Regarding Thread Quality

Over the past few days I've noticed something disturbing occurring on NUF. Which is the creation of spam threads at an increasing rate. It may be just me, but it seems like lately every other thread is a spam thread that has to be locked. I'm not going to lie and say that threads on NUF have always been on the up and up or that have always had some kind of meaning because they haven't but there has always been the illusion of purpose(something some of the current threads are lacking). If you are so bored that you need to create a thread that has no purpose you can always give an older thread some much needed lovin'. If you are dead set on starting your own thread refer to this : Good guidelines to follow

It is my humble opinion that NUF guidelines are in effect for a reason and that threads should be held up to a certain standard so that it remains the the wasteland of Ordered Chaos that we all love. Please share your own thoughts and opinions.

 

I think it's just nostalgia. We just have mods who will lock threads alot more often now so it's more apparent.

It it could be that is oldies are the best content creators and the newbies should learn a thing or two from us.

 

This did cross my mind. I used to want to take part of every thread but now... not so much. But you're right the best threads are always created by the OGs of NUF.

 

With an exception to @Parth37955's polls, but he grew out of that faze so it's good.

 

Not fast enough.

 

Let's not dwell on the past. At least it happened.

I've been around sorta. Been busy with stuff. But yeah has been a while. And I hope to be back full force and I also hope to keep NUF as great as it is.

I agree, there are a bunch of useless/not well thought out threads that seems to be popping up recently.
I haven't been here long, but I hope it isn't always like that.

 

I'm giving likes for noticing what is happening and cause @tocos10 XD yea i wish they would stop posting their shit threads everywhere.

Report all the retarded threads. That's the best way to bring it back. I miss the old days so much but no one would appreciate NUF if even we can't protect and maintain it. We have mods true and they are working hard but they are still few and are not all seeing. If we dont tell them what's wrong they might never see it thus the crime goes unpunished.

 

It wasn't in the past and won't be in the future not If I can do anything about it.

I'm glad people are behind me. I just hope spread the word so that more people will realize what a wonderful place this site really is.

 

So after some extensive research which took 2 minutes of my precious time, I have finally come up with a list of people this thread could help.

well these are the people I recently noticed getting their threads deleted so to all of them, you are welcome. And I will repeat this comment again (one of my favourites, if I say so myself) the next time you think about making a thread, don't.

Only one of my threads got locked and that was the "Stop with the "Like" thread, which btw is something people agree with
