I remember the MC sitting on a cloud or something, I think he was ascending to a higher world, looking down on his female disciple?/foster daughter? and thinking something along the lines that he can't take her with him. Think it happened shortly after he peaked his carving. Anyone remember which chapter that was? Got a hazy feeling it was in the 900s but not sure. Nvm I found a scene that shouldn't be too far off in chapter 406. Gonna read on from there.
