Name: Sacred Chevalier (セイクリッド・シュヴァリエ) Raw Link: https://novel18.syosetu.com/n1904em/ NU Link: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Why It Should Get Picked Up: The protagonist is actually smart and proactive. The harem is done well and the women involved are great. The story and setting aren't too innovative, but they're developed better than a lot of non-R-18 novels... and there's overall a good mix of plot and plot. Description: In this world, by having sex, men gain blessings of good luck and women gain blessings of strength and beauty. Of course, the strength of the blessing depends on the individual. Women with particularly strong blessings are called holy knights and men with strong blessings are called heroes (chevaliers). There are just two problems: 1) Women can only gain blessings from sex with their first partner. 2) The most active men can only get it up normally once a week, twice a week at best. In order to help their holy knights win battles, heroes must take dangerous drugs. The lifespan of an active hero is usually no more than ten years after starting his duty... ... And in a remote country village, a teenage boy hears this and resolves to become a hero at all costs while masturbating furiously. ---------- (That last line is not in the actual synopsis, but it gets the point across well enough) Spoiler: Some people might object to... There's a tragic scene, and it sucked, but if you make it past that there's the single best "Get over yourself already" speech I've ever seen directed at a harem protagonist. (feel free to remind me of scenes I might have forgotten) Maybe it's not Bright Slap levels of awesome, but it alone cemented this novel as a "must-read" for harem fans and haters alike IMO. Well, as long as they're okay with porn novels.
Why JP authors can make a balanced novel? :'c Dense protagonist VERY DENSE PROTAGONIST, so dense that makes me cry. Full porn novel without plot or boring plot/plot focused on sex I'm waiting for a novel with both balanced to be born(JP)...(without the dense protagonist) -About the thread- Tragic Scene? Rape/NTR? @elengee sensei I summon you!
*nods nods nods* That will probably be a dense MC~ The last line is maybe the best lime in this synopsis ~ *whistles*
I was sold on this series after reading that last line. "... And in a remote country village, a teenage boy hears this and resolves to become a hero at all costs while masturbating furiously." The humor alone makes this worth reading if that line portrays the story accurately, and if the story / sex scenes are as good as the humor then it's a master piece.
Does the tragic scene have anything to do with rape/NTR? cause if not then you have me sold for this.
Hmm... *look around with furrowed brows, yet in a determined manner* ...yep, i'm in 'that' section again. *Sigh*... i should stop clicking links randomly... Ahem! ... I was never here.
Men other than the protagonist just aren't interested enough in sex to do rape/NTR, lol. Spoiler Unless you count a potential harem member Spoiler: do you really want to know? dying due to the protagonist's mistake as NTR. I wouldn't compare it to PLxIC. I wouldn't compare anything to PLxIC, for a lot of reasons. Still, only 19 chapters in and each of the characters has plenty of personality without needing to be a unique subhuman race or use a weird verbal tic.
