Not too sure which brooch you're referring to but Ye Ci did pick up a ring that dropped from Fleeting Time after she killed him before.

She returns the ring to him while they're dungeoning together. I don't remember the actual dialog but I think Fleeting Time makes Ye Ci feel embarrassed/angry towards the end (esp since its a ring out of all equipment). She turns away and changes the topic after he takes it from her hand and he stares at it a bit before giving it a kiss while she's not looking hehehe so sneaky Fleeting Time

I think he subconsciously does like her romantically (at least a little bit) towards the end but its too late by then. Or maybe I'm thinking of a different novel...

Hehe ~ there was a lot of descriptive stuff and internal thoughts between all this but I'm sure you can get the gist of it just from the dialog xD

No, he admired her, but there was no romance at all. Only gratitude.

Golden Era crumbled after a huge fight in game and most of their members left Fate for good while the remaining ones joined Upwards Ho!

I really like the cute moments between ML and MC, but in the translated chaps they're still kind of enemies.

He did love her but never confessed and regreted not foing it ( i don remember quite well if he wondered what could have happened) there is a small POV of him in one of the last chapters (in conference or when presenting a prize - i dont remember quite well)

 

It's a conference where he gave a speech in Fate's HQ, but he did not regret it, I don't think so.
