Recommendations Recommend something off this list

Reincarnator - Favorite new novel by far, a non traditional setup (other than god being involved) with a fleshed out world that is being revealed step by step. Only issues with it so far are that some of the people might annoy you and generally being dicks for greater gains is the name of the game. Also people die.

My Disciple - Pretty funny take on xianxia with a bystander as the MC. Read it sometime soon unless you want to just stockpile until the true first arc ends, which is coming up soon going by the looks of things. MC can die in this.

Dragon Maken War - Generally good story. Not sure what to say as nothing seems amazing about it yet and the number of chapters available is on the low side compared to the rest of the list. I just greatly enjoy it.

The Hero - Short fun read, short means short. Magic creates heroes in alternate dimension and they kill stuff to gain notoriety and more magic. Enjoyable short read that can lead you to question the world while waiting for the next chapter which in my book is a plus.

 

this guy... his upright mod facade is a sham i tells ya. Doing them copyrighted backroom novel dealings....

 

Ze Tian Ji- if you want a well written and detailed story. Disciple if you would like to read in the perspective of a heroine trying to protect the xianxia world she was brought into from the sterotypical tropish xianxia mcs. Lots of comedy, decent writing , translations, and makes fun of the trope. Kumo if you're bored and need alot of good laughs.

 

Murdering Heaven Edge

Right up there with ISSTH & TTNH. (And all three are above of Mo Tian Ji, Demon's Diary, by a hair)

edit: infact, I see you ranked ISSTH & TTNH well, and dropped the same books I dropped, so I should really be using your read list for suggestions.

Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?

Mc reincarnates to a monster in a game like world, and she's pretty much the most lovable spider ever.
The fights are well done, and her progress is supported by her unique way of thinking.
It also has several side series from the perspective of other characters, which also serve to deepen the reader's understanding of the world.
It's quite unique among reincarnation novels, even among reincarnation into monster novels, you ahould definitely give it a read.


My Disciple Died Yet Again

Typical xianxia is what this is definitely not. It has a lot of comedy, originated mostly from her and her master's personalities and the extreme difference in their common senses, with neither of them resembling what would be standard in that world.


Reincarnator

MC comes from the future and therefore has an extreme advantage in information compared with the rest of the beginners in the tutorial. There're only 30 something chapters as of now, but it seems interesting enough.


Great Demon King

MC gets transported to another world and ends up in the body of a slave errand boy for a magic academy. He gets memories with extensive magical knowledge because of the way he died.
Up until now, his personality seems closer to Yue Yang's than Chu Feng's, which is a plus for me (shameless rather than murderous). His way of advancing supposedly makes him more and more unrestrained, and he always considered himself 'evil' in his previous world, so it may be too soon to make conjectures though.

 

Reincarnator from your list - it presents diverse people, diverse opinions in a survival world. And .. The mc isn't a hero, nor a villain. It's a human.

Gate: thus the Jdsf fought there. It has magic and modern weapons. Different worlds and words, it teaches you politics and can be a bit dark.

Law of the Devil - it has a bit of commerce, the mc can be a bit unlikable, it doesn't seem to be too well developed but.. It isn't unmanageble. Beside that, you can read a bit about gods, conspiracy and war.

Legendary Moonlight Sculptor - i like how the writer hides some social values.

Ze Tian Ji.. Can be interesting but.. The writer looks like a begginer. It can't build 'cliffs'. Or maybe i'm too insesitive. It's about cultivation, can expect philosophy.

Totem - i have expectations. It has cultivation, minority supprimation and chance to develop.

Lefend of Arslan(?) - it shows, even if it's not entirely originan, new things. It has politics, war and kingdom saving.
+ I shall seal the heaven. It has cultivation, moral concepts and a likeable mc. It won't annoy you too much.

This is my list. Those are the novels that i continue to follow.

The best novel i ever read is Boku no pico try reading it you wont regret it

The only ones I've read from that list are: Stellar Transformations, Perfect World, Dragon-Blooded War God, Otherworldly Evil Monarch and I recommend all of them, especially Otherworldly Evil Monarch.

 

Ze Tian Ji - a good but slow novel
Otherworldly Evil Monarch - not the typical xianxia, the MC actually used his brain
Skyfire Avenue - from the writer of Douluo Dalu, the characters are awsome
Perfect World - it's funny
Reincarnator - a great novel with OP MC

 

World of Cultivation- It has a similar yet different feeling from ISSH so you'll probaly like it. However i am surprised you haven't read it.

 

The hero. A unique refreshing change (atleast for me) if all you read are from NU. Since the super hero genre are few to none here and all the other stuff is either fantasy or xianxia. It feels like a more shonen version of one punch man.. the mc arent near as dull or as OP as saitama though.

 

Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? is highly original and definitely not what you would expect, can't recommend it enough. Too many positives for this novel.

Stellar Transformations has excellent fights, a smart protagonist and interesting progression. I am looking forward to the endgame.

Warlock of the Magus World is new and i have enjoyed the start. Callous mc and world so far. Looking forward to what is unleashed.
