As the title says, I'm looking for some science fiction. Beyond that, i dont care too much (well.. maybe romance only if its good, but not too much/sweet whatever). Be it original or translated, on this site or another, as long as its sci-fi without the main theme being some form of cultivaltion/ supernatural growth (if there are some form of superpowers its okay, as long as its somehow (futuristic?) technology based. Havent read/remember having read a single one that fits that, so they're all fair game! Thanks for reading & any suggestions, of course!
I’m not sure whether these quite fit, but BL “The Earth is Online” and “I’m Not Shouldering This Blame” have non-cultivation superpowers and are sci-fi.
Ark The Legend Galactic Dark Net Godly Model Creator (May BE) There aren't that many Sci-Fi novel on NU, but I would recommend u try English Arthur. Such books as Enders Game Dune Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Movie is pretty good)
Well, the main reason i'm asking is because i was originally reading both fantasy and sci-fi before i found NU and similar sites, but afterwards only read things like cultivation/magic/supernatural/similar things, so i kinda wanted to go back to the base sci-fi -in whatever form of that be - as its just kinda been too long without.... thanks for trying, though!
Transcendental Mechanic (not a current fan of QI's Legendary Mechanic translations...) is very good on the Sci-fi.
Unparalleled Path ~ Reincarnated as the AI for a Space Battleship ~ As several reviewers say, this seems like a rip off of 'The Lost Fleet' series by Jack Campbell. Still, it was an OK read. Note that I only read the first 15 chapters of this (when it stalled out), so I don't know how much it has diverged since.
The sci-fi that I've found without cultivation being the main plot element is not found on NU. Most of the sci-fi you find here may start out with personal cultivation being a supporting aspect but cultivation commonly becomes a more prevalent theme. If you want to try some actual novels you could check out one of these authors. Evan Currie (Odyssey One, and On Silver Wings Series) Jay Allan ( Blood on the stars) David Weber ( Safehold, Honor Harrington) Orson Scott Card (Enders Game, or Enders Shadow) Jamie Mcfarlane (Privateer Tales) A.G. Riddle (The Origin Mystery)
Try with Manuke FPS, and maybe with I Was Reincarnated and mistaken as a genius!? Those two have a little of both, the first one MC was a VRMMO player in a futuristic FPS and gets Isekai'd, the second one mc reincarnated in an alternative future with minor changes in the historical records between WWI and WWII
And with cultivation The World Online (not the BL one), this has VRMMORPG and stuff, also some cultivation but it's more kingdom building.
