The manhwa stopped because part 2 is ended, author is currently drawing part 3 and some chapters are out on ridibooks. Looking for some spoilers though

As no one has posted yet. Review till Part 2 and little bit about manhwa (excuse mistakes, will correct it later): This was a rollercoaster read. Great use of art colors. Only 3 color used - red, black and white, red is sometimes used as foreshadowing of Red Fox or dramatic event as well as Eyes of Red Fox to identify it (not always read, it can change the color according to appearance), might be uncomfortable at first, you will adapt to it. Regarding the plot, no spoilers: Warning: Tragedy, gore(not that much), smut (slightly), romance(?), supernatural (only Red fox and divine power), incest(? - because royals, you won’t be outraged by this when it happens as a lot horrifying things will have already happened by then) Plot and characters: [Calling Part 1: Main Story: and Part 2: Side Stories here as part 2 goes into past & only few instances of future] You have to brace your mind while reading, not everyone’s cup of tea. ML is truly cruel, no redeeming quality except that he has no emotion definitions of his own feelings (sometimes doubting there is emotion but you see anger, obsession, loneliness and jealousy in beginning). (Instead of he should call “it” as ML/MC the Red Fox is a creature no gender, though most significant forms of it are male except one) Main story in quite tragic, full of tragedies (not one, multiple feels like some of the “main” characters too) Though the main story goes on for almost a century so some will definitely die. Side stories are a breath of relief after Main story. Slightly tragic but not quite that much as main. Goes on journey of Red Fox for quite few centuries. Almost 10-15 monarchs are discussed and explain lot of things in main story and what Red Fox comes to understand as “love” and what is “human”. The end of side stories (at ch 169 for now) is bitter sweet. Leaves us with a good feeling. The prologue is epic, explains later how you would also do the same as the warning to prevent what is to come if you don’t do as warning (i.e. Red fox comes in any human form, could be someone very close to you, if ever encountered Red Fox, give your liver to it. You don’t want to see what will happen if you bargain or you don’t listen to it). I had a nightmare after completing this, which doesn’t happen even after watching horrors… But still an interesting read. Glad to read it. If any spoiler needed, I will post that, though it is already out till Part 2.
Red Fox is a creature - not He or she, can take any form. Though because it takes mostly “he” form while interacting with main characters & his most iconic forms. It has no name but it is called by few names by humans it got close to over the centuries. Spoiler: Spoiler on Name Red Fox’s favourite and most commonly used name is Iza. Iza was name by 2 significant people in story - one told in Main story and another in Side story. It frequently takes their appearance too, though doesn’t remember them. (Red Fox doesn’t remember almost everything except bits and pieces of dialogue, impacting one sometimes even with image of person saying) 1. (This is in side story but occurs centuries before the main story, appearance: a teen kid, when weakened takes this form) Red Fox saves a teen child who was dying after an accident and begged to be immortal, first experiment - though Red Fox discovers the boy doesn’t “love”/“like” killing like Red fox does. Red Fox gets bored and leaves the child. But while leaving, the child Iza taunts him with a game that if it remembers Iza’s name when next time they meet. Also, Red fox will kill Iza if met, he is okay because immortality especially as a child sucks. This game is fun and later when a young (future 1st priestess of kingdom) runs from home and discovers Iza, she befriends him, finds out about Red Fox called Creature then. Iza is killed (Iza also wanted to die but wanted to save the girl) and Red Fox takes appearance of another girl finding that girl has special power, both are taken to palace. She calls him Iza to remember her old friend. She teaches most of human behavior to Red Fox. When asked by Red fox what are they, she said friends. She becomes priestess, gets married and pregnant. Red fox grows irritable & jealous that she isn’t paying it attention. Kills her teachers, husband, brother, etc. She ask him to play a game like Iza did to remember her name and locks him temporary. (Doesn’t last long, only till 2-3 generation). He forgets her name too. That is why when Sana said to Red fox for froends, it adamantly said no. Iza was what it asked Sana to call (because of game, name imprinted and the name by its longest friend, the first priestess) and after this, the child’s appearance is his most frequent one aside from second Iza one because of child’s words when dying (how Red fox can only “force” someone to live with it, no one will do it willing) 2. The start of main story - Iza name, appearance: late teen or early 20s man, the guy in cover : one of the most handsome guy, princesses proposed to this guy previously. Sana’s maternal aunt had a crush on him. (Previously thought Red fox killed him, but not true, revealed at the end ch 168 & 169, the only fluff chapters of whole series aside from few side characters love story). This is the main appearance taken by Red Fox and the name used by Sana, including the cover. Many readers even refer to Red fox as Iza only. Another significant name and appearance taken: Spoiler: Ibana Ibana: The Original guy was a referred as useless son of a power minister of previous state kingdom (chancellor type - 2nd highest after king and heir to throne if royals died). Red Fox kills Ibana’s brother & takes his appearance (not sure but this name might also be Iza). Ibana not a great fan of his brother, immediately recognises that it is the “creature” and he and his wife befriends him. Ibana becomes one of the first friend of Red Fox (that it was not bored with in presence). Ibana dies early and at young age because of sickness. Ibana wish for his friend, Red Fox to take his appearance and his name and make his dad (the chancellor type person) proud. Ibana’s dad though immediately recognises that it is a creature and request to repay the favor by defeating the army (they are been invaded by another empire where army ratio is 1:100, definite loss) and become the king. Red fox taking appearance of Ibana, defeats the army single-handedly and asks Ibana’s wife if she would come. She refuses as Red fox isn’t “real” Ibana she loved (this plays important role as no one likes Red Fox for its own but the form it takes, except kid Sana and another woman who was toxic af and teaches Red Fox wrong & toxic love we see in main story). Red Fox rules as Ibana king, regarded as god by citizens for a time till that chancellor dies. (Red fox mainly drinks, sleep with women and kills, only chancellor works & another woman who also becomes Red Fox’s friend, only woman in palace it didn’t sleep with). That is how Country is renamed Ibana kingdom. Spoiler: Total people who become immortal by Red Fox 1st: Teen boy name Iza, killed by Red fox. 2nd: A girl Red fox met, she said she loved it as the “creature”, not the form it took. Lot of smut scene here. She repeatedly cheats on Red Fox, almost taunting it also she is bored of immortality and Red Fox, Red fox ties her up (recalling words of teen Iza that no one will live with Red Fox unless forced) She is angry and said she hates the creature now. After a while, escapes and runs away. Red Fox also forgets who she was as usual (except her one dialogue on how she felt when she feel in love with creature). Years later, Red Fox finds that a collector is experimenting with an immortal girl and torturing her. Not able to recall who she is now, she begs Red Fox to kill her and it kills her. 3rd and 4th: (2 child of twin priestess and Red Fox) The twin priestess request Red Fox to give their child (child with Red Fox therefore its their 2 son) immortality. They both teach divine power at Palace. 5th : Sana (though she still grows up more even after becoming immortal unlike teen Iza) Let me know if any other spoiler is needed. It is a long story with many many characters spanning centuries. Main Story, Part 1: Around 100-150 years span, 4+ monarchs passes in part 1 (living from 15-45 yrs). Multiple POVs as many characters die and are born. One of the monarch in main story was 35th King. Part 2: Kind of side stories with past+future events related to Part 1. Multiple centuries. 10-15 monarches are discussed including first 4, some skipped entirely and more on some side characters as well.

I guess we can call it aberration. People mostly addressed it as “Creature” (we call it the Red Fox & in the legend that its priestess friend made to warns about this creature calling it Red Fox - He loves killing people, playing with people by demanding their or loved ones liver & has Red eyes) Also, some one in manhwa (in narration) said that it (meaning the creature) was like a cloud of menacing red fog that one day came to existence. The whole manhwa is about a creature (call it evil or just tantrum throwing powerful child in learning phase) that tries to understand humans, their behavior and emotions, while also showing some hints of being jealous and wanting the same as humans - family’s love, someone caring for it, testing human’s feeling they call “love”, someone acknowledging its existence and liking it for itself (like Ibana, his first friend we could trace back in Part 2). Spoiler: Red Fox’s Priestess Friend is … The girl who became first priestess & whose family was killed by Red Fox because it got jealous similar to what happened with Sana’s Dad. She is the one who temporarily locked Red Fox - kept temple records on dealing with it & created the Red Fox Legend that you see in Chapter 0. Spoiler: Red Fox’s existence Red Fox’s reason for existence is a mystery as the creature itself has no reliable memory that it remembers anything about its existence, heck it doesn’t remember last person it killed or it had children who it made immortals! All other people who might remember why are long dead. The whole idea of Red Fox’s feelings - like when it tells it loves Sana is based on few pieces of conversation that stuck with it and its understanding of it. (doesn’t remember who said it or their faces though). Sometimes those understanding are not entirely correct due to how the person who said behaved afterwards. Most of the Red Fox’s behavior can be described as a child seeking attention from someone it considers important to it and throwing tantrums when not getting. But with its strong power & great intelligence (yes, it is intelligent in cold, calculating way - like it made Sana pregnant, made her “believe” her brother died & she lost the baby - not sure what exactly happened to the baby), no one is equipped to handle its tantrum. Additionally, Spoiler: On Other Immortals created & Sana-Red Fox prediction on this From what is shown so far, only Red Fox can kill them. So My prediction is - if Red Fox doesn’t kill Sana, she will live as immortal mostly by Red Fox side as we know that what Sana wants is to be loved & Red Fox wants is someone who needs it and a companion (who isn’t boring like 1st Iza too I guess since Red Fox left him calling him boring) Went on Big Rant, but hope this helps. This is my understanding of this weird but awesome in some way manhwa. The Summary is apt for this manhwa. It is about kingdom Ibana & its creature Red Fox with “love” in quotation as it has some definition of love that it learned from humans - which is like every human different from each other. Also, truely tragic love story. Summary & Title didn’t lie.
