Discussion Reading list~

Yo~

The reading list feature is great right? I mean it did take me 10 months to create one due to laziness but still its great. I started off with the standard list but after a while it just grew and grew and became a mess. This then leads to the sorting of the list (which may have taken longer than necessary, again due to laziness). Once I separated the novels into different lists, this is what I got~



The CN, JN & KN is pretty obvious. Fin~ is the novels that are completely translated and I have read all the chapters. Drop is of course novels I've dropped and will not read. So glad ton ton added the notes feature so now I can remind myself why I stopped reading those novels I dumped here. Hiatus is for novels that have either stopped being released by the writer or the translators have gone on a long break. And finally On hold is like the naughty corner. Its where I put the novels that I stop reading, cos they are starting to annoy me not because I'm dropping them. I can leave them there, hidden, to build up chapters while the annoyance goes away.

Well that's my reading lists explained. Have you created a reading list? Too lazy to create one? Don't know how to create a reading list? If you got one how have you done your reading list(s)?Have you left it as one big list? Separated it into different sections? What have you called them?

I remember making lots of sections for my RL.

In the end, less is more. (Though I need creativity with my naming).
I keep it simple with Read, Active and Fav.
Most of the novels are in read(even dropped/untranslated ones). I don't actually segment it that way atm since I'm lazy but that was the idea currently.

now here is the kicker, awful trasnlator for good stories in the hand of unrealiable translator whose quality or release date are questionable and i won't touch until a new trasnator pick it up

Too lazy to arrange everything.
I just dump those that I haven't read for a while, not planning to read and not updating in one file. Everything else is on my reading list.

Bored to read list - dropped novels but planning to read again if i wanted to.

 

Haha. I'm so bored that I changed my reading list name into some kind of Xianxia name.

 

I generally don't split my JP/CH/KR, i'd rather just look at them all for releases in one go. Easy to tell which is which. I do however split off 2 others. RBV - Read by Volume (I tend to wait for full volume completion for many LN's themselves, since that's the manner they're meant to be read in), and Plan to Read (For novels that had a synopsis that interested me but either have a low number of chapters, an inconsistent pace, or i'm just reading too many things at the time).

 

I have: Reading - Plan To Read - On Hold - Dropped - Ignore. No separation between JP/CN/KR.

 

Reading : Series im curently following
Completed : Self explanatory
Backlog : For hiatus and novels which i may read in the future
Mature : R-18 corner
Fluffy : Emergency ration to heal my broken heart when i accidentally read a tragedy or too tired with life in general

 

And out of 90++ in the Actually reading, I only read 2.

 

Lolol~ I get where you’re coming from, but I would probably keep on reading despite the poor quality of translations. I’ll read the novel as a filler when I’ve got nothing to do.

What names?

I had it like that in the beginning. But I kept adding novels and the number got too much. I couldn’t handle it~

 

My Reading has 120 right now. Updates for most novels are slow enough to make it manageable for me. Though I do have quite a bit of free time.
