Agreed. I took it as him acknowledging her resolve; Miao obviously knew it would leave a scar and did it with no hesitation. I'm not good with the whole "face" garbage, but I wouldn't be surprised if being gifted something like that (after doing such a thing with resolve) would be like an insult. Like questioning if she really thought it through or accepted the results or something.

 

I am eagerly waiting for the banquet drama...

 

Her wanting for her parents and brother to stay for half a year is so sweet. Though there's probably some plan behind the reason of wanting then to stay, besides being guilty about the past life. I also can't wait for the banquet! It seems like the dirty old prince is finally gonna get what he deserves.

 

Actually its kinda sad that she cant Express her love to her parents in a childlike normal way. I really hate Shen 2 nd and 3rd family for that

I feel like it would fit fine. The whole plot is about how her first life had a terrible second half, and she is working to prevent that from occurring to her current life.

As such, a "happily ever after" ending would fit perfectly well; she just has to overcome a number of obstacles before that is possible.

 

I think the second house of Shen are brainless, no sense at all.... even the Prince Yu... brainless people ... its so irritating.....
It was them who schemed against MC first and now they claimed that she played them....!!!!
They are even acting as victims....
