[Rant] Isekai smartphone is horrible

Because God reconstructed his body while in heaven, he is slowly becoming a god himself, and can therefore use all the elements and later on subconsciously grants power to his harem.

As for the OP, regarding him not using his Smartphone cause his magic is OP

He later learns how to cast magic through his cellphone, so he can use the cell phone to target everyone he wants to hit with magic and cast it on them simultaneously. Once he learns Program magic he becomes even more op because of stuff like this.

I liked both the novel and the anime. Guess its a matter of taste

 

I watch it for girls and girls only. Dont care about thd story, the art is good.

When the novel first came out I truly like it. The whole concept was new, with regards to using a cell phone in a fantasy world. The whole harem thing was a bit fast, but possible. The manga wasn't as great as the novel, like most series. It just seem like they skip parts to fit the manga. But than again maybe I use my imagination to fill in the blanks to suit my thoughts. After all the original novel was translated, so it's possible they didn't get the novel quite right. The same goes with the anime. They could have base anime after the manga. It's like a copy of a copy, of a copy, of the original.
Besides a lot of movies and anime can never live up to the novel. You just have to accept it for what it is. It's not a world acclaimed literary. Or a world renowned author. It's a simple good natured fantasy story to pass the time away with. Stop putting all your ideas into someone else work. If you don't like it, then don't watch it.

If you had read the novel before watching the anime then you would have realized that the anime is somewhat better than when you read it in novel form.

 

Novelty just wore off.
I recommend not watching or reading isekai for at least 6 months
I can't find anything to read myself been finding myself very irritable. I don't enjoy Overpowered Protagonist and stories without consequences.
Library of Heaven Path and Historys Number One Founder seemed different but I find the MCs too powerful.
I prefer characters like Han Li, that set traps and beat only weakened opponents.
More believable.
I should take my own advice too lol

 

You just summed up the majority of the isekai jp novels. A good isekai novels is hard to come by nowadays.

At least the good ones out there are really good. Like Youjo senki for example.

And imo most generic Isekai's would stop sucking so bad if the goal of the author wasn't blatantly trying to sell the book with the girls in the harem and self fullfilment.

 

Isekai Smartphone will probably make more money that Shield Hero.

Though I haven't watched the Anime, I already read the WN.
I'm planning to watch it to see how Bad is it. Well, I have nothing to do until the next episode of Knight and Magic anyway.

 

I obly watch it until the episode where he kick the general guy for the second time after they fought and somehow that guys regains his balance and the guy fiance thought that the guys does not love her anymore
