I was stuck with a second year who knew less than me, a first year at uni. FML. "Tomorrow" (i.e. today, 14 hours from now) I will have an exam, followed by another (even harder) exam the day after. Just when I thought I am going to be done with the stress; I still have a deadline at Saturday. FML Then there's the minor skirmish about NUF FM#28, where I got put with arguably-bad definitely-inexperienced teammates. ...this one is actually less worse than the other two miseries of this week.
Help me God I just went through the most stressful morning I've had all month. Good Lord why did I even agree to this curse my inability to say no to higher authorities who want me to help lead the next generation of students.
I HATE YOU, PAPERWORKS! DON'T FORCE ME! LEAVE ME ALONE! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU AT ALL! MY WIFI IS DEAD! DAMNIT! I WANNA PLAY GAMES! AAAAAAGHH!!
I HAVE MY OWN LIFE, DON'T COME TO ME FOR YOUR EVERY URGENT THINGS... uhh I feel bad, I'll help you again...
1. Guess which fool had taken the time to read the shorter posts while skipping Squad and Blackie's long posts? Answer: IT'S ME! 2. Guess which diligent bastard took the time to read the rules? Answer: IT'S ALSO ME! 3.1. 12 x 18 feet!? GAAAH WHY THE HECK DO AMERICANS STILL USE THE IMPERIAL SYSTEM!? That country is literally one of the three or four remaining countries to not use the metric system! 3.2. SQUAD! FOSSIL! Look what you did! Now we only have 3.6 x 5.4 meters of space to work with!
That's why I added other rooms that acted as either a loo, a closet, or a smithy. Damn though, just ignore it and make it a normal room, not like Haxa will care unless you make it the size of a stadium.
I could have (unnecessarily) given my characters a Colosseum to spar, a big onsen to relax and cleanse the mind, and/or a uselessly big room to meditate... Now I will have to ask miss receptionist to give my characters keys for more than one room! I AM A MINIMALIST WHEN IT COMES TO ITEMS FFS! (Note: This is a rant thread.)
Then...why not do it in the fog? Haxagen said that literally anything can happen in the fog, so it means that you can be quite loose on what you post. I'm pretty sure your characters can go back to anywhere they've been, or actually, you can claim the worlds you've been to. I find that way to be "sort-of" reasonable
Because I am a realist! What fun is there when you always obtain whatever you want!? Imagine this: What use is a McGuffin when you don't use it anyways!? Travelling between worlds? I abandoned those worlds! Instead, isn't it WAY more fun if random things happen that you could NEVER predict!?
