I'm looking for a novel with those funny misunderstandings. Examples are like, the mc will be going about his day, doing is own things and people somehow misunderstand it and think stuff like "such a good person he is", "he works so hard for us, how could I have ever doubted him" Idk if this explains what I'm looking for but to put it simply, whatever the mc does, people will misunderstand it in a way that makes him look like some kind and thoughtful human being or feel pity for him for no reason. I'd perfer it to be a BL or just something with no romance at all.
