I think you should add the LCD prefix for this thread.

 

The whole yandere element killed the story for me.
The MC is no longer in charge of his own destiny.
It is no different from Chinese stories about leaving things up to fate.
Such a passive protagonist pisses me off

true another thing that kills it for me is the fact he has so many potential love interests, this dude is already busy enough trying to take care of his guild and a bunch of other stuff but somehow the author thinks writing in a new yandere girl every arc is a good idea lol, also the past life shit is a load of garbage, also the fact his dragon daughter is in love with him is also a disgusting thing

 

To each their own , I can’t read more than 10 chapters of 99% of Chinese novels myself.

I am saying it is similarly annoying when yandere is replaced with fate.

Given that Japanese were barbarians when Chinese literature was invented and Korean didn't even have an alphabet.

i've read up to chapter 200 and still didnt really enjoy, and the fact that he keeps calling himself a piece of trash is getting annoying, i've heard it so many times and i can already picture a scene in the future with all his yandere harem consoling him telling him he isnt bad and telling him to get it together and save the world

 

I mean, the things he does definitely make him an asshole. At least he is acknowledging that what he is doing is wrong and trying to sugarcoat it by thinking he is morally in the right. And i assure you that the scene you are picturing in the future does not happen.

I think you need to read some more lol. Some of the things he does in future chapters do show he has some serious backbone.

Lol you guys really don't know what's coming. The MC has a spine and is probably one of the evilist guys out there. Essentially if you looking for a guy that's was purely Chaotic Neutral, this would be your guy. The mc never gets op strong, his domain is manipulation, propaganda, and self preservation. He also bangs his harem(he does get raped a few times) and he ends up paying for making some many people dependent on himself. Am at chap 600 ish in the story. This is not a cookie cutter story. Btw...mc was the hidden villain of the first playthrough that traumatized the MC.

 

he's not mentally ill if he can tell what he's doing is wrong, i would've preferred it if he was mentally ill lol

 

Oh, so in a non-spoilery way, it's confirmed he was the big bad of round 1?

 

Yeah, in chapters 329-332. It was confirmed that he was the "masked man" and was one of the reasons that the regressor failed in the first round.

Well as of the latest chapter he convinced himself that the crimes he committed in the first run were all the fault of someone else and even managed to feel actual rage towards that other individual...And now he’s begun his attempts at screwing that person over all while experiencing righteous indignation...

I guess what one makes of this might depend on oneself tho...

 

The part with the First and Second princess is by far the most annoying part of this novel for me, almost makes me want to skip it all till it’s over.
