Will the side stories be translated by Active?
That ending is really making me curious about the afterstory just like ORV.

 

Doesn't seem likely given that Wuxiaworld has licensed RIM, so it's only a matter of time till the chapters translated by Active are gone

 

Oh, I see. I suppose WW will end up translating the side stories then. I just hope they do not take forever to do that if they will, considering RIM has already been fully translated.

 

Depends, if WW decides to redo the translations themselves, it'll probably take over 3 years for them to catch up to where Active is at. If they buy off Active's TL for the Main Story then it might not take long for them to start on the Side stories.

 

WW is indeed going to redo the translations. A pity for the side stories, which will now likely take a long time to be translated. But a high quality translation is also very nice. I may have to reread RIM after it gets fully translated again.

 

Might be easier to just buy the chapters from active for wuxia world.

 

On the announcement they made about picking up RIM, they said it's easier to just TL it from the beginning rather then:
We don't touch MTL as a rule of thumb. The amount of work needed to properly translation-check MTL line-by-line gets very close, and sometimes exceeds, the amount of work needed to retranslate it entirely.

 

Lol ok. I've marked the novel and read the novel through a-t and I think I got 100% of the novel...

 

Was active even MTL? Because it didn't feel like MTL.

 

But active don't do MTL tho. They are all quality translation be it RiM, Trash Hero, Villain Wants to Live. All of them are good quality. I can sense MTL from afar

 

I just repeated what was said on wuxiaworld's announcement for RIM and Gourmet Gaming, when somebody asked "I thought regressor instruction manual was being translated by active translations?" and RWX responded that it was Unlicensed MTL, same as most everything they are doing.

edit: Some of their older projects TL were worse then MTL though, with constant changes in translators or the MTL making more sense then their TL, like the early chapters of VIP they did, SSS-Class Summoner, I Was A Porter, and a few other ones they did.

 

Can someone please tell me what will happen to kiyoung at the end???
