So. Every time I read rebirth/transmigration stories, there is antagonist who is fake white lotus (real green tea or black lotus). But I wonder. Is there ANY rebirth/transmigration in which white lotus antagonist is really THE white lotus and totally not guilty in the main characters' misfortunes? (White lotuses' suitors may be black and guilty as charged, but when white lotus learn about it he must be repulsed and not pleased). Any recommendations? Preferable BL. To clarify: I am looking for transmigration/rebirth in which protagonist (usually villain and/or cannon folder) transmigrates, and his antagonist ("original main character") is true, innocent white lotus, who didn't done protagonist any harm directly and didn't had intention to. I've been asking myself the same question for a while... I think there used to be real white lotuses in stories, but maybe it was too unrealistic or people just thought it would be a good plot twist to make them a secret villain. I feel like even the meaning of white lotus has been twisted for me... anyhow I don't have any recommendations! But I'll be camping here
I agree with you. I feel like now the meaning of white lotus and green tea bitch is basically the same. In fact I found more novels describing this type of character as white lotus instead of green tea bitch. I haven't read any with real white lotus either so I'm joining the camp

I'm pretty sure that the white lotus in Guide to raising the sick villain was a real white lotus, but it's been a while since I read this. In this novel MC transmigrated into a book and her Orig. Body was supposed to become hostile towards original protagonist. However MC changes her life and never pays attention to her. The novel does not pay very much attention to the white lotus though they're in the same class at school in the beginning. The attention in the novel is on MC and on ML who is sitting in a wheelchair and is autistic.

So I've read the novel which is exactly what I meant: Cannon Fodder Tore the Fake Young Master Script Only MTL for now, but I'm fine with MTL. It's real and fake master plot, and the real young master is SECOND BEST BABY IN THE WORLD (first being MC, ofc) He's totally innocent, sunny and optimistic person, who regards MC first as the best friend, than as brother. He never did anything wrong even in the first life. So dear.
The Cannon Fodder Male Wife of a Wealthy Old Man also fits pretty well. MC and white lotus protagonist are the best friends and MC ships the "official" pairing while having his own. Super cute!
