Idk I guess I won't be able to accept the ML. I don't like MLs who are already married or have concubines or something to marry the FL and then dismiss all the other women. Tbh they showed how they valued virginity of the girl so now that he slept with all those concubines, won't they be unable to find someone else. He will spend his life happily with the FL but what about others. If he didn't take their virginity then i guess it's fine but if he took their virginity then I'm not sure how I feel about the ML. I guess won't be able to like him. And his father also had many women to sleep with so MLs mother also suffered alot so how could he do the same to others.

 

well if you base it in history, usually the concubines that have fallen from grace are gifted as a reward to be someone else bride... it shows a great favor to that person being gifted even if she's no longer a virgin since she was a "property" of the emperor
