My thing is that there seems to be endless filler describing the situation. The border defense went on forever. I think the author made an off the cuff remark at the end of the novel that he wrote it just to keep his ranking.

 

Man, it took forever to get through the forest to the sect. I kinda liked the story but the filler is killing me. At least Binger was reintroduced.

I don't know specifically that. But parts of the tale that should be like 3 chapters are spread out to 12 or so. Plus I read the author really rushes during the ending and summarizes a lot. Then he posted a note that he only wrote the novel to keep his Qidian status.

 

Great to see that a new translator has picked this up after webnovel/QI dropped it. After Transcending the Nine Heavens this is my fav Fengling Tianxia work.

Hopefully we get to see this fully translated one day.
