Loyal support characters that devote themselves wholeheartely to their other. Nothing overbearing/sickeningly sweet with a side of blackening. Eg. "My wife has been wronged. I will destroy that family." "My wife wants to do something? Everything literally in my property is yours to use." No maliciouses or jealously to the point that it gets 'ridiculous'. Side character, B-story, just hand over the novel. Any nature of relationship, it doesn't matter. Sort of want something like "I Want Medicine" Also, what happened to the recommendations prefix?
Shuang'er from "The Deer and the Cauldron" is the first character to come to mind. Sure, I get that some people claim that she's a bit too subservient, but she's still a really fun character; the kind that you want to see more of on the page. There's also Han Youliang from "回到明朝当王爷". She's basically just Shuang'er transplanted to another book though. For a very different flavor, there's Sheng Jihuan from the same book. She's the kind of person you absolutely don't want to get on the bad side of - she's utterly brilliant, utterly ruthless, completely protective of the person she's devoted to, and she'll come up with a million plans to ruin your life. Sheng Qiyun isn't immediately likeable, but she is one of the most complex and interesting characters I've ever come across.
Yeah, and their extremely loyal. The master and servant relationship can be considering to be quite pure. I’ve had enough with blacked protagonists!
