Most of Downloading site nowdays, probably wont allow you to download if you active your adblock, they might not telling you to turn it off but you may get "you already download this file, so pls goddamn wait till it finish"... Seriously!!!? are you trolling me? this aint funny! But when you turn it off, you probably get... - new window pop up (still fine) - Multiple window pop up (once get 8+ ads open simultaneously at katfile) -there is invisible wall stopping you from clicking the next step (always get redirected whenever clicked) -current download page got redirect (nope! what the F***! is this? i not even see the download button, i already enter captcha yet you goddamn redirect me and force me to starting point again!!) P,S I am a free scrub, dont tell me to get premium if i can get it for free
Use a download manager. I personally use JDownloader. Most aren't one-click start downloading, but once you figure out how to use them, they cut right through those ads, timers, and redirects.
Could be a scam or one of your other plugins running interference. (usually tracker blockers like ghostery or disconnect)
I don't mind with the ads, because that make their site live and "free" also torrent.... you'll probably mastering dao of the leech than dao of seeding (imagine 1 seed and 40 leech)
and so i ask my frend to DL em from their PC for me, so all troblesome such as virus or backdor is on their risk. Tee Hee~~ >_o
Any sites that flood me with ads to the point that it's a pain to download will never get another visit from me.
i not good with those stuff i once use IDM but nowdays i hardly use it [it can do those stuff too] i suspect it is one of those ads, normally i dont get these kind of things happen but if that is the only link provided and other pirate to use the same link and you kinda want it, you still probably try to download it (then you swear never go at that site again)

Chance are there's some alternative out there. I'd rather not deal with all kind of popup and redirect and captcha bullshitery only for the prompt to say "you already used all your downloads, try again in 2 hours". What kind of stuff do you download anyway?
You need to sit and find some good websites for you use. Also your pc may have redirector installed unintentionally by other name popular add on. I had a problem that even while clicking search results of google a new window containing adds had opened up.
I also use jdownloader2 I only open it when I need to dl off a site like that. First Install Jdownloader then open it, copy the link to the file, jdownloader should recognize it and popup a little window telling you if the link is still valid. Then open the linkgrabber tab in jdownload and set the dl location and click start. It should then start automaticly unless a captcha is needed in which case it will popup a little window to enter one.
if you can get it from one place, you can get it from some other place. exclusivity in the interwebs is quite difficult
You don't have to use adblock. It doesn't catch every ad and most site can detect you're using adblock anyways. You can login to your router and manually block the sites. There's nothing websites can do.
yeah i got that same problem, i'm not always downloading but browsing too sometimes give same trouble~ sometimes when i want to read novel within GT or WW, the problem is almost same with pop up ads, when i've activated my ad-block its still useless because some video ads cant be blocked and its always source of it to become freezing site~
