn site, after all...) won't enjoy them too much. With some exceptions.

So, your rating system. "Uniqueness" is seriously overrated. If you think a novel is unique, you're just inexperienced. Especially on a site like NU, where a blatant copy might get translations before the original (WMW vs Wizard World, Desolate Era vs Talisman Emperor). So when people say "I've never seen anything like this - 5/5" or "This other novel did it first - 1/5" I just...

There's no point in thinking deeply about how you're rating a novel unless you feel a need to explain it in a review, and then you can tell people your method in the review. Easy peasy.

 

On the case of uniqueness, I agree. Which is why I later rephrased it as you recommend it to someone...nvm
